The list of suspects is surprisingly long for a guy so well loved by the community. Just when Shayla and the gang are about to close in on a suspect, the unthinkable happens. Someone has snatched one of the gang! Can Shayla and Needles find the killer and the missing family friend before it's too late?

Deadly Feud is Book 14 in the Witch in the Woods series by Jenna St. James.

A Golem in Enchanted Island? YES PLEASE. I loved the description of the Golem and his living area on the North Side of Enchanted Island.

This is a well written, multi-layered mystery. The world building in this book is excellent.

I love the relationships and the family aspects of the story telling.

There are some really fun surprising for Brick and Zoie and also for Grant & Serena's getting close to delivering the baby.

Shayla and Alex make such a great team and of course Needles is my favorite!!!!

A golem on Enchanted Island! What an unexpected surprise to me but it seemed natural after meeting Al and getting to know him through Shayla. Ms. St. James has written another engaging mystery that includes plenty of twists, turns, red herrings and a few revelations for Alex, Zoie, Serena, Grant and Shayla. I love visiting Enchanted Island and would love to meet each one of these characters - even if I am a Normal. The gender reveal party for Serena and Grant was the perfect ending for the story. A great addition to the series.

Good

A mission from her father, and a missing man are the beginning of some new mysteries for Shayla Loci to solve, and the first means Shayla gets to meet a golem.
Then there are the other exciting events on the island… Serena and Grant find out the sex of their baby, and Zoey’s boyfriend Brick is graduating from High School!

Lots of stuff happening in this quick read in the Witch in the Woods series. The stories are not standalone ones, they take place in the same world, featuring the same characters and build on all the preceding books.
Fortunately, the books are enjoyable and quick to read, with a fun cast of characters and an intriguing magical world in which they’re all set.
An enchanting read for the urban fantasy and paranormal cosy enthusiast.

I never can get enough of Needles.

These books are so cute. Even though they are murder mysterious the books are fun to read and "sweet". The romance is PG rated with nothing I would feel uncomfortable having my teenage daughter read. There is a cast of characters from all paranormal genres including an ancient tree called the Black Forest King. Who happens to be the father of lead character Shayla. The best of all the characters for me is Needles, a flying porcupine who is A haulage guard. It all works and is well worth the read. Please start with Book 1.

Shayla has her hands full! Find the intruder into the forbidden north forest, meat Al the Gollum, find a home invader, murderer, blackmailer,kidnapper and kidnapped victim. Ms. St. James weaves a tangled web, introducing the most interesting of characters. Each twist and turn, each clue, just when you, the reader, think you know who did it, you find out you are wrong! Thank you again for a nail biting page turner.

I may be a Normal but I am DESPERATE to live on Enchanted Island!!

This book was incredible, it had me addicted from the first chapter and I begrudged putting it down when I needed to. There never seems to be a dull moment in Enchanted Island. There are twists and turns, there are laugh out loud moments, and if you haven’t read any of the books by this author before, then I highly recommend that you do and you will not regret it!

Another great adventure with more exploration into the north side of the island as crime is on the rise in that forbidden area. A beloved dentist is murdered and Brick is missing. Lots of great twists and misdirection. Great ending. Always wonderful to visit with the great characters on Enchanted Island.

Good read

There is murder, mayhem, mystery, love, and, as usual, many suspects. And any of the suspects could have a reason to murder. Also, a new creature is introduced. And a big surprise at the gender reveal party at the end. These books are short but very entertaining. Highly recommend.

Good series

Serena's pregnant and Alex and Zoie are both living in Shayla's Castle soon to be married. But new and old residents are still causing havoc on the island.

When Black Forest King finds out that people are trespassing on the North side of the island, he's furious! Another murder occurs and Alex and Shayla need to find the killer who's also trespassing.

So good

I don't really think it's to necessary to be giving a review this far in the series, if you've came this far a review isn't going to nudge you to keep going I'm sure; but, I just love that this isn't just murder mystery, it has lots of twists, lots of humor, lots of heart warming moments that brings a tear. Great series, fantastic author, thank you Jenna.

It was murder

Yep, there always seems to be something happening on Enchanted Island instead of just being quiet and enchanting. Its been a delight to see how much the characters have grown even during a murder investigation and I look forward to more visits.

Fantastic book!

This series just gets better and better with each book! I love coming back to the island to catch up with the characters! The mystery is intriguing, the plot nicely paced, and the ending very satisfying! I can't wait for the next book!

Another fun adventure

This was another fun adventure and the family will be growing soon. Another interesting Paranormal was introduced and there was a murder to be solved, of course. Lots of changes are happening on the island so I am excited to see what happens next.

The fun series continues. This cast of characters is truly enjoyable and work well together. This mystery just wasn't as tight as it usually is. I pretty much guessed the murderers right off. They just gave off bad vibes! A few surprises with new friends in the North and baby news.
