Wisdom for a King

Rate this book
Though I was King, there was much I did not know.

There was the matter of being King. And the matter of being Human.

Before me, lay a vast kingdom. Around me, lay a family.

In the middle of it all, I had become lost.

Then, on a day I will never forget, I was exposed to Truth.

The answers I had sought, lost all relevance. For in that moment, the questions had changed.

It was a journey I could never have imagined. And one that I find most difficult to describe.

It brought as much darkness, as it did light. For the tales of the Mind do not die easily.

I cannot say if I am a better man today than I was then. For such judgments have lost all meaning.

But the quality of my days and moments are unlike any I have ever known.

I cannot say if I am now wise.

But I can say for certain, that as a young King, I was not.

You can skip this book, 49 pages of Kapil advertising himself as a king adviser. His other books are better. Something changed in him lately, and even offers his "advisory services" for half a million dollars on Twitter - not kidding.

There are some good insights that can be summarized in 2, 3 quotes at most.
