No soy muy fanática de los libros que dejan cosas por explicar y los hacen precisamente (o al menos me da la sensación) cortos, para poder sacar un segundo y estirar la historia cuando aquí creo que se podría haber dejado todo atado.
Te sueltan cosas como lo de la violación de Iris, y cuando Beau e Iris lo hablan no queda claro que ella lo sepa o no. También Beau dice cuando mata a su violador (justo antes de que este confiese, solo porque la orden se lo deja en bandeja), dice que ya ha matado pero no sabemos por qué.
Puede que a algunas personas la relación con King les parezca atractiva, pero a mi me ha parecido súper forzada, y las actitudes del él (colarse en su habitación, masturbarse en su ducha, robarle ropa interior, etc) me ha parecido súper creepy. Y encima que se lo explique a Beau que se supone que en ese momento está con Iris y la quiere por encima de todo, que a él parezca bien y luego prácticamente la trate mal para empujarla a los brazos de King no me parece nada lógico, no sé.
Mis sospechas son que detrás de la orden está el padre de Iris, y que obviamente el disparo final no estaba cargado y todo era una prueba, espero.
Aún así le doy esa valoración porque me ha enganchado y estoy picada por leer la continuación. La verdad es que se lee fácil y como deja tantas cosas en el aire quieres saber que pasa.

Talk about getting sucked into the darkness, The Order of Obsession will draw you in from the first page and hold you captive until the very end. Beau, King and Iris get caught up in a web of deception that may cost them everything to get out. With so many players behind the scenes, I can't wait until the curtain is lifted and we see who is really pulling the strings.
Hilary Storm and Sapphire Knight do an amazing job of creating a world so twisted yet filled with loyalty and love you're both thankful you're removed from it and want to be a part of it all at the same time.

Beau, King and Iris have a captivating story. It is a secret society romance filled with suspense, secrets, steam, emotion, and twists. I was hooked from the very start amd the ending left me hanging. This is a dark read that is told from a multi pov. I am looking forward to the next book.

I was Blown away by this book, Beau, King & Iris are complete fire in this book. There’s a secret society that you can’t tell anyone about (think right club), even your best friend. You have to do unthinkable things. The richest of the rich and Elite are in so it’s a must for their kids. Beau and King will do anything and everything to be inducted until 1 order is too much for either of them to complete. That spells trouble, you don’t defy the society, EVER. I will say this ends on a cliff hanger so I can’t wait to read book 2 in this duo & the spice is scorching and the plot leaves you on edge and anticipating every move. Dual point of views, so you get to hear from out three main characters. I definitely recommend!!

Beau and Kingston both anxiously await their turns to be accepted into the elite, cryptic society, The Brotherhood Of Darkness. But they both get thrown a curveball when Iris shows up. These three grew up together and have always loved each other. But, the Society wreaks havoc when their directions aren't followed and this throws us right in the middle of a dark, twisted journey.

This has been one heckuva nail biter all the way through and then there's that ending! What a fantastic start to this duet! I can't wait for Vow Of Vengeance.

Lots of secrets, twists, love and loyalty in this creative venture. I am so curious as to what really happened with Iris while she was gone. And who is really behind the creepy masks and green robes?! Just when you think King and Beau have figured out a way to head off the society things get real. I cannot wait for Vow of Vengeance to find out if I need tissues or will want to throat punch someone lol!

Brotherhood of Darkness: Order of Obsession by Hilary Storm and Sapphire Knight is a fantastic book. This is the first book in the new The Brotherhood of Darkness series, and I will be adding the rest of the series to my TBR list. Brotherhood of Darkness: Order of Obsession is so hot and dark. This book had me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what came next. This book draws you in and makes you feel like you are part of the story. This book has action, suspense, romance, drama, heat, angst, and more. I had all the feels. This book was a roller coaster ride that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading, and I could not put it down. The book is well-written and has very likable characters. I can’t wait to read more from these fantastic authors. I would definitely recommend this book.

I read a short, more one-sided version of this story in a Dark Obsessions anthology. It focused more on King and his feelings for Iris. This very much has all three of them, Beau, King, and Iris. King has no idea Beau and Iris had a relationship beyond friendship in the past and Beau didn’t know King was totally in love with her too. King is on the dark and freaky side. He is so loyal. He also really only cares about a few people and has no problem offing anyone. Beau is a lot less dark. Iris wants them both and is unwilling to choose between them. The Society pits them against each other in the worst way. Cliffhanger ending, though I have a good guess how it will play out—hopefully! Very good story. Lots of sexy times, so,e that are on the raunchy side (thank you King).

Oh what a twisted tale. Be prepared for abuse, violence torture, Lies and truths unfold. The boys are determined they will never loose Iris again, she is theirs forever!!
Iris was definitely onboard for everything the boys wanted!!! Lots of red hot collar moments and some cringe moments.
They are set against each other, and i loved thee loyalty they had for each other!!
I enjoyed this book, and definitely looking forward to the next one

This is the first in a new duet, and this talented duo have done a phenomenal job in weaving this storyline. Iris, Beau, and King are caught up in a web of deception, and this could come at a high cost. Beau and King are best friends and want to become part of a secret society, but the curveball in the mix is Iris. I cannot wait to read the conclusion! This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, and action packed, with loyalty, angst, intrigue, suspense, love, and twists, which leads to an unpredictable and entertaining, spicy page turner.

Brotherhood of Darkness: Order of Obsession is the first book in The Brotherhood of Darkness series. The talent of both Sapphire Knight and Hilary Storm shines through in this fantastic book. I loved reading and following the beginning of Beau, King and Iris story as they do what they must to join the society, even possibly at the cost of losing everything dear to them. Sapphire and Hilary have written a great book that keeps you captivated from the very beginning, and I look forward to book two.

A love triangle of those who love with all their might and evil with the secret society, Elite, The beginning of this two book series kept me on my toes and as we ended book one, the writers have me on a precipice wanting to see what happens. Beau, King, and Iris have a love for each other that is forever, but will they survive?

This book is everything a dark romance is supposed to be. Secret societies, sociopaths, bully boys, frat parties as well as murder and mayhem make this book one you won't want to put down. My only warning is to BEWARE of the killer cliffhanger at the end because you won't want to wait too long for the conclusion.

What an amazing first part of this duet, and I can't wait for the next part. The first chapter will suck you right into this read, and you will not want to put it down. Two absolutely incredible authors come together to write this incredible story. Beau and Kingston best friends that are now trying to become apart of a secret society that is generation, and the only thing between them is Iris.

OMG! This collaboration was so explosive! I am familiar with Sapphire's writing and love her work. Hilary's writing is new to me but, not anymore. This book was so hot right from the start. Can't wait to read #2.
