Unlock the Thrills of a Key West Getaway Gone Dangerously Wrong.

Brooke and Jenny thought they were in for a weekend of cocktails and sunsets in Key West. What they didn't expect was to be plunged into a high-stakes hunt for a sunken treasure worth billions, alongside two enigmatic men whose secrets could cost them their lives.

Meet Ollie, a suave businessman with a hidden past that's more than just complicated—it's dangerous. Judged too quickly by those who don't know the full story, Ollie's secrets aren't just his own burden; they're a ticking time bomb for everyone around him.

Then there's Luke, Ollie's charismatic friend with a dark edge. His sinister tendencies are more than just quirks; they're a looming threat that could unravel the entire adventure.

At the heart of it all is the Notre Dame de Deliverance, a ship that sank in 1755, taking with it a treasure now worth over three billion dollars. Juan and his crew, employed by Lucky—a merciless crime lord—are also in the race to claim the sunken riches. But in a world of double-crosses, murder, and deceit, who can you trust?

Dive into this pulse-pounding tale of treasure, betrayal, and life-or-death stakes. Grab your copy now and uncover the secrets lurking beneath the waves of Key West!

What begins as a sort of meet-cute when the flight attendant rudely moves Brooke’s seating for a last second flight addition, quickly turns into a suspenseful romance. Defense attorney turned businessman Oliver “Ollie” Finch is on his way to return home to his beach rental company in the Florida Keys when Brooke is forced to vacate her prime seating for him. Escaping Pensacola for the Florida Keys with her best friend and business partner, Jenny, Brooke’s vacation is off to a bumpy start. Hoping to relax with her current read about shipwrecks of the Caribbean, her new seating arrangement ensures little reading is had. Hoping to leave the airport and the annoying man who stole her seat behind, she is less than thrilled when Ollie’s friend Luke hits it off with Jenny after running into each other at the hotel restaurant. Despite being courted by handsome businessmen, Luke and Ollie, Jenny and Brooke unsuspectingly get caught up in a sunken treasure heist and murder plot as their vacation turns deadly.

Enticing readers with the promise of sunken ships from long ago, and long-lost treasures, readers are instantly gripped between these pages as author Michael Merson crafts a master plot that circles the drain to the very finale. Readers’ intuition and hunches are flipped on their head just as they begin to navigate the twists. I was instantly captivated as “Key Getaway” opens in the familiar hustle and bustle of airports. As we are wound through various criminal points of view and treasure hunting dangers, the contrast between the innocence of Brooke and the seemingly nefarious practices of these otherwise strangers puts you right on edge.

“Key Getaway” transports readers to the beautiful beaches of the Florida Keys. Set amongst pirates and lost treasures, this current day romantic suspense is full of thrills, chills and watching your back.
