Magic is an art, science, lifestyle, and spiritual evolution. This book is designed for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced practitioners, giving a solid foundation of background and practices for the former and new ways of looking at magic for the latter. Through the practices and rituals in this book, you will be able to start your path using magic or develop it further, possibly transforming it entirely. The work in this book is not based on a specific religion or a specific occult tradition. Certainly, there are inspirations; however, this book does not reveal oath-bound material or purport a particular religious path. I intend that you use Magic Without Tools either on its own or as a complement to your existing practice. This book is intended for everyone. It doesn't matter your background, where your family comes from, where you live, or any other type of status. What I teach and share with you is accessible to all and is your birthright. There is no initiation required for it, no permission to use it needed, and no limitations for the reader. “Sincere. Informative. Interesting. Engaging. Wonderful encouragement for learning and honing your energy work in personal balance, healing, and protection.” – Silver Ravenwolf , author of Halloween! , To Ride a Silver Broomstick , To Light a Sacred Flame and Stolitary Witch . “By going beyond the tools and potions often seen in modern books of witchcraft, Sean Wilde gives readers a comprehensive understanding of how to explore and utilize magic in their lives with a minimalistic approach.” – Michael Herkes, author of The GLAM Witch , Witchcraft for Daily Self-Care , and Love Spells for the Modern Witch “I absolutely LOVE this book! My partner picked this book up for me on a trip to New Orleans, I wasn't sure what to expect but I read the entire book in one shot and loved all of the insight and personal experiences the author provided. Lots of interesting concepts and presents a completely different way to view the world. There are exercises in the book that can be used to delve further into this world of magic. If you have an open mind and are curious about some alternative perspectives check this book out.

This is a very valuable volume for the use of energy manipulation in one's magical practice. There are small qualms I won't go into, and whole sections that I won't get a lot of use out of (at least I hope I'm never called to engage in psychic combat), but the books wins out for its insights into visualization and other topics. Some of this insights are validating, while others may take a re-reading or two to comprehend more fully.

A solid read but it will feel redundant if you’ve read a lot of other occult books.
