Key Concepts in Ethnography

Rate this book
At last, an accessible, authoritative, no-nonsense guide to the key concepts in one of the most widely used methodologies in social Ethnography. This is not quite an encyclopedia but far more than a dictionary. This outstanding teaching and research resource is comprehensive yet brief. It is small and neat, easy to hold and flick through, and it is exactly what students and researchers have been waiting for.

This book is super concise. It includes almost all necessary ideas that ethnographers can and will use in their ethnographic endeavors, especially for me, who has zero experience in doing ethnography. I managed to finish it in three days (as a non-native English speaker) since I think the language used in this book is accessible to any kind of reader. Moreover, the case examples provided in the book helped me to comprehend the usage of ethnographic concepts in context.
