A Totally 80s Christmas

Rate this book
It’s Christmas 1985 in Cherry Hill.

Beckett Monahan is looking forward to celebrating her first Christmas with Detective Mitchell Crowe, but true to form, crime gets in the way of their plans. A spate of robberies around town—including at Beckett and Aunt Star’s house—shifts the couple’s focus from each other to catching the criminals and returning Beckett’s Christmas gifts to their rightful place under her tree.

Meanwhile, Beckett’s former friend Marty James is injured in the break-in at the hardware store, and her concern for his welfare leads to a reconnection between the two. However, shocking revelations from both Marty and Mitchell leave Beckett reeling and wondering what the future holds for her.

Can Beckett track down the thieves while navigating her relationships once again? Will she allow the drama in her personal life to ruin the holidays? Find out in A Totally 80s Christmas.

This cozy mystery contains a little more romance than mystery for the Christmas season, and it includes all the 80s nostalgia—music, fashion, technology, and toys. If you lived in the 1980s, this book will transport you right back to your favorite memories!

If you haven’t started this series yet then why not?

I’m totally hooked and a little put out the next book is not available. 😆

Beckett is my new best friend. She is me. Awkward at times, clumsy, but loves to help and be there for everyone.

There is mystery in this novella but there is also love and angst which we all need at Christmas right?

This novella just released yesterday but don’t start with it or you will ruin the love and angst. All books available on Kindle and through Amazon. Some are on kindle unlimited.

Go treat your shelf with some new cozy mysteries. Santa won’t mind.

The most wonderful time of the year 1985 turns out to be not so wonderful for Beckett and Starla who become victims in a series of robberies. As expected, Beckett examines evidence and clues to find the people who stole their Christmas gifts. At the same time, she examines her heart to uncover who she truly loves. Beckett faces deep soul searching, difficult conversations, and a weighty decision. This novella is my favorite of the Totally 80s Mystery series so far. My only complaint is I have to wait for the next book!

Since I have enjoyed reading the Totally 80s mystery series, I was happy to hear that the author would be writing a Christmas novella. There is still a mystery to be solved, and Beckett and friends are trying to figure it out, but the mystery takes a back seat to the romance in the story.

This was a quick, enjoyable read. I wonder what is next for Beckett and her friends in Cherry Hill!

Enjoyed this story and how Beckett solved the robberies at Christmas time in the middle of trying to find out who she really wants to spend the rest of her life with.
