Retribution: The Noose Tightens

Rate this book
The Consortium’s activities exposed worldwide, Sir is determined to return to the shadows. Something easier said than done. A multi-national effort strives to shut them down no matter what it takes. Nothing short of bringing the leadership and the members to pay for their crimes against humanity will satisfy the global community.

Determined to shut the Consortium down permanently, Heather and her new friends travel the world, coordinating the efforts of their multi-national supporters.

Sir is frantic to prevent their downfall on his watch. Everything Sir does hits roadblock after roadblock. He turns to his favorite pastimes, a bottle of scotch and his prey in the dungeons. As time progresses and Sir turns more and more to the bottle, it becomes increasingly uncertain who will survive longer.

Who will prevail in the global struggle for dominance, the lions or the prey? Is the Consortium about to fall? Will Avril prevail and survive over the pressures between the world’s or Sir’s thirst for blood, or will she succumb to her expected death?

"Everything is possible, nothing is impossible, it's all in the attitude." My personal motto.

So, that says a bit about me. I grew up in a world of believing that everything worth doing was worth doing well. I know that many things don't seem possible but who would have thought that 'Star Trek' communicators that flipped up would become a reality a decade ago.

I am the son of a war veteran who returned home to find his bride had moved on in life and left him behind. I suppose I should consider myself lucky as I was born to his second wife. Otherwise, I might not be around today.

Both were creative people. Dad had little creativity that only comes from the soul but had technique like I've never seen before. Mom had the creative talent but no technique. I think I inherited some of each.

Today, thousands of images flow through my brain in a single day, every day. I can't capture them all. My artwork tries but so many get away from me. My stories do a better job of capturing them. It is why I like to paint and write fiction based on fantasy, sci-fi, the awesome female form and erotica.

Some say I have a deviant spirit. Maybe I do. Others embrace that which I reveal to people. Yes, I have decades of experience hiding parts of me from the world. Frankly, I was scared to reveal my true self in a politically correct world where even the slightest comment or opinion can be chastised and degraded. I'm slowly learning to rewrite those feelings and embrace who I truly am. Thankfully, I have a very special person in my life who allows me the freedom to do exactly that, even if she doesn't agree with me at times.

So, there you have it. I'm a free-spirit, who embraces as much as I can, accepts that others have their beliefs that I will never try to change and open-minded enough to believe that not everything I was taught may be the truth. I question everything.

I see the universe we live in as a living entity. There is life and a spirit everywhere, in each of us, the trees outside my window, the rocks we walk on, the stars in the sky, the Milky Way galaxy and well, the entire universe.

Thanks for reading this far. Write me if you would like to know more. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner. I only ask that you be patient. I know you're busy and so am I. Thank you for taking your precious time to read about me.

loved this don’t care

What makes the storyline so compelling is that it really delve deep and puts you in the shoes of Averill. I felt her dilemmas in my girl really went through some sick trauma and just to see her character develop and how intelligent she is I know for sure I’ve been put down in the first month. The characters feel so real, and even though Sir is a villain, you still can’t help but find him attractive and like him but at the same time, think that he’s a crazy monster, just like Avril
Like a moth to a flame she know he’s gonna burn her. Yes, she still will only or unwillingly goes to the flame. I’ve never read anything like this is definitely a Unique series with real detail and it’s so realistic that they’re probably is something like this in real life . The characters are so complex and a little insights on everybody’s minds. That is very helpful for the overall telling of the story. There was no boring parts for me. The storytelling is great. I love this series I’ve devoured the series literally in a week and I just hope there’s a 7 book because I need closure.

This is a Dark Thriller, and this is the sixth book in the Consortium series. I have read the first five books in this series before picking up this book, and I feel you really need to read this series in order to follow what is going on. This book/series is not for everyone because it covers some really hard to read things (rape, killing, kidnapping, and much more). This is a very dark book with some really detail sex and killing parts. I really have been pulled into this story, and I really hope there is another book in this series because this book does not close this story at all.

hmmmm

Like the storyline but come on there are so many men in this series with the name John. I also got so sick of everyone calling each other “Dear”! LOL This should really be edited. Loved the storyline though but beware lots of triggers.
