娜拉一定要由一个受过杂技训练，而且会跳舞的女演员来饰演。她还应该能够根据剧情的要求表演体操，做的时候是否专业并不重要，完全可以显得笨拙一点。艾娃的言行应该总是显得有点儿冷漠和玩世不恭。

So what DID happen to Nora after she left Torvald, The Idiot With Capital Letters?

Well, according to the bright and cheerful vision of Jelinek, she met all the other IDIOTS WITH EVER MORE CAPITAL LETTERS, got pushed around, tried to push back, and in the end, she returned to the idiot she knew and spent some time unhappily ever after - or at least until a different kind of author feels mercy and is willing to enter the battle of intertextuality and rewrite the life of Nora again...

May I suggest something more easily digestible next time? I don't care if it is totally unrealistic, as long as it soothes the nerves - exposed too long to way too much realism...

Couldn't some talented author make Nora a healthy, happy single mum with a good, mature relationship to her three children and a safe financial situation and a fulfilling job (not a teacher, please!) in a nice apartment with lots of friends and books, and maybe a lover that comes to visit on Friday nights and then leaves again after a decent evening together?

I am fully aware that Elfriede Jelinek is not the person to write that abysmally bad piece of comfort fiction, but just for once, I think I would like to believe in the escapism of bad fiction becoming a perfect life...

Wouldn't it be loverly?

прочла три пьесы (burgtheater к сожалению нигде не могу найти): клара ш, болезнь или современные женщины, что случилось после того как нора оставила своего мужа. ВОСТОРГ. я не знаю что еще сказать это просто экстатически хорошо. это барби за сорок лет до барби с кровищей и марксистами. подрывная литература. безумно горжусь что я ее отрыла (а у елинек так-то нобелевка!)

Sie könnten beispielsweise für öffentliche Ordnung sorgen. Sie tun es schon. Sie könnten Verkehr regeln! Wenn Sie nur wollten.
BENNO: Meine Frau befriedigt mich mehr. Und besser als eine Uniform es je könnte. Auch Steuerberater zu sein, macht mir Spaß. Ich nehme Sachen auf und lege sie woanders hin.

Leído originalmente en castellano, Jelinek es sin duda una autora por descubrir. En esta relectura de Casa de muñecas, (el título en castellano es "Lo que pasó cuando Nora dejó a su marido, o los Pilares de la sociedad") se aprecia una ironía sensacional, una contextualización y apreciación del feminismo blanco burgués. También es tremendamente irónico, y habiendo leído el de Ibsen antes, se aprecian ciertos aspectos formales y guiños muy sutiles.
