Secrets of the Flame

Rate this book
My last year of med school, the best year ever because of her--my future changed forever because of her...

From the moment I saw her, I knew there was something between us not many people find.
Passionate nights, stolen kisses throughout our busy days; she and I had the

same goals--goals that would end the special connection we'd found.
Leaving her behind proved to be the hardest thing I'd ever done.
Finding her one day in a Seattle hospital, tending to one of my best friends,
proved that old flame had never completely gone out.

No longer the easygoing, easy-to-love girl I'd known years ago, she'd become guarded.

My only question--why?

Redundant story.

This was a redundant story. They were a couple in college, but he was a senior, and she a freshman, so it was short. Six years later, they meet up again. They keep repeating things for over half the book, with him all. Let's get back together like before, and she's all no can't. Then and all of a sudden, they're on the same page. Then we have a bizarre twist thrown in when there's a child kidnapped by a disgruntled parent of a patient.
Not well thought out. Boring characters. A few funny moments though.

Secrets of the Flame

You got to love characters that come to life in so many different ways!
You got to love it when you can peg a character for the type of person they will turn out to be!
You can see how life can be for some people and it's good and wonderful and for some it is a struggle for others.
This story has surprised me!

If a book could have a flavor this would be a vanilla!
I do recommend this book!

This was good. About 2 people who met and had romance while in college. He was a senior and she was a in her first year and they were both going to be doctors. They knew they would have to part as each career would need full concentration. This book is about the secret she was keeping from him as they meet again years later on a purely chance matter. Lots of passion, and emotional at times. Recommend.

This was about 2doctors who meet up later in life. It would have been quite good but it was very repetitive so I lost the will to go on. I did read to the end but didn't really enjoy it.

The story was there but some of the writing choices were just not it. Too much hiding and then the ending was just…weird
