Funny reading this and Bleach at the same time you can tell Gege Akutami got inspiration from that series. Saying that, this volume kicks it into fucking HIGH GEAR and our heroes aren't playing around anymore.
After the surprising and twisted end events of the last volume we have our hero Itadori trying to reach out to his buddy Junpei to save him. Then Mahito, a evil piece of shit demon, shows up and messes it all up. Now Itadori along with one of his teachers must face off against this creature but together can they stop it?
What I feel Jujutsu has over a lot of battle manga is the way the battles flow. It's easy to follow, grand, and honestly brutal. A lot of battle mangas try TOO much and instead get cluttered. So with this volume basically being 3/4ths fighting we get to view some amazing moments. on top of that Itadori gets to grow as a character and his motivations grow as well.
The ending slows it down a lot and kind of hurts the pacing a bit. But overall, this was easily the best volume of the bunch. Give me more like this. A 4 out of 5.
