Excellent overview of the album that many Rolling Stones fans consider to be the epic album of their career, as written by author John Perry, who writes of details of these recordings and the stories behind them without becoming mired in the sensationalism present in other biographies related to this period, making it of extreme value to musicians and others less concerned with the legendary episodes as the actual recordings and how they came to be. Highly recommended to all interested in both the band at this juncture and the album in particular.
