3 ⭐️ just because I really felt like even though the baby wasn’t hers she was going to love her more…the way she left her behind at the end and the way she was treated throughout made me so sad 😭 also not what I expected based on previous books and I feel like it didn’t match up with everything she wanted before?? But I’m curious to see how this finishes up in the next couple books
just as good as the last 7 books. I love that recap at the beginning. tho the story is less tense now, but i still feel connected to the MC. the story still make me want to continue and find out whats going on.
I don’t feel like much actually happened in this book.. definitely compared to the previous instalments!
I did appreciate Miranda as a character, though I do question how easy it was for her to show D her ‘house of horrors’ if you will. I don’t think people trust others that easily! But I would be interested to see more of her!
My previous prediction was correct! Bliss does not belong to D and Stacy had Ace killed (accidentally I think, but nonetheless)

WHAT IS HAPPENING 😅 I knew this baby wasn’t actually Decide’s and had my suspicions about Stacey. I’m sad that Decide made the choice of alcoholism and going on a manhunt for revenge instead of being a mother to a child. Things could have went differently for her ❤️. The ending BBQ scene is not one I saw coming 🤮 Sick to my stomach. On to the next!
Well holy balls that escalated, didn't it!! I can't stop with this series, it's so freaking great also love the re-cap at the start. Well now I must go read #9.
This was a good read following on with the story of Deicide growing up with a killer father and how she grew into a mother herself etc. It wasn't as dark as the previous read in this series but still has a good storyline and has a disturbing chapter towards the end. Deicide learns a lot as she has grown and has got into a lot of dreaded situations but has also grown stronger with them, with nothing gazing her or stopping her. But with the grief of looking ace still playing on her mind until she can seek her own justice and revenge,, nothing else matters. Bliss her daughter has to come second until her mind is at rest and then she can be a proper mum. That is what she believes until she starts to uncover truths and things take a horrible turn for Diecide. The only thing she can trust to help with her pain and grief is the alcohol, to numb the pain and help deal with all the crazy revelations. Great storyline and follow up on the series.Recommended.
3.5 stars! Still good but I fear it may be losing some momentum. I’m so ready to have this series done but I am enjoying it even if this didn’t wow me like some of the other books
This book didn't follow the upward trend the books before it. Deicide is INSUFFERABLE in this book. I'm assuming that was the point? I understand that it makes sense she would have substance abuse issues after all she has gone through and abandoning her daughter isn't too out of character either. I fucking hate how much she talks about wanting to kill Alec. I get she's been through so much trauma and she's probably emotionally stunted but, it drives me insane that she doesn't seem to get why her dad and stacey are upset. It's also surprising how long it takes her to believe that the baby isn't hers.... When she heard all the shit they were saying in the last book, her size, and Deicides paranoia and trust issues. I feel as though her dad (at least the version we met in the first two books) would simply not allow the level of disrespect and Deicides alcoholism. It is strange how nice and gentle he is with her now considering he was horrifically abusive when she was a child. The ending of the book made sense to me and was semi satisfying

Oh Deicide… you sweet, sweet messed-up soul. Or should I say woman? 💔 Her world is a carousel of loss—family members keep dying, disappearing, or getting eaten—and yet she clings to them with heartbreaking loyalty.
She stays. And stays. And yep… stays some more, while her inner voice screams leave. In this installment, Deicide discovers her baby isn’t hers (cue the torture of the real mother), spirals into full-blown alcoholism, and gets locked in a room by her pops to sober up after Gram dies.
Enter Alec: the “rescuer” who may or may not be worse than the chaos she’s escaping. Together they flee—possibly after Deicide kills her pop’s girlfriend—and Alec, in a stroke of brilliance, steals Gram’s corpse so they can get high on embalming fluid. Yep. That happens. 🫠
This series is twisted in every direction imaginable. I’m still reading just to see how it all ends, but it’s not gripping me the way it used to.
I am captivated by her story. Such a hard life she's had to live. I felt the first book was SO raw, unlike anything I had ever read and this book brought the same feeling back. I am so here for Deicide's character development. From the very first installment I've been hooked I Sea's books. The Sky Verdict series, the Damon Dahmer series, and more. I haven't been able to stop reading her books. If you like extreme horror, look no further. Read all of her books and keep up with her releases! If I could make one request ~ I would love to see what Sea could do with a longer winded book. I would love to throw myself into a 300+ page book by Sea. I think the character development would be out of this world! LOVE THE SERIES & CANT WAIT TO READ MORE!!
Everything in between. I knew it was Stacy and figured that Bliss wasn't her baby. But it made for a good story and adventure to get there. Killing Alecs old cell mate that was a pedophile, chasing him to California, meeting a girl that portraits with her captives blood. All wrapped together with Grams death and Pops trying to send Deicide to rehab. Which ends up being his kill room. All and all im glad she finally killed Stacy. Didn't like her from the start, and not much Pops does surprises me. He's a narcissist. Im also not shocked Deicide left Bliss behind. After all its not her baby. All wrapped up tight at the end with consuming Grams and getting high off embalming fluid. Good grief. On to the next book. Im assuming is from Pops points of view. Hoping. K bye.

Deicide is now legal. Unfortunately, her life is NOT improving. After losing a loved one she begins to question everything and everyone around her. Immersed in drugs and alcohol, her life plummets to what one believes will be the bottom until one more trainwreck happens. She finds out yet another secret about her life. This secret will truly change her life forever - her rage this time in uncontrollable and leads to an action that she may never recover from. With only two novellas left in this series it is guaranteed that Deicide's story is going to end with a bang somehow someway. And Pops? What is he going to do now? There is not much more that he can hide. Or is there?
Deicide has more growing up to do! Even with beautiful, smart little Bliss at home, she couldn't get out of her own way to project the love she had for Ace unto Bliss and heal. No she went on a one-woman man hunt of revenge to become more confused than ever! I always suspected Stacy and her motives and am now still skeptical over Pops involvement with Ace's death as well. On pins and needles I'm looking forward to the next chapter in D's life. Yet I'll check out the Reality TV book along the way.
Book 8 chilled out a bit—not as much action, but we finally get some answers. Decide finds out some big stuff, and honestly… she’s a total mess (murderer, cannibal, all of it), but I can’t stop watching her spiral.
Things go really bad at the end. Like, what just happened?? And now I need to know what Pops has to say, because whatever’s coming next is gonna be chaos.
3.5 stars for weird feelings, messed-up people, and somehow still being obsessed.
I do not care anymore at this point; I know, I know Deicide is an unstable girl, considering her upbringing; but there is a limit to credibility, and this has been crossed on book 7 in my opinion.
I literally have two books left, so I'm going through with this (I'm also actually curious that the next one is about Pops). I can feel the twist coming, and I'm scared I will hate it. Let's hope not.
Decide and her messed up life. The truth is so hard to digest but also going to your relative's barbeque. I never so this coming. Alec is more messed up then the whole family. I will always smile at any barbeque that I go to in the near future. Maybe share the secret meat and a piece of the story.
Ok so this one is a bit more palatable with D a bit more mature at times! But she still an idiot well she does need some mental help. The book seems to make some sense and I really feel for Pops / Andy. How he want to raise a daughter and then start a new life and D just wants to ruin everything.
I could tell this book was meant to draw some lines in the sand for D as she figures out her complicated life with her family. The ending was beautifully disturbing and I really don't know where the story is going to pivot from here. We shall see. Not the best in the series but clearly important for the future.
the author is just drawing things out at this point but girl.. she wanted a baby sooo bad, gets one and then leaves her behind at the end? the author thinks adding witty author notes at the end makes up for weird character development. i understand deicide being obsessed with revenge but i at least think she would’ve taken the baby with her.. like that lowkey pissed me off.

FS: “Why would anyone live way out here? There’s nothing here but fields and farm animals. It is pretty. Almost reminds me of the faction, the time I spent outdoors."
LS: “Trust me, lil sis. Just relax. The fun is only beginning. Everything will be alright.” Yes, I believe it will be."
I would give this book a higher rating but 8 books in and there are so many grammatical errors in every book, even in the authors note of this one that it frustrates me. The story itself is great but the errors are driving me crazy. I’m going to finish the series because I have to know what happens, just needed to say that.
I would say this is the best one by far, deicide being in her own head all the time is still annoying because she askes herself so many questions and needs to slow down, but the revenge was great and seeing her finally stand up to Andy properly, glad the next book is called “pops” cosni wana know what happens to bliss

Lots happened in this book but it didn't strike me as particularly dark, certainly not compared to the others. I feel so sorry for Deicide when she learns some truths and i quite understand her response. I'm looking forward to the next book being released.
It was alright I suppose. We're eight books into this series and it is what it is at this point. The gore was very minimal (for a Sea book) and in my opinion she's getting a lot better at character writing. I'll read the next one of course, they're short and quick.
I love this series, although I wish they were longer and more detailed but honestly an enjoyable story. As a reader from book one I can't wait for the next installment to see what's in store for Deicide next.
This one was not very good! Reading about her drunkenness is boring and so much was far fetched. The bliss storyline was way too predictable and so was Stacy’s. I hope the next book is better. The best parts of the series are with Deiaside and her Pops. Leave out the idiot Alex!
I was blown away by the twist that Alec revealed in this book. I do agree that Deicide needed help, but again I think it was gone about the wrong way. The ending was disturbing, but here we go, onto the next.
Once again I finished this book in 1 day. I can’t get enough of D, Pops and Alec. I feel sorry for D. She really was dealt a shitty hand in life and it just keeps getting shittier. I’m holding out hope that the series ends with her at least finding some type of normalcy.
