But he and I share a secret: we hooked up in Vegas a few months ago.

In the cold light of day, he demands to keep our fling under wraps.

That’s the thing about passion and secrets, though…

Put enough pressure on any situation and it’s bound to explode.

A breathless longing begins to grow between us.

Gabe + Luna + One Night in Vegas = Hotness...

And an awkward introduction later when she discovers he's going to be her boss on her summer internship.

Gabe...broody, mentally self-flagellatating hottie who may need something or someone to shock him out of his self imposed punishment.

Luna...a seemingly flighty, shallow, Pollyannaesque, rich girl who isn't quite as selfish or as shallow as she seems...or as clueless or oblivious.

I just love Luna. She doesn't let much get her down. Even when it could. She knows when to listen to the girls if they say the mope is over. But even the things that could have gotten her down, she had already started working out possible plans or solutions. She is definitely a glass half full girl. Even if she needs a good cry first.

And I just can't resist the moody broody guys. Gabe is a good guy. That's his problem. He made one bad choice and keeps punishing himself for it. Thankfully, his feisty sister is there to remind him to get his head out of his @$$.

Devoured this story in one sitting in like four hours!! So good!! Couldn't put it down!!

I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

What would you do if you found out your one night stand was your new boss? What about if said boss didn't want you there?
This is exactly what happens to Luna in this opposites-attract romance.

Luna is a med student that comes from a wealthy background. Gabe's family owns the boat that Luna is working on. Him and his family have always worked hard to make ends meet.

There angst between these two is EVERYTHING. I enjoyed how Luna was able to break Gabe's walls down bit by bit.

Both Gabe and Luna have their own demons they are battling. While I loved everything else in this story, I would have liked to have seen more reconciliation of each of their problems between the two of them. These were huge issues for both of them and I felt as if they didn't REALLY face them between the two of them as much as I would have liked.

All in all, I really enjoyed the story. These two characters were perfect for each other and their chemistry was incredible!

Luna and Gabe have a fun one night hook up while partying in Vegas thinking that things end there until Luna starts her medical internship and when she meets the captain of the ship she will interning on it’s none other then Gabe who is not as open as he was during there hook up. Gabe is dealing with alot of emotions involving his past and his views on Luna aren’t who she really is. This was a fun, sweet and steamy read

I have enjoyed most of Vivian Wood's work, and she’s usually a one-click author for me. I received an advanced copy of Sleeping With My Boss, but I'm still undecided about where this story ranks amongst her other books. It started off very sexy with the mysterious one-night stand, but then tapered off a bit. Things felt slow to me, and not in the slow-burn way that I usually love.

The hero, Gabe was supposed to come off as grumpy, but he was more like a little uptight and very snappy. I realize that he was still mourning the loss of his fiancée, but still… I loved Luna's sweet, carefree nature and sunny disposition, even though it came off as a little less than mature sometimes. Maybe it’s just me, but a lot of the interactions between Gabe and Luna made them seem much younger than they actually were; more like teenagers. At least, that's how it felt in the beginning. I also didn’t find their chemistry as strong as I would have liked. The sex did heat up a lot with them, but it didn’t reach the “Vivian Wood” sexiness and scorch level that I’m used to.

I was a little worried about the foreshadowed conflict; especially with our hero's default setting being grumpy, the circumstances surrounding his fiancée’s death, and who the pompous, jerk/antagonist was. Call me sensitive, but I didn't want the hero to say or do anything that couldn't be forgiven because of a misunderstanding. It didn’t appease my nervousness either when Luna chose to not come clean with Gabe from the get-go about something that wouldn’t have been her fault in the first place. And to be honest, that whole thing with Dr. Jerkface was just asinine, and he was nothing more than a lecherous bully and a first-grade jack@$$.

Despite my misgivings about Gabe and Luna throughout the story, I did agree that they were a pretty good couple. When they both finally opened up with each other about their pasts, it was nice seeing them realize that they could relate to each other in a flipside/situational opposites kind of way. I was glad to see that things worked out for them.

My first book by this author and it started off well but went sideways midstream and ended all over the place.

Also, I know authors often don’t have much power in book covers but this one was full scale bait and switch. Luna, the female lead is petite and blonde.

When we first meet Luna, she is sexually confident and Ok with nudity and her body. Then there are future sex scenes with the same guy, Gabriel, where’s it’s almost like she’s supposed to be a virgin. The writing implies it’s their first time having sex when it’s double digits by this point.

There’s an over the top unreal amount of female blushing.

The title is also misleading. Yes, he’s her boss temporarily for an internship.

By the end of the book, the story felt cobbled together and not even by the same person.I won’t be reading anymore of this series or author.

Gabe and Luna are on fire!

This is the second stand-a-lone book in Vivian Wood’s enemies to lover’s series, but we did meet Luna in the first book, where, as a result of one solid night of partying in Vegas, her best friend Cate ended up married to Luca, Luna’s older brother. I loved her integrity, loyalty and call-your-best-friend-on-her-sh!t personality. This is going to set her in good stead for this book!

She’s going to need all of her mettle because during Vegas party night, Luna had a hot and steamy night of her own, and she’s now realising, that what happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay there. She’s just been employed for her summer medical internship, and the hot intense man that she spent the night with is going to be her new boss.

Luna was great. Yeah, she is rich, but I don’t believe she was spoilt other than to accept that a certain high standard of living was normal. She’s also had her own demons to battle, and by her own words, she’s also fashionable, but not dumb. So, if Mr Grumpy and Handsome thinks he can tell her not to accept the internship, the last placement available for the summer, then he’s going to have to suck it up, because she’s not going anywhere. Where her medical expertise was needed, she was the epitome of professionalism, and my respect for her rose even more.

Gabriel was in a bad place when a beautiful siren approached him in Vegas and knocked him off the pedestal of anger and betrayal that he had imposed upon himself. He spent an amazing night with her, then shamefully regretted his behaviour for abandoning the year-long situation he had applied to himself. As handsome and sexy as he seemed to be, I just couldn’t warm to him, although his loyalty to most of his family and the business was to be admired.

If there was one area I wanted more of, and this is because I’m inquisitive, it’s just that I wanted to know what happened with Michelle. I’ll say no more because I don’t want to spoil stuff, but I really wanted to know how, and why???

Ms Wood did a superb job of ramping that chemistry between Luna and Gabe. Wow, there was plenty of hot sex and intimate moments of emotion between these two. I found it hard to put the book down when real life interfered, so readers who love Vivian Woods will not be disappointed. 4 Stars 🔥🔥🔥

Loved this one! A definite page turner!

Luna is sure she will never fall in love again and is just trying to get by the best she can. When she misses out on choosing her summer internship and is left with no choice but to interview at the only place left, she does not expect to come face to face with her Vegas one night stand. He is someone she would never forget but his abrupt rude manner has her feeling like she has just been slapped in the face. How can she deal with this man everyday for a month? Somehow she will have to make it work.

Love, loss and guilt all factor into this story and what a good one it is. I can’t wait for the next book.

I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.

3.25 Stars This is sweet and sexy story with some drama. The plot is nothing new. Gabe’s Vegas hook-up ends being his new employee. Two things that makes this story different from hundreds others with this plot— the setting and who the millionaire is. Their “office” is a yacht. Gabe is the boat’s captain and her boss, but Luna is the one with the money. She is doctor and her parents are super rich, with even distant Royal blood.
I enjoyed the descriptions of the beautiful Alaskan coastline. Their relationship was very steamy, but actually there were too many sex scenes.

Luna comes from a rich family and she is studying medicine. Because she has been sick she was to late for a internship and the only one left is on a cruise to Alaska. But is isn’t easy when the boss an captain on the ship is Gabe a one night stand from Vegas. The chemistry between the two of them is strong but Gabe is having trouble with trust because of his ex. Can he trust Luna or is she having secrets that can destroy his dream. I loved this book. Romantic but also very emotional and so exciting. I really enjoyed reading it

If you're looking for an easy, light and predictable read, you'll probably like this and I'm sure the book would serve as a great palette cleanser for a lot of readers but it just wasn't for me. I found there was quite a bit of repetition in the book, particularly around apparent issues that seemed more forced rather than dramatic. *Warning* Due to the issues I had with the story line, there are spoilers below and my review might turn into a rant. Consider yourself warned.

Luna is wealthy and has lived a life of privilege. When severe endometritis knocked her out of med school for a while, she finds that there's only one spot left for a possible internship: a yacht company that takes wealthy clients on tours of the Alaskan coast. Since a summer internship is a must-have to get a desirable residency during the next phase of her career as a doctor, Luna signs up and is under the employment of Gabe, the grumpy but incredibly handsome captain of the boat that's also his family's business. The issue? He's also the guy she had a smoking hot (I'm assuming - it faded to black) one night stand with in Vegas at the start of the book and who slunk out the next morning before before she woke up. Oh, and he hates rich people. So if you've read the blurb, you pretty much know what you're going to get and it's highly predictable where the story's going to go. He'll be grumpy, try to brush her off or get her to quit, she'll stick around because she needs the internship on her CV, there'll be a spark there and they won't be able to keep their bits in their pants. Yeah? Add to that some additional drama where Gabe is entering a regatta held by the local richies at the local club that he's desperate to win because he'll get the rights to ship said wealthy-pants customers around and they have deep pockets. There's his arch nemesis standing in the way and secretly trying to strike a deal with Luna for her to steal Gabe's regatta plans/yacht path for the race because he's her supervisor responsible for placements at her med school. Naturally. Le sigh.

So, considering I knew what I was getting myself into, why did I only give it 2 stars? Well, the writing was fine apart from some typos, but there were several points of wannabe drama throughout the book that not only were brought up regularly, but simply weren't worth the angst they desperately tried to drum up. Firstly, there was the working contradiction that was Luna. Gabe was against the idea of her because she was rich and he was poor. Aside from the fact that she was written as the stereotypical poor little rich girl, all of the supposed issues and stereotypes that the reader is supposed to buy into about her having money simply weren't there. Yeah, she liked to shop and drove a Porsche and was flippant about how rich she was, but if it wasn't for her bringing up the fact she had oodles of money, you wouldn't have known as for the most part, she was kind, friendly and compassionate. Leading on from this, Luna makes it clear that she's had to work to get into med school, keep up with grades, etc. only to find out further along in the book that her med school position was gained over more worthy applicants because money and daddy pulled out the cheque book and bought her a spot. Does she get indignant about this? Nah. I think if anything, that annoyed me more than the whole 'girl got money' schtick. Oh, and while also emphasising that she might have money but it's character that sets people apart from one another, rich or poor, the issue with her supervisor, after being carried throughout most of the book, is solved in two seconds when she gets on the phone and has a cry to her daddy who clicks his fingers and gets that guy fired. Just like that. After bleating on about how she's a person of character who won't take what happened lying down, the author didn't even bother to have her come up with a plan to bring down the enemy and resorted to the very lame rich girl stereotype that was one of the issues to begin with (that, again, the reader wouldn't even have been aware of from Luna's character traits unless it hadn't been clearly articulated separately and shoved in the story line to begin with).

My second issue/rant? Luna's constant carrying on about her endo diagnosis meaning she might not be able to have children in the future. I mean, I get that it's an emotional issue but she became upset to the point of having to cry or leave literally every time a kid popped up in the book. Sees a child at an ice cream shop? Cries. Her best friend is trying for a baby? Sad. Best friend then is pregnant, apparently by the sheer force of just mentioning it a few chapters previously? Luna goes and cries in her Porsche. For real. It was ridiculous and made her seem really immature considering she was early to mid-twenties. And then to find out later in the book that she didn't even know if her endo was a problem and if it would affect her chances at becoming pregnant (she'd just been told having a child MIGHT be more difficult), I seriously feared that my eyeballs may never return to their normal position in my head because I had rolled them back so far it could have been critical. As Bluey would say: For real life. So this big, massive issue that's dragged on throughout the book...probably isn't even an issue anyway. Well, there's a few hours of my life I'll never get back again.

The third inconsistency for me was the ridiculous story line with Gabe's ex that the reader never actually gets the full story about. Sure, we're given bread crumbs here and there in the form of self-reflections and rants, but it was another big blow up over nothing. Gabe's fiancée, behind his back, was banging other men, taking drugs and in debt up to her eyeballs. Why? Who even knows - not me, and I've read the book. Long story short, she committed suicide. So as a result, the reader is made to suffer alongside Gabe, who's now perpetually angry and grumpy. He's set himself up in some kind of ludicrous year of mourning that he berates himself over once he gets the hots for Luna, because he can't even stick to his commitment to be sad over someone, to be honest, who sounded like kind of a gross human being as well as a terrible girlfriend. We're told that she did these terrible things but then also have to suffer through Hallmark-esque flashbacks of how everything reminds him of her and the super-dooper happy future they were going to have. You know, apart from her banging everything that moved (including his arch-nemesis), racking up debts and just generally being a garbage person. But hey, he looooooved her. Yawn. His dedication to his dead fiancée just made no sense. The anger and grumpiness? Sure. The 'my life is now over even though I was basically engaged to a stranger who treated me terribly'? Not so much. He literally said '...I am not ready to give up mourning Michelle (while he's been sleeping with Luna this whole time). I'm not the kind of person who just abandons his dead ex-fiancée when someone new and tempting comes along... I don't want to be someone that forgets people that easily.' What the mother trucker is the go with that? Mate, you need to talk to someone because you are INSANE.

There were a couple of other little things. Two of the male characters calling Luna 'little girl' in a derogatory way made me stabby. The fact that Gabe and Luna were 'enemies' (they weren't, really - one just had a hang up about money) and then suddenly Gabe went from being thorny to protective in an instant. The story line trying desperately to make it sound like Luna having money and Gabe having little made them two completely different and unrelated species was almost laughable. Weird, baseless comments about Luna's character from Gabe along the lines of 'because you're wealthy you must act or think like this' actually did make me laugh. I can see it affecting their relationship and what they have in common, but it was made out like one was an alien or something. Clutch your pearls, readers! One of the characters is wealthy. GASP! That being said, it was nice that it was the female lead that had the wealth, for once. And because I've obviously triggered myself into rant mode, their fight at the end of the book was also silly. Gabe's quote towards the end when he's considering that maybe he needs to let Luna's little omission of truth slide: 'Are all women flawed in the same way?' Because his sister said that all women have guile. Shut the front door, because I am so done. Those evil, evil, guile-filled womenz corrupting our menfolk. Sheesh. And on top of him being a bit of a tool around this, there's no decent grovel.

There were things in the book I liked, though. Luna was assertive and I liked both her and Gabe's characters, aside from the ridiculous issues above that seemed forced not only on the story line, but on them as well. The part of the story line focussing on their boat trip around Alaska was cool.

Oh, and a pet hate of mine - Luna is blonde but the cover model is not. And to end on a funny tidbit: I just realised I wrote my whole review calling Luna 'Cate'. I think that was a friend or something. I don't even care at this point lol.

All Luna wants is to be a Doctor and have a family of her own. But life has a funny way of getting in the way and taking away the one thing she wants more than anything.

Out on a new Internship she sees the one night stand she met in Vegas and the greeting doesn’t go as planned.

Gabe’s life took a turn and he thought he would just move on. Yeah right!

Gabe and Luna both have struggles they need to deal with and what a perfect way than to dealing with it together.

I thought it was well written and detailed. Definitely worth the read.

Just because this is a boss/employee romance, don’t let that fool you, because this one has a fresh premise. Med school graduate, Luna Leone, takes a summer internship on a cruising yacht in hopes of getting a prime residency placement in the fall.

Captain Gabe Smith has a few goals. Mourn his fiancée for a year after her death, get past her betrayal, lies and secrets, and win the regatta to give his family's yacht tour company a much needed cash infusion. Aside from a Vegas one-night stand three months ago, women aren’t on his radar. That is, until his ship's new medic turns out to be the girl from his one-night stand.

If you’ve read this author recently, you may remember Luna as Luca’s sister and Cate's BFF. Luna is wealthy, affluent and beautiful, but she's also strong-willed, determined, and a hard worker. She's been hurt in the past and had her dreams for the future dented, but she's focusing on her friends and her career.

Gabe was devastated when his fiancée died. Her lies and secrets that he discovered after her death have really done a number on him. Yet he's still determined to mourn her for a year, no matter how appealing Luna is or how much chemistry they share. But if we've learned nothing else from romance novels, we all know fate often has other ideas it puts into play while laughing at our own plans.

I adore these two together. Luna and Gabe seem like polar opposites, but they find out they have more in common than they thought, and their journey on the road to their HEA is the best kind of entertainment! The secondary characters are terrific, with Luna's girl posse, Gabe's colorful sister, and a bad guy you'll love to hate. If you’re looking for a humorous, heartfelt, hot romance with a unique setting that will give you hours of enjoyment, you'll love Luna and Gabe's story!

Gabe and Luna meet at a club in Vegas and things get very hot and sexy fast. Luna seems to be very confident and assertive with what she wants and she wants a night with Gabe. Months later she ends up working for him along a boat for her internship in medical school.
Gabe has recently suffered not just the loss of his fiancé who killed herself, but also finds out how much she lied to him during the relationship. He gives himself 1 full year to grieve but Luna makes it very hard for him to stick to it. He is broody and not trusting of people who come from money.
Luna is his opposite. She is carefree, fun, and even though she is rich and loves spending money, she isn’t selfish and she cares a lot for other people. Luna’s last relationship ended after her endometriosis diagnosis.
While aboard the ship they try to resist anything happening between them but their chemistry is too much and they can no longer stay away from each other. I loved their relationship that started off sexual but you could see how much they grew to care for each other with each and every interaction. “If anybody else saw me like this, so naked and utterly desperate, I would die. But I look at Gabe and the desire in his expression emboldens me.”
What an entertaining book to read! The thing I loved most about the book was a personal reason. Luna and her endometriosis made me connect with her more than any other character. While I do not share the same diagnosis, I share the same fertility struggles and her journey was written the most believable than any other I have read before. When she says: “ I have money. I have a career. I have guys. That should be enough” I truly understand her and how she feels like she should have enough in her life to be happy but she knows she is missing something. The pain when her brother and best friend announce they are pregnant, I felt her pain, I know that pain.

I read an advanced copy for an honest review.

It all started at Luna's birthday bash in Las Vagas. She meets a brooding mysterious stranger and has an incredible night of passion. (After all what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas).

Flash forward several months and Luna is scrambling to get an internship for the summer, any intership. Due to the fact she was late doing this, there is only one place left, being a medic on a small cruise ship to Alaska. Imagine her surprise when she sees that the captain of the ship is non other than her mysterious stranger, Gabe!

Gabe is brooding for many reasons. His fiance had died 6 months ago and he has imposed a year long mourning for her. (Even though she left behind a bunch of things that left cause not to be mourned for). His tour company is struggling and he needs to win this regatta. This last thing he needs is a reminder of his infidelity (in his mind) to his mourning working with him!

Yes there is chemistry between these two. However in a time of "Me Too" I'm not sure if this was the best subject to be wring about. Also both Luna and Gabe both had wlls up and really did not trust the other, some other than a physical relationship, I'm not sure how it was able to jump to feelings of love. They both kept secrets Gabe kept beating himself up, anytime he felt he strayed from his late fiance's memory, etc.

The author went "Heavy" again. In her previous book, about Luca and Cate, she kept the story light and used humor. I think that is her strength. I hope she goes back to that type of writing again.

Sleeping With My Boss by Vivian Wood is another great romance story by Vivian Wood. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Luna is a rich, cheerful beautiful young woman who is out on the town celebrating her birthday at a club in Vegas with her friends. When she sees a broody sexy man, she becomes sexually attracted to him. Knowing she would never see him again, she makes a move towards him and ends up having a passionate night with this sexy man. Luna is a medical student who misses her deadline for her internship, the only one that is available is for a medic on a yacht heading to Alaska. Gabe is dealing with trust issues after his fiance's death one that was filled with secrets and lies as well as his need to win a regatta event in order to salvage his struggling yacht charter company. When Luna goes for her interview she is shocked to see her new boss is her mystery man she slept with. Now these two will begin a rocky relationship on the high seas trying to hide the chemistry between them while dealing with trust issues. Can these two overcome the past and give love a try or will it prevent them from being together. This story was full of passion as well as serious moments with a little humor thrown in. I highly recommend this romance story about love in the workplace. Well done Vivian you allow your readers to become invested in the lives of the characters with each book you write! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

What a great story! This is a fun, flirty, and sexy story that encapsulates the very essence of romance. I love Gabe Byrne and Luna Leone’s story. Luna is very wealthy and she and her girlfriends went to Vegas to celebrate Luna’s birthday. When Luna meets Gabe in Vegas—he smiled. They got drunk. They flirted. They hooked up. It was only supposed to be one night. As the cliché goes—what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Well, not necessarily so because we all know there is more to the story. What can go awry when Luna interviews with a boat charter company for a summer medical internship—Gabe Byrne! What were the chances that Luna would run into Gage again? Then again… What were the chances that Gabe would wind up being her new sexy boss? Being out on the waters for three months—you should never mix business with pleasure… right? Whoops… Meet Luna’s new boss, Gabe who is very handsome, tall, swoon-worthy, moody, possessive, arrogant, commanding, and a dirty-talker. Because of Gabe’s previous relationship, he does not want to do another relationship or promises or feelings. Gabe and Luna are drawn together with both of them finding something in each other that had been lacking in their own relationship. Will sparks continue to fly between Luna and Gabe while on the boat, or was it all but one night of passion? Read what really happened in Vegas and on the boat—what a conundrum!!

Two worlds colliding... Wealth and middle class...
Two characters who are broken by their past ... who have to accept the loss of a person respectively the loss of the possibility to choose their personal circumstances ...
This discrepancy is explosive enough in itself ...
Add to that a seriously scorching hot chemistry that makes lightning strikes seem like child's play, and the fact that they know each other from the past, and you get the fulminant backdrop of this phenomenal book.

Luna and Gabriel are these two characters who struggle to regain their footing after fate has dealt them each a devastating blow ...
Forced to work together by a further intervention of the traitorous goddess of fate, the two fight against their now more than ever forbidden attraction ...

Ms. Wood knows, like almost no one else, how to emphasize the character traits of her protagonists to make them even more authentic and lovable with their little idiosyncrasies. The same applies to the plot line. She always finds that certain extra and that extra twist in her plot, that other writers sometimes miss, to make a story that has already been told in a hundred other versions stand out from the rest.
I loved this book so much. It is exciting, moving and entertaining, warm and relatable.
It's unlike any other book I've ever read by Ms Wood before, a real page-turner that I highly recommend!

Luna Leone lives in Seattle. She is in medical school. She goes to Las Vegas with her best friends Cate and Harper. Her brother, who is married to Cate, and his two friends are also there. Luna is drinking and having fun but then she sees a dark, handsome man brooding. She approaches him and they end up having a fling that night.

Luna finds out that she needs an internship and the last qualified position available is with Aurora Borealis Charters. She would be on the boat as it travels up and down the Alaskan coastline. She meets with the owner who hires her and then he introduces his son who is the actual captain of the yacht. It is Gabe, her fling from Las Vegas.

Gabriel is stunned and wants Luna to keep their Las Vegas fling a secret. He has trust issues and is supposed to be in a self-imposed mourning period for his ex-fiance Michelle. Michelle ended up lying and cheating on Gabe and was in so much trouble she killed herself instead of asking Gabe for help.

Will Luna and Gabe be able to work on the boat together? Will the previous sparks fly between them? Will Gabe be able to trust Luna? Will Luna be able to confide in Gabe?

Sleeping with my Boss is another great book by Vivian Wood. This story is about Gabe and Luna. This story is told from duel point of views which is my favorite writing style. I like knowing what both characters are thinking.

Luna and Gabe hooked up for a one night stand in Las Vegas. Both were dealing with personal struggles. Luna has a bubbly happy exterior, and Gabe is quiet and broody.

Luna and Gabe hooked up one night in Vegas. The didn't exchange names. It was one night to get rid of distractions. A few months later Luna is signed up to work on a yacht for her internship to become a nurse. When she starts her job she realizes Gabe is her new boss and the captain of the ship. They keep their one night a secret from the others, and deal with their feelings during the trip.

As the trip progresses their feelings progress as well. Both characters have great growth during the book and they help each other in the process. I really enjoyed this book and the characters.

I loved Luna and Gabe. Everything started in Vegas when Luna’s brother took all of them to Vegas to celebrate. Luna, enjoying herself, looks up and sees Gabe; she is hypnotized by how gorgeous he is and decides she wants him. One thing leads to another and these two tumble into one night of passion against Gabe better judgement. These two both have their baggage, Gabe is mourning the loss of his cheating fiance and Luna is battling something that has changed her life forever, at least that’s what she thinks. She has her dream of being a doctor, she’s smarter than people give her credit for, they only see her as a spoiled rich girl. The one thing we all know if what happens in Vegas usually doesn’t stay in Vegas and when she comes face to face with Gabe during an interview everything changes. These two are smoking hot together, the banter is amazing, they just click. I like this take on employer/employee romance, it’s different from others, a breath of fresh air. No spoilers, this is a must read. I received a copy of this book.

I really enjoyed the story line for Sleeping with my boss and would give it four stars! There are two things that I would have preferred to be different. The first one is when one of Luna’s friends made the comment, “You’re white and privileged. You are gonna be all right. Trust me.” Throughout the whole story Luna never acted like an entitled snob she worked hard for everything she had and treated everyone with respect and equally. Personally I felt that one line came out of nowhere and was completely unnecessary. The only other thing that I would change is an extended epilogue, I would really would have liked to read about Luna’s career after her and Gabe married. Did she work at a large hospital or did she continue to work as the doctor on the yacht? A large part of the storyline was focused on her endometriosis so were they able to have kids, did they adopt? Once Gabe and Luna were both able to see each other without their past hindering their thoughts or feelings they had an amazing connection to each other! A second book about this couples adventures would be amazing!

WOW gotta say this one is HOT full of a one night stand that happen Vegas, brooding boss, secrets, little blackmail, ultra rich people and cruise up the coast to Alaska. What could possibly go wrong? Just about what you think will. Luna med student doing her internship on a boat so hopefully she will get the position at the hospital. The captain of the boat is Gabriel Smith morning the loss of his fiancé trying to get pass her betrayal, secrets and lies. The one night stand just walked back into Gabriel life. It was a surprise to Luna too. Now all she has to do is ignore his lingering stares and her beating heart so loud in her ears she can't think. Can these two handle the simmering chemistry between them? I absolutely loved this story. The storyline was so interesting that it completely captivated me and was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing book. Enjoy happy reading 📚

As always Vivian has done it again with this steamy workplace romance, it engages you from the first chapter, the chemistry is literally off the charts however the main characters have reasons of there own as to why they shouldn’t engage in a torrid affair. Gabriel captain of a small family run yachting company, still mourning the suicide of his fiancé, and Luna mega rich, intern wanting to make something of herself without any unwanted commitment first meet in Vegas and have a one night stand neither thinking they would ever meet again when they get thrown together on a chartered cruise Gabriel is running and Luna is the medic part of her placement, both attempting to remain professional while trying perform there respective jobs, but there bodies ache for each other will they succumb to temptation but then when bribery is thrown into the equation do they really have a chance at romance, the answers are in the book, don’t be the one to miss out!!! I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I am happy to provide.

Sleeping With My Boss by Vivian Wood is Luna and Gabe's story.

A one night stand on a birthday night in Vegas with a guy you thought you'd never see again. A guy who just happens to be your new boss for the summer internship you've just applied for. Where you'll be confined on a yacht, sailing the seas.

I loved Luna and Gabe's story. It's hot and angsty, everything you'd want from a boss/employee romance story. Their story doesn't come without it's problems. Luna is torn by what to do - does she save her career or her heart? Gabe wants to grieve for the love he lost, but his heart is ready to move on.
Both Luna and Gabe have been dealt a broken past. Together can they fix their present to create a perfect future?

Loved the cameo from Luca and Cate from Married To My Enemy too.
Set in the same world as Married To My Enemy. It's not necessary to it read first, but it is a good read and gives a first look at Luna.

Are you ready for a romance that will have you hooked? Gabe is a brooding yacht captain, dealing with heart break and keeping everyone at an arms length. Luna is a medical intern trying to focus on her career path and not the thing in her life that is keeping her from what she wants the most. They meet in Vegas as strangers and share a night of incredible passion. Fast forward to months later, he is now her boss and they are on a yacht together accidentally. Talk about sexual tension! I loved every scene in this book. They way they couldn't keep away from each other. The way they tried to fight their feelings. The way that love didn't care what their plans were. My heart crushed for both of them. Gabe dealing with the death of a woman he thought he loved. Luna dealing with a medical diagnosis that held her back. This was a truly great story held with emotion. And talk about steamy! This is the ultimate work place romance.

This was such a great read. It made me laugh and frustrated with the character’s thinkings at times. Luna and Gabe had a hot and steamy one night stand in Vegas. They never thought they would see each other again. How wrong they were. Six months later Gabe becomes her boss. He is the captain of the yacht they will be taking to Alaska, while Luna is the doctor. They try to keep professional, but as you know, that goes out the window. They end up finding out more about each other and grow closer. These two come from two different worlds. Will that come between them? This has some suspense, blackmail, guilt, secrets, and some hot and steamy scenes. Luna and Gabe are so perfect for each other. Their chemistry is explosively hot and they have a strong connection that gets stronger as they work together. You will get to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones. I loved this storyline and the characters. I recommend reading this book. It is so good.
