Jill came to Nantucket with her best friends Juliette, Gigi and Talia for her Aunt Bitsy's funeral. Jill loved her Aunt as she stepped in as a parent figure when Jill and Sam's, Jill's brother, parents passed away when they were in their late teens, early 20s. After the funeral the reading of the will brought a surprise to Jill when she heard that she was given the large home along with financial help.
Brad, son of Nelson Savoy ex husband of Bitsy's, was intrigued by Jill and kept popping into her life. She finally talked with him a bit and Brad had found out that Jill was taking out her sailboat and hid away. He'd packed a lovely lunch and they got to know each other better by asking and answering questions. They were lost in their conversations and before they knew it a storm had approached.
Received an early copy for my honest and voluntary review.

A great introduction
Book 1 is a great introduction to the series . The author artfully gives us a chance to get to know Jill and Brad, and the other characters, through the story of a memorial service and a discussion on a sailboat ride. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of them more, and to seeing the resolution of the great cliffhanger at the end. I think you'll love this series!!

Ivory Fields hits it out of the park with this book. Great read. Takes you in from the first page to the last. Love the characters. Each are well developed. Trials, romance, friendship, suspense all included in this read. I was given an advanced readers copy of this well written book. I am freely leaving my review.

Are You Kidding Me?
Fields delivers more lovable characters. She has an amazing gift for creating characters that pull the reader into their lives. She is also a master of cliff hangers. This particular cliff hanger had me screaming, 'Are you kudding me?! I have to know what happens next.

Great start to a new series. Jill, and her friends have head to a celebration of life for Bitsy, a beloved member of the Nantucket community. As they attend the reading of the will, Jill is surly to learn of her inheritance. Also at the reading of the will is Bitsy ex-husband Nelson. He is accompany his son Brad from a second marriage
Brad develops a “crush” on Jill and develops a scheme to spend time with her.
Will the duo survive the plan? What happens when a peaceful afternoon sail turns disastrous?
