Chronic

Rate this book
Chronic(les) is a unique collection of poetry written by women living with chronic pain and illness. Writing from within the gender pain gap, their words bring to light the struggle with misdiagnosis, incorrect treatments, dismissal by mainstream medicine and the myriad other ways that women's pain has been left in the dark. Guest Edited by Monika Radojevic and featuring a Foreword by Lucia Osborne-Crowley, journalist and author of I Choose Elena and My Body Keeps Your Secrets, this book is for all women in pain and all those who seek to learn more about their experience.

Amazing collection of poetry written by women living with chronic pain and illness. So many of these poems were horribly relatable. It was like looking in a mirror of my life. I felt such a strong connection to these strangers and their stories. Just brilliant.

So relatable and so refreshing to hear from poets whose stories are all too often lost or never heard.
