Star Warrior: A SciFi Lesbian Romance

Rate this book
Two warring civilizations. Two warriors who should hate each other. Two fighters who discover love transcends space, time, and war!

Talia was a captain in the Combined Interstellar Fleet until the day she lost her ship in battle and found herself carried off to a strange alien world, stuck with an alien general she should hate. An alluring alien she can't get out of her head. A woman she might just be falling for.

There's just the pesky business of conquering her enemies she has to get out of the way before she can consider a date.

Varis used to be feared. Respected. The most decorated general in the Livisk Ascendency. All that was in the past when she mounted a daring raid against the human homeworld. She was searching to restore her honor, but instead she found Talia.

Exotic. Beautiful. The only human to ever defeat her in battle, and the only human who might just win her heart.

The only problem? There's a mad empress trying to kill them, nobles plotting around them, a crew to rescue, an empire to overthrow, and maybe even a wedding to plan. On a world where wedding planners think trial by single combat is a perfectly reasonable way to deal with a human bridezilla.

Who knew it would take traveling halfway across the galaxy to find love, or that it would be so complicated once they found it?

Star Warrior is a 200,000 word lesbian science fiction romance featuring powerful warriors, plucky captains, and two warriors finding love against all odds!

This book was originally published as Star Warrior by C.F. Harris but has been completely rewritten and extended with an all new ending!

lot’s of fun

This book was fun and I enjoyed the verbal sparring with the references to old earth pop-culture and the main character teaching it to the aliens. It was slow to start in terms of action. There was action initially but then it just went into a lull. The writing also had a tendency to be very repetitive. The characters, especially the main character, kept reiterating things like how they got there, how they want it to have sexual relations( which did not occur to my liking. Lot’s of talk and no follow through) , etc. It was a good adventure but at least 1/3 of the material could have been left out.

Fast paced and a good plot

I really, overall, enjoyed this book. The plot was well done and the characters well developed. My gripe is how often people change genders, which would be fine if they were supposed to. It’s incredibly distracting with one minute someone being a she and the next being a he. I noted before I brought it that that was supposed to be fixed but not so. It throws you out time and time again. For all that I really did enjoy it and would’ve loved to have given it 4 stars. With a proof read and bit of judicious editing this would be an excellent read. I still enjoyed it overall and did like it a lot. Please fix the gender errors. Thanks.

This book was a fun romp with action and humor. It was fairly long, but there's a lot that happened in this novel. Frankly, I think it could've been longer to properly flesh out some of the scenes. Then again, I revel in reading long novels. Quite enjoyable, though. Thank you for all your hard work.
