Excuse me. What the fuck did I just read? And why did I kinda like it? It was definitely depraved. It was definitely descriptive. And it was definitely gory at points. This was something I won’t forget for a good long while.
This book only has like six stories and you think oh that’s not a lot of stories but when you read themthem and see the kind of punch they carry you’re going to be asking for covenant Book2. With the exception of the story that had blasphemy in it this really is a great book. The first book is a teenage prostitute who lures men in promising to fulfill their new bile fantasies but the only one who fantasies get quinched or hers. There’s also another story with another serial killer who kills only those who Society is not going to miss and it goes on and on there’s a girl who is kidnapped by a pig cult and a husband dreading marriage counseling in the one with the Christian is having nightmares about Jesus Christ telling him he is the son of Satan and that the guy the Christian is the only thing that could save humanity he is the vessel but is his nightmares real or is he just crazy? These are the kinds of strange stories you get in No Sleep, tales from the covenant book one and I will honestly say I enjoyed all the stories but didn’t really like the blasphemous story but still feel guilty because I read it lol! So if you love the strange in macabre then you should read this book. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

I’ve been in such a horror kick, can’t stop watching horror movies currently so this was a fun thing to add on. It was nice to read through super quick since it was a collection of short stories. Each story was a quick read, but had so much behind them. Each one left me feeling ‘what the fuck’ the writing itself could be kind of rudimentary but that’s okay. I liked it for what it was
