Too short and barely any horror

I really wanted to like this issue after liking the first issue so much. But yeah I’m not sure I’ll finish off the series if the next one is so lackluster.

The first story was bland and oddly confusing while the second was barely a horror story at all.

The whole point of these is to horrify and also make us maybe laugh a little but this just felt like they phoned it in.

I’m hoping the next one gets back to what Creepshow has always been. Horrific but also entertaining. This just bored me to tears I’m happy I had Amazon credits and only paid fifty cents for it.

Avoid unless you can’t help yourself.

In the second installment of this series, we see a young girl take on an ancient tree in the first story. The second story surrounds a retired comic book writer/artist who begins to lose his grasp on reality as the modernization of his series takes over his mind.

I enjoyed the first issue much more. Simply put, this one wasn’t scary. The endings of both stories were very meh to me. The artwork for both was nice, especially the second story, where they balanced a fun cartoon artwork with a darker and creepier one. I was disappointed overall, but I hope the next issue is better!

While the first one seemed to be style (or gore) over substance, I think this issue is the opposite. The Laphams’ story was intriguing, and I liked the little twist towards the end. Foxe/Henderson’s story was easily my favorite of the two. I wish it was longer, but that’s just the nature of the medium…

A Little Better…

Better than the first issue of Creepshow. The first story was interesting about a big tree that is not what it appears to be, and the lonely girl that lost her friends. Yet something rather odd… The second one’s a stylish little psychological story about a retired comic artist and his beloved comic creation. Only one complaint: the pacing’s a little too fast.

Another disappointing issue. The first story had promise but was about five pages too short. Maybe if they remove the “ads” for other books that take away pages better used for story development the quality would improve.

Excellent!

Throughly enjoyed all of the stories! This graphic novel gets five *****'s for everything! Story line, art work, characters, etc. Can't wait to read more issues!!!!

Second Story A Bit Pathetic…

Yeh this didn’t flow on from the first issue, the first story was good, the second was terrible…absolutely not horror or belonging in Creepshow

Second story was a bit forgettable, but part one definitely had a cool setting and unique illustration with some last visuals.

Historietas cortas, rollo terror adolescente estilo RL Stine para mi generación
Ninguna te marca especialmente aunque si que hay que reconocer que el estilo de dibujo es realmente bueno

Not too happy with this issue. Not only were the stories lacking, but the artwork wasn't great.
