My jaw was on the floor for the entire length of this novella because OH MY LORD IT WAS DELICIOUSLY SINFUL and I loved every minute of it.

If Ashlee writes it I will read it no questions asked👀 The entire church moment I could not breathe- Ashlee knows what she’s doing in the smut department🥵

I really enjoyed this book so much it was very spicy and smutty between Hexley and Lauren in the book and especially love the church scene with the confession box and I really like that Lauren and hallow are still friends from the first novella and it’s a forbidden romance between step siblings and bad boy x good girl trope and not a fan of Jed Lauren’s cheating ex boyfriend in the book and I love reading Ashlee rose writing and that Lauren has to move back home with her mum and step dad Christopher and step brother hex and I love that this was a very quick and spicy read and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and I love that hex nicknames for Lauren such as brat and little one and I like that hex and Lauren parents were okay with this

This is RISQUE!!! :) I like how the POV of switches from Lauren to Hex. You get to see the best of both worlds. This mostly targeted on mature readers and people of love to read spicy content. This has a slow burn as the story progresses. Spicy moments of the books looks that you want to re create. I enjoyed reading every page. Ashlee Rose’s creation of the story as always is not always about the spice but also about creating a wonderful story to impart to her readers. The only thing I am not a fan of is that it is painfully short and I want more!! :) Thats how good it is. :) Making you read some more. :)

Raw, passionate, possessive & Sinful!!!

Straight off the bat the Author address’ that if you’re looking for plot look elsewhere. This is pure smut. If thats what youre after then dive right in 🥵 Hex & Lauren are step-siblings. They have a typical sibling relationship - mostly hate. But underneath that is the lust.. the temptation. The crave!! Hex goes for it and slowly makes Lauren come around to the idea of sinning with him and where best to persuade her but at church 🫠 that scene was 🔥🔥 and to top it, infront of her ex who she caught cheating. This was a fun, fast, filthy ride. I loved every second!!

5 million stars for that church scene. It's been a while since I've read such a scandalous revenge moment, and that was good not gonna lie 🥵

The rest of it though, was severely lacking. It had more substance than the last novella which I appreciated, but it was still really choppy.

In the end, it's simply a smutty novella and I knew that going in. Definitely a good enough way to spend like an hour, and that church scene alone made it well worth my time 😏

The authors note at the start literally says there’s little to no plot and pure smut and she wasn’t lying

For a novella, there was a lot more than “only”dirtiness. Don’t get me wrong, now. Bring on all the dirtiness, but having more was much appreciated for this. How she got back at Jed was spectacular. That for sure was top three favorite moments in this. Another being the parents. They are the best.

I don’t know why the author thought she needed to make these two fall for each other in less than 50 pages - like come on now unrealistic and no build up and it wasn’t even necessary haha let smüt be smüt

This was such a steamy novella!! I love a taboo romance so when I saw “stepbrother” I knew I was going to enjoy this. This book is primarily smut with very little or hardly any plot. If you’re not into a book that is purely smut I wouldn’t recommend this. Me on the other hand? I loved it!!! That church scene was just *chefs kiss*

#2 in the series and definitely better than the first. I hope it gets even better in the rest of the series! Definitely liked the MMC in this one. If you are a fan of the enemies to lovers trope and enjoy taboo romances, you'll like this quick read.
