Save Me Santa

Rate this book
“Save me, Santa. Please. I’ve been very good this year and I haven’t bought any toys in months.” (Shh…white lies are okay when spiders are involved.)

When a Christmas wish has a Secret Santa showing up to save the day, Brady knows he’s found the man, or possibly elf, of his dreams…until he gets accidentally poisoned and can’t remember his Christmas savior. But Santa comes to his rescue again when his Secret Santa rewards his good behavior with a new toy and a sweet letter. However, the one thing the note doesn’t tell him is the name of the man who saved the day.

Thin walls make for weird neighbors.

When open windows have Jude heading upstairs to save his neighbors from the biggest spider he’s ever seen, he’s just a bit frustrated. Well, he’s frustrated until the cutest little he’s ever seen kisses his cheek and thanks him for saving the day. Now the biggest problem is his cute little’s lack of memory and the fact that they’d never actually spoken before the great spider invasion.

Sometimes the holidays are stressful…and sometimes they’re magic.

Author’s Note: While Jude does have to go rescue Brady from a rather large spider, it’s a funny scene and not stressful. The spider is not harmed and no one is actually scared…just slightly confused and wondering if they’re hallucinating. (Brownies with an unfortunate ingredient were also involved, so it was perfectly acceptable to question reality.)

This quickly became a very favourite Christmas story.
Brady (Bambi) was so innocent, adorable, and quirky... but very dirty.
Jude (Daddy) was the same age as Brady, but level headed, caring, and considerate.
I liked that Brady and Jude had their Little time and their Dom/Sub time separated, as I sometimes get a bit icked by really sexual stuff while they are Little.
All of the craziness from Brady, his friends, and his massive, insane family, kept me grinning like an idiot.
I also liked that, due to their age and clear boundaries, they both found each other when they were both pretty sexually inexperienced, but with very dirty minds.
This was insta love, but not in a cringy way, it was in a completely adorable way.

Sweet, kinky Christmas read.

There were several funny moments and Jude and Brady are adorable together.
This author is great for an easy pick-me-up when I’m feeling stressed or down and just need something happy and sweet with no angsty drama llama.

Your one stop shop

For Daddy/Little sweetness, with all the crazy you can handle. Poor Daddy Jude has to navigate a gauntlet filled with neighbors that are entirely too loud (and nosey), a brat that tries so hard to be good (check those amazing manners), and then there’s Brady’s family. That is enough crazy for twelve people.

From the moment Jude plays “Elf to the rescue” he’s on one insane roller coaster ride. Brady with his appearance of sweet innocence, is a no filter brat who knows exactly what he wants from his Daddy. He is certain that Jude will be the best Daddy ever!

Grab a copy and experience the mind boggling adventure that is Jude and Brady. It’ll make you laugh out loud and adds a dash of holiday cheer to a sweet Christmas tale.

It was cute. for the first chapter. After that every single chapter was basically the exact thing. Bambi is cute and good. Jude is cute and good. this author is not for me.

Adorable! Loved both Jude and Brady, as well as Brady's roommates, and would love to see a series made up of the apartment residents.

My head hurts

This book hurt my brain to read. It was too much, too confusing. If Jude/Daddy couldn't figure out what Brady/Bambi was going on about half the time how are the readers suppose to follow it.
I have always enjoyed this author in the past but their last few books have been quite a different writing style.
On that note I liked the MC's and the side characters, just wish it wasn't such a bumbling mess to read.

Save Me Santa is part of the Secret Santa Daddy series season 2 and is written by M.A. Innes. Save Me Santa is about Jude and Brady. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, funny, full of feels and very well written.

Once upon a time in an apartment complex with thin walls and open windows, Jude hears a young man and his friends discussing options about how to get a giant spider out of their Christmas tree. When their conversation indicates he may have a “little” for a neighbor and it might be the cute guy he’s spotted a few times on the stairs, Jude pulls out his “Daddy” hat and heads to the rescue. A nicely done meet-cute. It’s too bad the story didn’t meet the expectations set in the blurb.

Here's the thing: I love age play, and Daddy/boy stories, and holiday stories combining both are the best, IMO. But Brady, aka Bambi, came across as a little from the first moment of the story. His voice, his exuberance, his internal questioning about Santa, elves, and so much more were very indicative of a little, but readers are shown, after the great spider rescue, that this is his norm, not his “little” time. Later, he and his new Daddy take some time for him to be a little so it was evident his childish personality was full time. Brady is a college student on a scholarship so one would think he would communicate like a teen or twentysomething, not like a six-year-old. I could not wrap my head around any relationship-building with him and Jude.

This reads like the author decided to do a quick holiday story, threw this together, and rolled along with the mindset of a sweet, cute kid wanting his own elf (Daddy) for Christmas but forgot to give him an adult voice. In fact, it was noticeably repetitive when the word “sweet” was used 82 times and “cute” 66 times. But here’s what bugged me most: the ableist terms “idiot” and “moron” were used 40 times in total and “stupid” hit 16. To these guys, everyone in the world was an idiot, including Brady’s family. There are so many wonderful words from which to choose in the English language, why repeat hurtful terms?

Why didn’t I DNF? This was a challenge book, and I kept hoping for something better that would cause a change in my opinion. It just never happened.

This book is now going on my list of top favorite holiday books! I utterly adored every single word! It's equal parts sweet and cheeky and smexy, and I giggled and sighed through the whole thing! Brady, aka Bambi, and Jude, aka Santa's elf/Daddy, are absolutely perfect together. Brady's Little is sweetly innocent, while also being cheekily mischievous, and he sure gives Jude a run for his money! Jude is Daddy perfection! He might not be the most experienced Daddy, but he knows what he wants, and what he wants is the doe eyed boy, who looks at him like he hung the moon! Add in two hilarious roommates and an army of eccentric family members and you have all the ingredients for the perfect holiday story! One of my favorite aspects of M.A. Innes books is that her characters have a tendency to pop up in random places, other than their own stories. All I'm going to say is "Kevin" and if you know, you know! I honestly can't recommend this book enough and I would give it 10*stars if I could! So good!

A super cute Daddy/boy Christmas !
We get everything we want and more. Brady is a super sweet and sensitive boy, and it's firsts for him in everything. It's a fun, silly scenario.
Jude is a little starchy at first,

but when they begin dating, he's an amazing Daddy for Brady.

They truly belong together. It's fun, tender, sexy and gives us a Christmas story to remember.
ENJOY !

Sweet and funny and sexy. Not much time playing as Daddy/little on page, but Brady doesn't have much difference between his little self and his grown up self, so in some ways most of this is age play, too. As always, this author just makes me happy!

I just had a hard time getting through this. I didn't particularly like the characters. And especially Brady was hard to swallow as a character. He had a 'little' mindset all the time. Even the adult side of him thought and acted like a little sometimes. It just wasn't for me.

This was the most delightful story that had me laughing all the way through. From the hilarious first meeting where Jude has to go upstairs in the dorm building that has the thinnest walls ever to save three loopy boys from a real giant spider(that would send me round the bend!)and Brady, the sweetest little ever kisses him for saving them from the spider though at the time they are high on very boozy fruitcake and pot brownies that were inadvertently given to them by Brady's mom(and we know his cousin Patrick is the culprit). The next day they have gaps in their memories but Brady does kind of remember the elf that Santa sent and draws a picture of him and then he does meet Jude properly and is assured that the spider was real and Jude is relieved that the pot brownies were not their fault. I loved how their relationship grew slowly and I really loved when Jude met Brady's parents who are crazy but wonderful and embrace Jude fully which is wonderful because you know that Jude's family are terrible people who never supported him. Christmas with Brady's family is chaotic and exhausting but great and you had to laugh at Brady's mom hoping that Jude's "deflowering" of Brady was gentle. Their first time was lovely and sexy. What a wonderful story.

Save Me Santa by MA Innes was both a hit and a miss for me. MA Innes consistently brings light, fluffy sweetness with absolutely no hint of drama, which can really be a great balm to the soul. Plus no one - NO ONE - writes goofy friend get togethers quite like MA Innes. This book includes one of the best meet cutes of all times involving a little and his roommates/best friends, accidental funny brownies, a boozy fruitcake, what sounded like the largest spider known to man (like the type of spider that’s actually, though one might argue shouldn’t be, a pet), an open window, and an elf daddy to save them all - Save Me Santa kicks off with a bang! The whole book is worth reading for this alone (and the meet cute/morning after is a good chunk of the book).

I loved Brady and by extension his relationship and dynamic with, well, everyone, but mostly his daddy elf Jude. That being said, I thought the timeline was sparse and seemed to only cover a handful of days. If you’ve read MA Innes before, her characters reference others being “nuts”, “insane”, or a “menace” frequently enough that they all start to blend together. Initially, I couldn’t figure out if I was supposed to recognize the main characters/roommates from other stories (I don't think I was) which got a little confusing -- though there was definitely some cross references to characters from other stories which I love. As typical, the “meeting the parents” also includes levels of disclosure and involvement that are…atypical in my opinion - likely as a way to avoid any true angst. All in all this book was an unusual mix of compelling scenes and characters with a mildly confusing and slight timeline - feeling more like reading a novella. So if you are looking for an adorably lovable minx of a character in a light and fluffy Christmas story involving a hilarious meet cute, this will be your jam.

When a Christmas wish is given by Brady has a secret Santa showing up to save the day against a large spider (who was safely rescued not killed) he knows he has found the man (or was it an elf?) of his dreams. But having been accidentally poisoned (suspect brownies and fruit cake were to blame!) he can't actually remember his saviour but then he comes to save him again by rewarding good behaviour with a toy and a sweet letter the one thing missing is the name of the man who saved the day. When open windows have Jude heading upstairs to save his neighbours from the biggest spider he has ever seen he's just a bit frustrated until the cutest little he has ever seen kisses his cheek and thanks him for saving the day. The problem now is that the cute little has a lack of memory and the fact that they have never spoken until the spider incident. Sometimes the holidays are stressful…and sometimes they’re magic.

I loved this story which was just so cute when it started and Brady was the most mischievous little who really had found the most tolerant Daddy (which is just as well). I loved Brady's flatmates and the way they tried to protect him and his family was just crazy! Jude was an adorable Daddy who really was so careful and tolerant of his boy and his needs. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains mature content of a BDSM-like relationship with DDLB and D/s behaviours.

hilariously fantastic

I would love to be able to give this book more than 5 stars. I was laughing and holding my breath through most of the book. A college romance, that I believe is in the same world as her other college romances, that had me captured and fully engaged by the second paragraph.
I loved the main characters. They were an enjoyment to read. Brody’s roommates were hilarious, though Brody is the only little his roommates don’t seem much more grown up. Perhaps their books may come in the future?
The heat factor is pretty high even though Daddy Jude keeps trying to put the brakes on while little Bambi tries to pump the gas. What is a Daddy to do when faced with a big eyed little who knows what he wants?
I would recommend the book to anyone who loves daddy little books as well as anyone interested in trying one. Pot brownies, alcohol laden fruitcake and a gigantic spider lead to more fun than you can imagine.

I read a lot of romance books and I honestly think that the meet cute between Jude and Brady was one of the best I've ever read. It was hilarious and unique and just awesome. I don't want to spoil it but I can say that it involved a wish to Santa, an open window and a spider. I was hooked from chapter one.
Brady and his roommates were so funny and entertaining. I loved the friendship between the three of them.
There were so many scenes that made me laugh out loud.
I really liked the chemistry between Jude and Brady, they were sweet and naughty. A great combination in my opinion. It was insta love but in this book, with these characters it really worked and made sense.
If you are in the mood for a fluffy and steamy festive romance that will also make you laugh I recommend "Save me Santa ". I had a blast reading it.

When Jude starts hearing his neighbors through thin walls and and an open window, he has no idea what he is about to get into. Deciding to save those clueless neighbors from a giant spider is his best decision ever. His initial frustration turns into his meeting the love of his life.
This Daddy/little story made me laugh out loud several times. Brady and Jude are so much fun to get to know! Brady is open and honest about absolutely everything, and I share Jude's amazement with him. I love Brady's flustered roommates and his crazy family. All of these people provide color in Jude's life that he never knew he needed.
I am adding this one to my list of re-reads because it is sexy, fun, and fluffy. There is no angst here. This is so much fun, and I hope to see more of Brady (Bambi), Jude (Daddy), and all of their support characters in the future.

This book started really well; a very sweet meet-cute thanks to thin walls and an open window.
I LOVED the letters and gifts.
But once they properly met, the belief in Santa and elves carried on and on and on...!

Brady's so sweet. BUT he is 'little' ALL the time. There are no adult thoughts in his head. To the point I started wondering if he had mental health issues (not meant in a derogatory way; I really wondered). Jude keeps thinking of him as "insane", and that was weirdly mean.
The pair seem to think everybody else in the world is a "moron".

Good consent and agreement coverage.

What I really enjoyed was all the play time. In fact, the most adult Brady gets is when they have grown-up play which got really steamy!
Jude is a new Daddy, but he seems well-acquainted with being a dom. Even if his brat does push beyond the boundaries!

A fun Christmas read.

The beginning was really funny and ridiculous, but it kind of fell off after that. It was insta-everything, and even though Jude/Daddy said they needed to keep things slow, it never actually happened that way. There was a ton of talk of limits and consent which was awesome, but sometimes it really slowed the story down. So basically, the pacing was weird with slow dialogue but quick everything feelings and throwing themselves into a kink dynamic.

I love daddies and littles, and this author is always hit or miss with me. But besides the random moments of hilarity, it was mostly a miss for me. (Though it's almost worth it for the random silliness. I highlighted quite a bit for a book I didn't love).

This was the perfect holiday read- sweet, low angst, and just fluffy. Jude is Brady's downstairs neighbor who often hears Brady and his roommates' shenanigans. Jude happens to save the boys from a monstrous spider in their Christmas tree (my nightmare come to life- yikes!). From that moment on, Daddy Jude and Brady develop a sweet relationship. Brady was a naughty, sweet boy and Jude was able to appreciate that dichotomy.

I would have liked to have learned more about Jude's family. He mentioned them in passing a few times, but nothing really in depth. I also would have loved to have seen an epilogue a few years in the future (or even on their next anniversary which was mentioned several times).

Such an enjoyable read!

I received an ARC for my honest review

A cute Christmas Daddy/little story. It starts out amusing where Jude overhears his upstairs neighbor yammering about a giant spider and wanting Santa to save them. He goes up and there IS a giant spider but it seems the three ate some pot brownies so are kind of flying. Once he realizes Brady is a little who starts leaving him thank yous, you uses his ability to overhear them to give him a gift and approach.

So it was kind of amusing to start and Brady was this combo of innocent/filthy, but it moves very quickly. I find large crazy families give me anxiety so Brady being kid 10 of 12 and Jude having to deal with the family kind of stressed me. Brady's dad was cool. Sometimes it dragged a bit for me and they move at the speed of light but on the whole, a cute light fluffy story with the only drama being the size of the spider in the tree.

Thank you for arc read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. It's such a a too cute and sweet Christmassy feel after all, A room full of littles, as his neighbors of nuts talk of flamethrower to take out a spider, Jude is the disaster relief elf.
Note to family, always check with bake seller for special occasion ingredients.
Brady is going to be mortified, because Jude could hear every little thing in their apartment. Oh roommates are a tricky lot especially when it's the two that Brady have. Little Brady has naughty side that just as adorably Bambi's doe wide eyed wonderous side. How can you go wrong with a mysterious gifter that knows his love of..toys!

Such a sweet, fluffy Christmas read.

When a spider the size of your hand invades your Christmas tree, who better to save you than an elf! Brady is full of consideration and always remembers to use his manners. Once Brady meets his Elf that just has to be sent from Santa, he knows that he needs to keep him. Jude wasn't prepared for Brady and all his very interesting logic with a dash of nosey family members. But he knows that there is nothing that would make him given up his boy. I love how they work together to start building their life.

I loved Jude and Brady's holiday story. It's filled with fun times, card making, cinnamon rolls, a big spider and a lot of sweet moments.

Adorable

When Brady and his roommates have a (giant) spider in their Christmas tree, they ask Santa to save them. It's their annoyed downstairs neighbor who comes to their rescue. This is how Daddy Jude and little Brady meet. It's only the beginning of Jude being wrapped around Brady's innocent, and somehow naughty, finger.

I loved this story. It was fresh. Brady was as encouraging and supportive of his new daddy as he could be. He was quirky and strange and I loved it. All the side characters cracked me up, too. This was a perfect, happy holiday story.

Adorable and Sweet Christmas Story

When meeting Brady you can tell straight of he is a sweet little. Later you get to see his naughty mischievous side. Meeting Jude you can see he is the perfect Daddy for Brady. (especially after he saved Brady from the huge spider).

I found this story sweet and uplifting which was good as I was feeling a little down. I found myself laughing and giggling along with Brady and getting confused and worried with Jude when hearing about Bradys family (omg I felt for Bradys mum all them kids).

It's a lovely Christmas story from one of my fave authors.

Such a sweet story. When his downstairs neighbor investigates a giant spider in his apartment, Brady gains a Daddy. The perfect Daddy for such an adorable Little. Jude has always had Daddy tendencies, but never had a Little of his own.
Innes' characters are always quirky. Never run of the mill. Brady is no exception. His roommates, who both need books and Daddies of their own, are a blast and his family brings crazy to a new level. No angst. And no spiders are hurt in the making of this delightful book.

Christmas wishes and sweet MM Romance

When 'little' Brady and his roommates are faced with a giant spider hiding in their Christmas tree, growly neighbour Jude can hear everything they're saying through paper thin walls and windows.
The young men seem clueless so up he goes to save the day and remove the exotic pet.
So of course Brady - who Jude nicknames Bambi - is convinced Jude's an elf sent by Santa.
Jude has always wanted to be a Daddy and Bambi is the perfect little.
This is cute, sweet, sexy and downright hilarious at times.
