This Coin Dictionary is an overview of coin terminology and the history of numismatics from the Ancient Period to Crypto. It also provides information as to reserve currencies over the last 2500 years; from the Athenian Owl, to the US Dollar, and the rising Chinese Yuan. The Coin Dictionary is based on Paul Tawrell’s “Empires & Gold - Paper Money - Bitcoin” that addresses the rise and fall of empires through their monetary policies usually ending with the debasement of their coinage. The 384-page book, available on Amazon, has over 4000 images showing classic coins, coinage, international traded coins, and the Mining of Gold. It includes chapters on the history of Greek, Roman, Middle Ages, English, United States, Chinese coins, and their monetary policy. There is a chapter on empire types - Land and Sea - and their length of survival. Empires & Money covers the intrinsic value of coins, ratio, the symbolic image of national power, and the fall of empires. All fiat currencies are drastically debased at the last stages of empire.
