Haruna Aizawa thinks that school life is just like a monkey mountain—all the monkeys form cliques, get into fights, and get back together again. The school that she just transferred to is no exception. There's even a boy called Macharu Yamashita who reminds her of a baby monkey!

Different classes, college preparations, and a disapproving father all make it hard for Macharu and Haruna to be together. So when they win tickets for an overnight stay at a resort, it seems like a great chance for them to take their relationship to the next level...

This one was pretty good. Haruna is starting to open up more. Their relationship seem's to be progressing as well.

I thought it was cute that Haruna got jealous that Macharu had made so many new friends.

Atsu didn't seem all up in Haruna's face. He was actually seeming to be rooting for them.

I think I like the installment the best so far. All the things I like about the two main characters are highlighted in this volume.

Soobie, you've been a lazy pig, and you didn't find time to write the reviews for the last two volumes of Monkey High!. And you even liked the series!

The story feels realer than many other shojo manga. I like how their date awkward and full of silence because the two of them couldn't really find the courage to communicate.

I loved that this volume showed Haruna being afraid to lose Macharu! Everyone makes it seem like Macharu is either really lucky to have her or he’s keeping her hostage… It’s kind of annoying. But at least, Atsu has gone back to being a side character… LOL.

We are back to our normal shenanigans but with thinking of the future. I LOVE that he stopped her when she was drunk. He noted not only her being drunk but her state of mind had been off. I really love this little monkey. He is a really good person.
