This had me crying with the twist that they took. She was strong, determined, but damn if I didn't feel her pain of going day by day. To see him even happy at one point. I loved the book. This will be one of the books that live rent free in my mind for a long time.

Boy meets girl, boy leaves girl, but with more than she was expecting.
Addie finds out she's pregnant after Riggs has left town due to a family emergency, but when she hears he's not coming back she doesn't tell him about the pregnancy. The next time she sees him, seven years later, he's with his wife. Move on another three and Addie is now a qualified lawyer and Riggs approaches her to represent his brother, Jackson. Reluctantly, Addie agrees and they get to know each other all over again, but this time there's the added secret of Harley, the son Riggs doesn't know about.
A story full of misunderstanding, secrets, lies, angst, betrayals, and regrets. Will they find their happy ever after, or has too much time gone by for them to find each other again?
A good read that kept me engaged from the beginning to the end.

This may be a book about a second chance at love, yet the main theme the author has focused on is the reality of choices with the hands that life has dealt.
Misty Winter's weaves a tale of two lovers, Addilyn and Riggs, that life deals a rough hand to. Instead of talking to each other, both make decisions that affect them both in regards to what they think is best for someone else without having all of the information they need. This starts the ten year path of longing and doubts that both have to live with.
The story flows over the course of ten years without any hitches. You get all of the information that you need to understand Addilyn and her situation. Then when the present rolls around you are finally able to understand Riggs. It is told with all of the emotions and struggles that they have faced, yet does not focus on the negative. It shows the growth and understanding that people should have when they look at the entire picture of a situation.
The reader cannot help but fall in love with the two main characters. They are created in such a way one can almost expect to be able to look up and talk to them.

This was beautiful, heartbreaking and still had some light suspense. It was a holiday romance about getting a second chance, a secret baby and had a strong heroine.
Riggs and Addie meet in college they’re immediately taken by each other. They both fall fast and hard, but an unfortunate situation happens and forces Riggs to return home and step up his responsibilities to his family. It also had him making the decision to walk away from Addie without any warning, just ghosting her. So when Addie realizes she’s pregnant she makes the decision to not tell Riggs. Several years pass and they run into each other, and all this time she’s been a single mom, he’s unfortunately moved on and is married- with a kid. A couple years pass again when Riggs gets news that his brother is charged with murder. He knows there’s only one person who can help him- Addie. Only this time everything is different. Except his attraction and feelings for the girl he loved years prior are still there.
My heart literally dropped when I read this. I hurt for Addie. To love someone and have them ghost you, only to find out you’re pregnant. Then to later learn he’s moved on and married with a family?? Oh my heart went out to her. I was so angry at Riggs for leaving her, and also at Addie for not telling him about Harley. This book makes you feel several emotions, but it’s definitely worth it in the end!

She is able to finish college to become an Attorney with the help of her mom Rosa and her sister Astrid. As a single working mother, her family is still there helping her raise he son Harley.
Ten years ago Riggs was suddenly running the family log home-building company after the death of his dad. During those years he married and had a daughter but he often thinks of his first love, Addi. Well, suddenly he is in need of an Attorney for his reckless brother and he knows he can trust Addi.

This is an emotional love story between Addilyn and Riggs who date in college and hit it off on their 1st date. Riggs has an unexpected family emergency and heads home without a word leaving Addilyn heartbroken several weeks later. Seven years later Addilyn sees Riggs out with his wife and Addilyn is sad and knows keeping her secret was the right decision. Another three years later Addilyn fulfills her dream of becoming a successful lawyer and Riggs needs a lawyer to help his brother, Jackson. These two work together to uncover who framed Jackson and end up being intimate rekindling what they had. Addilyn doesn’t know what to do with her secret and ends up having her boss take over Riggs case. Unfortunate events occur causing their lives to become upside down and after the fallout they are given the chance to come back together as a family! A book that could be a Hallmark motion movie. Long lost loves. Second Chances. Poor choices. Family and love. Romance and all its Christmasy magic entwined. When college chubby unremarkable Addilyn Gryffon sees nice guy with an amazing smile Riggs Copeland, she completely knows he is out of her league. Never thinking she’d have a chance with Riggs, she admires and dreams from afar until he asks her on a date. There, they both knew they were meant to be - awe! But life happens and things don’t work out; poor decisions makes this story a perfect Hallmark moment . Chance encounter 7 years later as a missed opportunity only then 3 years after that I believe Fate poked the wheel to get these two their second chance. But feelings won’t be ignored and a lot of life decisions are needed to be made. The book ended beautifully that makes the heart happy.

Adillyn, heartbroken and pregnant, is determined to forge on without him. Over a decade later Riggs’ brother needs a lawyer and he seeks out Adillyn. Old feelings rush to the surface but Riggs can’t figure out why she is so resistant, he knows he broke her heart but the passion and chemistry is still just as palpable between them… then one night he tracks her down to have it out and comes face to face with the ten year old son he never knew about.

I loved Christmas Redemption: A Secret Baby Second Chance Romance. It’s a sweet story of second chances. Although I didn’t care much for Riggs after he broke Addilyn’s heart but these two finally getting together 10 years later and what he did for her sister redeemed him. When Riggs’ brother is charged with minder he goes to Addiyn for help. Although she turns him down eventually she takes the case and the old feelings come rushing back. The good, the bad and the ugly. When he finds out her secret will it ruin everything they have started over? This was a great second chance story and I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

A pretty good read but the author threw in everything but the kitchen sink. It was good, but maybe a bit too much. There was a second chance romance, a secret baby, a murder mystery, then a huge dramatic moment at the end. It was a tiny bit overkill. suspense, The story revolves around Riggs and Addi. They were college sweethearts until one day he pretty much ghosted her then left after he father passes and finding out some heartbreaking news. It’s sometime later before they see each other again but then more bad news causes a wrench just a few months before Christmas. It takes time for all the pieces to fall into place. I enjoyed though regardless.

This is an emotional story with heartbreak, misunderstandings and secrets. The fell for each other in college and then he ghosted her. He had no clue she was pregnant. In my opinion this was fantastic read as the reader is taken on an emotional rollercoaster with Riggs & Addilyn story. Riggs broke her heart 10 years ago & he walks back in needing her help behaving as if the past was nothing. Can Addilyn put aside the past in order to help Riggs? Loved This Book!!!!
I love all of Misty’s books! This is different from the ones I have read, but it was amazing. Make sure you have your tissues handy because you will definitely need them in this second Chance romance!
I loved the bond that they had! I loved that through everything, their chemistry was as strong and steamy as ever! I loved that he had such a big heart and that he had her best interest in mind when he made his decisions, even if they were a mistake. They both made mistakes, but worked hard to make them right!
I cannot wait to see what else Misty writes for us to enjoy!

This story really drew you in! The initial meeting, falling in love and all of the feelings gave me a really warm feelings for the characters. Then... Wow, he just left! Yes, they were both likable people but she drew the short straw. He felt bad, but she still lived with the short straw. In some ways he was very self centered and saw everything through its impact on HIM and HIS feelings. In selfishly helping the h's sister, he actually redeemed himself. He needed this lesson.

This book is a secret baby second chance romance book. It tells the story of Riggs and Addilyn. I loved the character of Riggs, he seemed so real in his pursuit of Addilyn. I also could feel all of Addilyn's fears and concerns with Riggs leaving her and her trying to rebuild her life with a new baby alone. I also, could fear when Riggs resurfaces in her life years later. You will love this story and feel the snow falling as these two fall in love again. Great Christmas romance!.

This is a great second chance story and it combines the holiday season. The characters met and fell in love in college, but life got in the way and pushed them apart.
Riggs and Addie meet up again years later, when Riggs hires Addie’s law firm to represent his brother, who is accused of murder. They start to get closer together again, but secrets have a way of coming out and messing up things.
Riggs find out that he is a father to Addie’s son, Harley, and that she never stopped loving him nor he her.
They pull their acts together and form a strong family unit.

This was an OK read. Addie finds out she's pregnant after Riggs has left town due to a family emergency and when he calls her finally, he says move on. So he never knows he has a child. Years later, she 's a lawyer and a single mom, he's a divorced father of a girl. They reconnect, but can they reignite the flame between them. The book felt way too predictable, but if you're looking for a feel good read, this is it.

Riggs left Addilyn when they were going to junior collage. Addilyn was devastated when he left and soon had a reason to continue with her education. Ten years later Riggs has a reason to find Addie and the attraction is still as strong as it was back in collage. Addie's secret forces her to make decisions that will change all their lives. This story brought me to tears at one point with all the emotions that were revealed. Loved this story.

This is a second chance at love romance between former lovers, Addilyn and Riggs, who dated in college. These flawed but likeable characters, the strong connection, the combustible chemistry, and the unique plot make for an interesting read. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with steam, drama, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A love story with heart, heat, and a happy ending.

This story starts off with a bang with college love and unfortunately life throws a curve ball which separates Addilyn and Riggs. However not without leaving Addi something to remember Rigg by. Flash forwarded 10 years and Riggs needs Addi the lawyer to help him out. Seeing each other again shows that where there’s smoke, there’s heat … can they work out their differences and give love a second chance or will their passion just smouldered and die out.

after reading this I like their past stories. The chemistry between them is very compatible. But after everything happened and skipped ten years Until they meet again because he needs a lawyer for his brother's case. It brings back the memories of the couple's past. And Riggs ask addilyn for second chance before he learned the truth that he had a son. The rest I don't spoil you guys. But I think you guys must like this.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. An emotional second chance romance with some drama and family problems thrown in that made it an interesting read. Although there was some angst, it was quite easily/ quickly resolved and Riggs and Addilyn finally find their HEA with a sweet ending.

Christmas Redemption is a sweet, feel-good holiday read. Misty pens a lovely story with engaging characters that will warm your heart. A quick read. You need to add this book to your holiday reading list.
When Riggs and Addie make a good couple. In the beginning, their relationship ended too quickly. So, when the second chance opportunity came up for these two, I was rooting for them. The romance between Riggs and Addie was a slow burn but has some kick to it.

A great story wheretwo characters meet, fall in love and then life happens and less than stellar chocies are made. Years have passed and fate is determined to bring Addilyn and Riggs together for a second chance. There are a few moving parts to the story which keep it moving smoothly as these characters find their HEA. Enjoy!.
