Leviticus: They Will Be Forgiven
In this three-week reading plan, we’ll read what life in the presence of God looked like for the covenant community of Israel. We’ll discover the theological value of Leviticus, identifying the timeless truth of God’s Word revealed during a particular period of history. We’ll come face to face with the grim reality of sin and our need for reconciliation. And we’ll gain a deeper appreciation for God’s redemptive plan, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, our perfect sacrifice.

She Reads Truth

Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth invites women of all ages to engage Scripture through curated daily reading plans, as well as online conversation led by a vibrant community of contributing writers. This community of “Women in the Word of God every day” represents a long list of cities and countries, a variety of backgrounds and traditions, and countless real-life stories. But there is a commonality that binds us: we believe God's Word is Truth. So we read. Every day we read a new passage together—working our way through books of the Bible, topics that matter, and seasons of the Church calendar. We engage with God's Word and with each other. And we keep coming back, on the hard days and the good days, because God and His Word never change, regardless of our circumstances.

Finished this one last weekend - I couldn’t find it on here for awhile! Paired with the podcast, this Leviticus study was one of my favorites for the whole year.

I am a great fan of the She Reads Truth Bible studies (He Reads Truth and Kids Read Truth studies are also available), many of them just follow straight through a book of the Bible and, at other times, they follow a theme, using scripture from throughout the Bible.
There are some really 'difficult' books within the Bible, difficult, dry, hard to understand and this is where the SRT studies really help, leading one through the scripture verses and then, through the daily commentaries by Christian female writers, gaining a deeper understanding of the words, the context and the message behind.
Levitius is just one of these 'difficult' books and I have often either rushed through it or avoided reading it. Now I feel much more comfortable with it.
A really good companion as you read.
