She continued writing for Shogakukan until 2007, with her works appearing in both Shōjo Comic and their other magazine Cheese!. She left the company to go freelance citing a dispute over working conditions and abusive treatment by her editor.

¿Para qué mentir? La mayoría de las obras de Mayu Shinjo me parecen una porquería sin pies ni cabeza, una perorata machista violenta que les hace creer a las chicas vírgenes -evidente "target" de sus mangas- que mientras más les pegue y las maltrate su novio, más las quiere. Bueno, este es una excepción entre toda su mierda, ya que se trata de un manga gracioso y entretenido en el que -al menos hasta donde yo recuerdo-, en ningún momento le pegan o hacen sentir inferior a una chica sólo por su sexo. Si me obligaran bajo punta de pistola a releer algún manga de Mayu Shinjo, seguro sería este.

This was decent for what it was: a thinly disguised erotic manga. There isn't much to the plot in this series, so if you're looking for detailed plot lines like in Ai Ore or Kaikan Phrase, you'll be disappointed.
This is sort of the epitome of the "glad it was free" manga that I read online. As always, Shinjo does a wonderful job with her art but the story here just is lacking. Since this was done during the time period where she was being used and abused by her former publishers, this was probably less the result of Shinjo's creative output and more the result of her publisher trying to get her to mass produce Kaikan Phrase-esque works.

Um, kinda sex crazed. The entire manga. Just the whole I'll help you if I get your body and all that. "Real original by the way." Michelle says sarcastically.
I didn't really think any of the characters were memorable either or anything. The plot was done before and yeah... I dunno why, this manga depressed me...
Anyway, 2 stars for not amazing me or anything...

If there was a half star, I would give it 2 and a half stars... It was OK, some funny moments, some romantic, espesially when he was whispering in her ear in english... Other things, like she got acceptes, because he got on the poster...really pissed me, was she THAT stupid or what???

Cuánto tiempo hacía que no os traía un nuevo libro :)
Ayer leí "Amor al desnudo" de Mayu Shinjo y me encantó, es un manga distinto a los que he leído hasta ahora. Este sigue manteniendo aires de romance pero subimos a un nivel más picante, ya que tiene un mayor contenido erótico.
Este manga contiene las siguientes historias:
- Amor al Desnudo.
- Amor Loco.
- Amor Bueno.
- Flor Venenosa.
Para mi sorpresa, me han gustado todas las hitorias pero especialmente, las tres primeras.
Este manga con toques de humor, amor y erotismo es perfecto para distraeros un rato y sumergiros en una lectura rápida y entretenida.
¡Os lo recomiendo! :D

Hamano und Yagami waren mehr oder weniger Freunde (er ist der Typ der das Mädchen das er mag hänselt und sie hat natürlich keine Ahnung), doch als Hamano es nicht auf die weiterführende Schule schafft, für die sie beide sich beworben haben, trennen sich ihre Wege. Dabei hatte sich Yagami dort nur wegen ihr beworben. Er war immer der faule Genie und sie die fleißige Durchschnittsschülerin. Auch drei jahre später hat sich das nicht geändert, doch als Yagami Hamanos Mutter trifft sieht er siene Chance und wird Hamanos Nachhilfelehrer, ob sie will oder nicht. Als Bezahlung will er von Hamano jedoch kein Geld, sondern ihren Körper.
Natürlich ist Hamano nicht dumm (von ihren Noten mal abgesehen) und erkennt dass Yagami Gefühle für sie hat. Und trotzdem lässt sie sich drauf ein als er seine Nachhilfemethode vorstellt: bei einer falschen Antwort zieht sie etwas aus, bei einer richtigen er. Denn irgendwie ist er ja ganz süß.
Sie ist ein naives aber willenstarkes und total durchschnittliches Mädchen, er ist der typische nervöse und unglaublich gutaussehnde Macho. Der Stil und die Geschichte sind beide okay, aber mehr auch nicht. Im Prinzip geht es nur um Sex. Das zweite und dritte Kapitel waren eigentlich nicht als Forsetzung gedacht, da das erste Kapitel ein One-Shot sein sollte.
Ich würde den Manga nicht wirklich weiterempfehlen.

Come avrete capito dalla precedente recensione di Virgin Crisis (la trovate QUI), sia io che Yvan adoriamo Mayu Shinjo. Purtroppo però in Italia non sono state pubblicate tutte le sue serie.
Junai Strip è un volume unico, la protagonista femminile è Yuuko, quello maschile Ryunosuke, segretamente attratto dall'amica d'infanzia e cercherà in tutti i modo di far entrare Yuuko nella scuola da lui frequentata.
La caratteristica di tutti i manga della Shinjo è un alto tasso di erotismo e passione anche se i disegni non sfociano mai nel volgare.
Come tutti i suoi protagonisti maschili, ho adorato il modo di porsi di Ryunosuke nei confronti di Yuuko, stuzzicandola e alle volte prendendola in giro.
Ma non è questo l'amore?
Ben presto anche Yuuko si renderà conto di provare qualcosa e cambierà totalmente atteggiamento.
Come sempre Mayu Shinjo passa egregiamente la prova.
Unica pecca che mi porta a darle tre stelline: avrei preferito una duologia in modo tale che venisse esplorato il rapporto post-dichiarazione tra i due protagonisti.

En sí la lectura me gustó. Estaba muy bloqueada con otros libros y este sirve mucho como lectura ligera.
Pero también es cierto que tiene mucho para criticarle. La relación de los personajes no es la más sana. Yagami es muy egoísta y juega con Yuko como quiera. Ella por su parte se deja arrastrar por él y por el sexo claro.
Son adolescentes y digamos que para la época no estaba tan mal (la relación y el contexto). No justifica ni hace que la historia sea mejor, pero no podemos no tener en cuenta eso.
Ahora somos más consientes de lo que debería ser una relación sana y el amor propio.
Aun así es una historia divertida pero no hay que tomarla demasiado en serio (o terminaríamos odiándola).

No me enamoró del todo, pero me gustó bastante este tomo de Mayu Shinjo, y debo reconocer que no soy la más objetiva clasificando porque me encanta su dibujo XD Ha sido una historia muy romántica y con unos personajes super divertidos, hay escenas entre Yuko y Yagami en las que no se puede parar de reír.
