If you love shrek yeah Shrek this one is for you lol. Sean has a task to do bring a female to this person so his land is safe. And when he kidnaps Finlee he wasn’t think more of it. The banter and sass between them was so good and funny lol. But when Fin drinks something they get extremely sexual 😈😈😈

I highlighted almost even single line he says cause he’s filthy. I still can’t believe this is Ruby’s first time writing monster romance. She really dove head first with this one and said “buckets, forked tongue and knotting please.” I swear this will convert anyone that hasn’t read monster romance yet.

That being said, I was shooketh to my core (ha) when I found out this was inspired by Shrek.

a gem of a find
I came upon a recommendation for this story in a fb group. This author and story is new to me, despite this tale being out in the cyber world for several years now. With the current love for orcs and all things monster I am surprised this one hasn’t been mentioned prior. Hopefully others will find it as well. As always, I wish there was more but alas, there is not. If you wish for a quick tale this one is perfect.

I had seen this little novella all over social media, and I was really intrigued! I’ve never read anything by the author before, it was their first monster romance AND Shrek inspired. Sign me the f up.
Until Dawn follows Sean, our devilishly handsome people named Ogre, and our sassy FMC, Finlee.
Relations between Ogres and humans are pretty dire, mainly due to the common misconceptions that our spread about Ogres. Ogres have to pay a “tax” on their lands in order to keep humans from running them down. Sean is told by the Prince that his payment must be to bring him a human female 😬. We never actually see the prince, but he’s seems like a bad one. After her capture, Finlee finds herself in heat after swiping, what she believed was whisky, a horse mating potion and taking a drink.
Mutual gratification is then needed (until dawn 👉🏻👉🏻) and then it’s a wild erotica for the rest of the group. Throughout it all, Sean was so sweet and caring. They become a mated pair, and it’s a really sweet ending.
I really enjoyed this. The author set out to write a monster erotica, and they did exactly that. It was wonderful.
The word gaping was thrown round a few times, after what his tail did to her bum 🤣…and yeah…that was not a sexy image. But overall, great little read. Please keep writing monster novellas, and I can’t wait to read the rest of your work.

When I first found out that Ruby Medjo had a new pen name and would be writing a monster romance novella, I was extremely EXCITED! I love her work and was curious to see how this would go.
Safe to say I was NOT disappointed. This book had all the monster smutty goodness with the hint of a cute little romance between human and monster.

The thing I don't like about novellas is that you have to put a lot of information into a very short time frame, and sometimes the story comes out rushed. It's hard to make sure all the pertinent information is included when you are only writing so much. I liked Finlee and Sean but again, their "love" seemed too fast. I think this story would have been better as a full-length book. I love Ruby Medjo so this won't deter me from reading any of the other books written under Juniper Hale!

This book wasn't quite what I expected. I knew there would be spice, but by 30%, Sean and Finlee were already doing the deed. Actually, the majority of the book was about it 😂.
The world building was quite limited, and the pacing was ok. I liked the epilogue, which jumped 13 months.
The ending was quite sweet, but I wanted more of a plot. There was no information about the Prince, what happened when Sean didn't give Finlee to the Prince as promised, etc. I'm sure other readers would like this book more than I did, though.

So this just proves that Juniper (Ruby) knows how to write a kick-ass spicy short story in both dark fiction and omegaverse (gimme them monsters).
Sean, a grumpy-sunshine ogre, abducts Finlee, a curvy, sassy human. They find themselves in quite a predicament when she accidentally drinks from the wrong flask (whoops), then he does (double whoops), with steamy results.
When I say that Sean has a dirty mouth, I mean to say he has a *filthy* mouth. Praise kink go brrrrrt!
Loved this short but hot story. Looking forward to Juniper's next release!

I’m still not sure how I feel about this genre but I read this book in less than an hour! Pretty much 0 plot, they just do it a lot. A LOT. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

WAIIIIT this was so much fun omg. I am still newer to monster romances and this did what it needed to.
I saw in someone else’s review that I’ve you liked Shrek as a kid you will love this and I couldn’t unsee that while reading this story — and I am not mad about it at all.
Sean was somehow filthy and sweet at the same time. And Finlee truly just did what any normal person would do — fall in love with him 😂
Beware it is unhinged with smut (in the best way possible) and IMO the plot is the smut. Do what you want with that information 😛

Okay this story was great. Hot with size difference in every way. You could say there was dub-con since a potion was drunk to facilitate the fucking, but honestly if you're reading this story I don't think that's your biggest concern LOL. I appreciate that the author really emphasized that this ogre is huge in every single way in every single aspect. Like if this was hentai you'd see that stomach distend. An excellent monster fucker story and I hope the author writes more tbh lol. Spice 5/5.

first monster smut and idk what to think tbh... kinda enjoyed it.. but it's short and therefore lacked substance. kinky ogre takes a smart-ass human girl captive and ravages her. it's like less than 60 pages with lots of steam. i don't like it when characters drop the "i love you" too soon.

This was a great short read when you are craving something not so normal and really spicy.
