I tried, but it was just painful. The storyline was good in theory, but the actual execution and writing was terrible. Also, it’s labeled as a standalone, but there were so many references and plot points that I was very confused about and it appears that it’s necessary to read the previous book. And lastly, a group of best friends with names of Remi, Royce, Grayson, Forrest, and Arrow? And they create a video game with the name of WaterFyre Rising?? I’m sorry, but it just screams millennial TikTok mom.

I’m Absolutely blown away by this universe that the incredible Nadia Han has created for us! I’m in awe of the way that her mind works and how she puts so much depth and detail into the adventures that she writes. She is truly a Mastermind with the invigorating flow of her writing style.
The Daredevil follows Royce & Michelle. They both have monsters in their past that keep them leery of letting other people get too close to them. They are hiding, in a sense protecting their secrets. They are both flawed with some baggage that makes them more endearing to me. More relatable.
There has always been a familiarity between the both of them, as they have met before in their adult lives, but the connections that develops more throughout and the sprinkles of past meetings are brought to life in such a deeply emotional way.
The amount of moments I had tears from happiness & joy in my heart, the ahh-ha moments- they were truly written impeccably. Just the overall deeply connected development of character, of both Royce and Michelle had me craving and devouring this book page after page.
((We all have monsters in our past, or at least do. And one of the topics written about (her monster) really had me more personally connected to Michelle. I too have struggled, and now struggle with the opposite- because the MONSTER is all too present in my daily life. So this story really touched my heart. Showed me growth! Showed me how to be stronger! Showed me how to let go of things! So for that, I’m truly thankful for the beautiful way that Nadia Han wrote this story!!!))
The character of Royce we have met in the previous book, but getting the full feel of who he is and why he is the way he is, was such an intriguing journey to go on. He has several moments in the book I wanted to just hug him, though he is strong, fierce and brave… he too has stressors from his past, and when they all come full circle - it’s such a great plot twist!!
Speaking of plot twist and angsty moments- Nadia is the Queen of writing these romantic suspense books with twists after twist you will not expect! And to me that makes an excellent author! They are able to catch you off guard and give you that shock factor.
All in all- perfectly written! Great character development! Plot twist city, relatable, intriguing, shmexy, the perfect amount of spice and just an overall wonderful read!!!!

Royce is a Billionaire, business man and innovator who is interested in the power of Volcano's. While in Iceland he meets a woman who at first infuriates him but as they spend more time together he starts to see the attraction to this powerful woman.
Michelle is a travel blogger and when her travel's take her to Iceland she did not expect to met Royce in the middle of the trip. The privilege billionaire who thinks he is god but as she gets to know the real person see feels the chemistry building but can her past be put back there or will all the insecurities come through.
This is the second book in the WaterFyre series and I loved the first book and this one does not disappoint at all. I loved the way the relationship started rocky but as you read through the book you slow start to see the characters inside and the chemistry which works its way through to shine at the end.
I loved the free spirit nature of Michelle's character and that she was could be herself with no repercussions and able to showed a brilliant side to her. Royce's character was full of charm, but I loved that he was so clever but so clueless to the attraction was a redeeming quality.

This is a seven book series, so I will be seeing it through out of sheer will power.
I do enjoy some of the overarching plots of the story. . . And I must know how it all ties together. . .
- Bunch of guys that became friends as teens, now all very successful billionaires and entrepreneurs.
- All are working together to build a video game, which has been a childhood dream of theirs. Very wholesome, very demure.
- So far (only on book two), there is a criminal organization going after all of the guys individual businesses. Very suspect, not demure.
- Love the weird family stuff that comes up. Love the crimes.
WHAT I STRUGGLE TO DEAL WITH is the romantic interaction. It's kind of cringe. Like, I get it, romantic relationships require vulnerability and all that. ALSO, crime stuff is happening, the men are dealing with some shit. . . Every single time a man isn't giving the FMC attention for like, two seconds, they start immediately doubting the relationship. Gasp, is he cheating on me!? No bitch, they found a DEAD BODY IN THE GARAGE- chill.
Any who, will continue to read. 3 stars over all because I can respect the plot. Character interaction makes me want to die on the inside tho.

Awesome book! I loved the connection between Michelle and Royce. I enjoyed the first book in the series, however, The Daredevil absolutely surpassed it. Full of action and suspense, can not wait for the next book. Nadia did an amazing job developing her characters and plot.

This book was absolutely amazing. I love the author's way of bringing you into the story right away and the way she brings out the emotions for the characters. I cried, I laughed, I was stressed, and felt overwhelming joy.

Honestly this book blew my mind!! There were so many twists and turns thought out this whole story!! I was sitting on the edge of my seat needing to know what was going to happen next!
I absolutely love Michelle and Royce! They were truly meant to be! They were thrown into each others live a few times. They both had their own monsters/demons. But they just fit perfectly together and made one another a better person!

This book was amazing!!!! I loved Royce and Michelle their characters were amazingly written. And the storytelling and the plot kept me hooked on reading. Nadia Han’s writing style is phenomenal it immerses you in her books and makes it hard for you to put them down.
I loved the depth that both Royce and Michelle have in their characters, and it was wonderful to see how they learn to accept themselves and face their fears.
I loved watching Royce struggle on figuring out his feeling for Michelle and where he stands with her also we finally got to know him as a person and what he does for a living and seeing his role in the friend group. Michelle was such a sweetheart I loved her. Her mental struggles touched my heart and I'm so happy to she found her way to the surface. I loved seeing her interacting with Royce and the SSG 003 squad. I missed them.
The first book mentioned about their jobs and roles in the friend group but it was amazing to get to know them and see things from their perspectives. So I do recommend this book if you love friends to lovers and forced proximity and suspense.

I don't know why I kept forcing myself to continue reading this. Usually I have no issue with DNFing. The story/plot seemed interesting and it could have been but the writing continued to bring it down a star the further and further I got in. The writing style and execution definitely were not my cup of tea but the various inconsistencies that continued to show up really did me in. Michelle said her dad left when
she was a baby, then it was he died of stroke. Her stuff is in Royce's truck yet she showers with her own things and puts on her pj's in his apartment when her stuff wasn't even inside, talking about Royce going in to his office when they were already in his office.... the list goes on. I started glazing over Everything's just to get to the end to figure out who was responsible for certain things happening and it just all seemed messy and not well thought out, just too many random things thrown in. It took me several days to get through this when most books this length I'll start and finish same day.
Also, the ending and a few other "shocking" moments were so painfully predictable I saw them coming a mile away. There was no surprise in those revelations at all.

Another great book. This is the 2nd in the series. This was about Michelle and Royce. Royce was 8 years old when he lost his mom. He was living in Iceland so he went to live with his aunt in the states since she was the only family he had. His dad left when he was 5 years old. He had a sister but she was kidnapped at 2 years old and never found. Royce was living in Providence Rhode Island and he went back to Iceland occasionally. He had excursion businesses all over the world. Michelle flew into Iceland for work for the new you beauty company. She was given a car service to pick her up from the airport to take her the apartment she would be staying in. The car ended up breaking down so the driver called his boss and he came to pick them up. The driver Oskar hurt his leg because he got out of the car and the weather was really bad. Turns out his boss was Royce. Royce and Michelle knew each other from home. They became even better friends after this. There was a lot of danger in Royce’s life so he tried to keep her at a distance. I loved all of the events in this book. Lots of surprises that I didn’t see happening.

This book was so fluid to read. I wanted to know what you come next, who was behind the sabotaging, I loved how Michelle and Royce found each other. There were too many coincidences for my taste. They were friends who didn't really know each other... I would have loved to flashbacks to colidify the way they knew each other before because you really could not tell... And the way Royce was so sure of not being able to love and suddenly he is all I love you Michelle.... but over all it was a great story. I love how Royce said to was never fake for him, how he went out of his way for Michelle, truly lovely!

I had a harder time getting into this book than the first book. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but by the end of the book, I was really happy where it went.
"It takes courage and strength to weather a storm."
"Sometimes, circumstances forced us to make tough choices."
There was a lot of talk about mental health, eating disorders, and self-esteem issues. Let me say the author handled these sensitive issues with such grace and compassion. Not only were the issues described in a way easy to understand, but the healing was also described well. It's a process that takes time and effort. It's not something that happens overnight. But you can overcome trauma. They are monsters that can be defeated.
“When you love someone, you don’t need it to be returned. You love because the person makes you feel cherished more than anyone ever did, and that’s enough for me."
Michelle is such a strong person. Not just dealing with her mental health problems and eating disorder, but how she dealt with Royce. She understood his pain, soothed it, and loved him despite the fact that he may not feel the same. She has incredible strength, and I love her all the more for it.
“To feel is to never forget, and I’ll never forget how loving you has changed me.”
I admire Royce so much. Even though he feared love about all else, he was willing to face his fear and opened himself up to Michelle. He protected her and wanted what was best. He even created an app so she could "eat her monsters" and not feel so alone. That is love and dedication.
"I love you the way the river runs toward the ocean; it doesn’t know any other route. I love you the way the storm loves the wind; the force makes it stronger. I love you the way the volcano transforms under pressure; it creates the burning beauty beneath the surface. And I love you the way the night sky admires the Northern Lights"
This quote is the best quote in all the books. It truly sums up Michelle's and Royce's love for one another.
The whole plot with the organization just gets more complicated. I was shocked with how Royce's dad and mom were involved. It was all so complicated. I definitely need to know what is going to happen with the organization and if the friends will be able to beat them. It's getting so much more complicated.

Royce Viktorsson is a part time volcanologist and full time explorer, he lives his life on the edge, but always with a calculated risk and it has paid off time and time again, leading to him growing his empire and putting the lessons learned into practice, but it has taken over his life in a way that leaves no room for romance, or strong emotions, he is a wild as he can be despite the hidden hole in his heart. Michelle Yates is a travel blogger and uses her experiences and thoughts on life to inspire others through the written word and so when an opportunity presents itself for her to escape the recent past and explore somewhere new and learn about some innovative projects, she signs up straight away, but what she doesn’t expect is immediately becoming caught in a thunderstorm and running into a friend when he comes to her rescue.
The last person Royce was expecting to see was Michelle and especially not caught in a rainstorm with one of his employees thanks to a run of bad luck, but when this bad luck keeps reoccurring, he thinks that he can see a pattern developing and he is not happy about it in the slightest. Michelle cannot understand why she keeps running into barriers, both mental and physical on this trip, but she is not letting them consume her mind, however, Royce is another matter entirely and she is struggling to keep the monster inside her head from warping it into something ugly when she us surrounded by beauty.
As the days pass and both Royce and Michelle use it as a way to plumb the waters of whether their is something more than friendship between them and when someone from their joint pasts turns up, it is a perfect opportunity to find out. As their clear and undeniable attraction builds, more and more danger creeps into the picture as well, but will they be able to find out who is behind their run of bad luck before their time runs out? Will the two be able to reclaim themselves as their presents run into their pasts, or will their romance be ripped apart before it can really, truly begin? If fates truly aligned, this is a perfect example of it.
The continuation of the overarching mystery gathers more depth and encompasses so much more than just the crime that the guys witnessed. It seems to be growing larger than just their city, too. It will be interesting to see where the author goes with it! Looking forward to the next book!

Hi Y’all! Come in and grab a seat while I tell you about this book I just read.
The title is the DareDevil by Nadia Han it is book 2 in the Waterfyre Rising series. You don’t have to read in order but it helps to understand the other characters a bit more and I think we probably would have met Royce too.
The cover is ok and goes well with the title. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because …Daring, clever and gorgeous was enough lol.
Trigger Warnings: this does talk about eating disorders and also has mention of child trafficking snd abduction( off page) if these are emotional triggers please skip this book or proceed with caution.
Who’s my favorite main character ? Royce. I like a bad boy with a good heart and a bit of mystery to him.
The story has a couple settings. One is Iceland where Royce is dealing with an issue with one of his companies and Michelle is on a job. And New England where they both iced. I loved how this fit in the story. I liked how it tied in Adventure, the Daredevil aspect , friendship and their two homes. I would have loved to visit Iceland, especially the NewYouBeauty Resort. I love cool climates snd it sounded like heaven. There were other gorgeous locations too.
The story is a romantic suspense with a touch of mystery and adventure. There is a lot going on. Both characters have a plot following them that ties together as well. There is drama, suspense, beautiful locations, and even the sex scenes are good.
So many twists!
What did I like best? How fate seems to connect Michelle and Royce. First they are friends from back home, second he saved her as a teen and they didn’t realize, then she has his wish bottle he threw in the ocean. It’s all so romantic with all the suspense added in.
I loved the ending. It was HEA snd very beautiful . I loved how everything was so well tied up. I also like how it leads us into the next book! Bring it on! )

The Daredevil is book two in the WaterFyre Rising series. This book combines action, adventure, drama, and romance as we are introduced to the characters of Royce and Michelle. Royce owns his own company and Michelle is a travel blogger. Both are smart, feisty, hardworking, determined and addicted to adrenaline.
Royce is a billionaire who has worked hard to get to where he is at. He has a zest for life and is always seeking the next thrill and the next adrenaline rush. After a horrendous relationship from his past scarred him, he has no interest in relationships. Michelle has worked hard to get to where she is and does not want to be told what to or have someone dictate her life for her. She too, has a zest for life and is always seeking the next thrill or the next adventure. When Michelle gets sent to Iceland on assignment things change quickly for both Royce and Michelle.
While in Iceland Michelle runs into Joyce and they discover they have mutual friends and knew each other a long time ago. As they spend time together, they chemistry and attraction between them intensifies and big-hearted Royce discovers that he would do anything for Michelle. When unexplainable accidents and murders start to occur at Royce’s business, they quickly realize that someone is seeking revenge. Royce vows to protect Michelle at all costs.
I loved the storyline and fell in love with the characters in this book. Royce and Michelle both had baggage from their past that was holding them back on some ways. When they got together Royce discovered that he could fall in love again and that the right woman was worth fighting for. The chemistry and passion between the two really sizzle. A must read for anyone looking for a book full of action, suspense, danger, murder, intrigue, secrets, revenge, passion, lust, and love.

No ha estado mal, pero no me ha terminado de gustar. He sentido que a lo largo del libro se han dado casualidades demasiado exageradas y poco probables, es decir, si hubiese sido una, podría haber llegado a entenderlo, pero es que la autora ha metido en la historia tantas casualidades como si fuesen eventos del destino, que para mi, ha hecho que sean poco creíbles.
Tampoco puedo decir que me haya gustado del todo la forma de escribir y desarrollar una historia de Nadia Han, más que nada, teniendo en cuenta el tipo de historia que es, se exageran demasiadas cosas y se introducen elementos que no pintan nada.
Y algo que si me ha descolocado un poco es que, a pesar de ser un libro independiente y que teóricamente no es necesario leerse el primero de la serie para entender esta historia, han habido sucesos y fragmentos que no he llegado a entender porque pasaban en el libro anterior.
También es verdad que The Daredevil tampoco es una obra nefasta, a mi sinceramente me gustó como empezó pero luego he sentido que estaba leyendo un batiburrillo de cosas que no tenían mucho sentido. A mi personalmente la historia no me ha generado nada, no considero que esté bien ni mal, siento que es una historia normalita para leersela una vez y ya.

Royce and Michelle were fun and interesting to follow! I liked how Michelle was able to stand up for herself, and not a "weak damsel in distress" type most of the time. It did have some moments where I felt the characters were relying on each other in an unhealthy way. The story has a ton of action and suspenseful events going on. It is on the heavier side for trigger warnings and ive listed them. Its definitely one of those, "It wouldn't happen in real life" books. But I mean, what do you expect from a Billionaire boyfriend book? 😆 It was fun and I found it hard to stop reading! Oh, and yes it has spice!

book in the WaterFyre Rising series. Even though it is part of a series it can definately be read as a standalone and it is still a great read. The author does an amazing job with the characters. Both of them are Daredevils in their own ways but they both have secrets and demons from their past that still cause them problems today. The author deals with sensitive issues such as eating disorders but it is done in a way that shows the last effect of these problems.
Michelle Yates is a travel blogger she loves new experiences and new places and by travelling the world it keeps her monster at bay. This monster she carries if given the chance will take over her life and she is refusing to allow that to happen so to protect herself she focuses on her work and closes herself off to any other person wanting to get close to her. That is until she meets Royce Viktorsson.
Royce Viktorsson is a successful Billionaire. He wasn't always this way though and through the trauma of his past it has turned him into a risk taker. Nothing helps him heal the hole inside of him until he meets Michelle. She feels like just the person to help make him whole again, however she seems unavailable emotionally to him which makes him want to know why.
Both of these people have issues that they need to deal with but could they been the remedy to each others problems? As they start to get closer there is an additional danger lurking in the shadows. Someone is out to ruin Royce's business and with Michelle getting close to him will this also put her at risk as well?

This friends to lover romance is the second installment in the WaterFyre Rising series but can easily be read as a standalone. I thoroughly enjoyed how Han put the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride, allowing the reader to feel as if they are right there along for the ride with each character. The fake dating that quickly led to a relationship was a great addition to the story line. This one was a little slow to start for me but once it picked up I couldn’t put it down. This would not deter me from recommending The Daredevil to a friend. The mysterious twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. And the spice, OH MY! I am excited to see what installment three has in store for Han’s readers.

Book Review (ARC Review) - I have read the first book of this series, and I am happy that I read it because some of the characters will appear again in this, but even if you have not read 1st book, you can read this, you will understand, and that is why I love the author's writing.

Now, if I start with the cover and title of this book, then it gets total points as it is connected with the content.
Next, the storyline is not only about love and love-making sessions; this book is beyond that. The murder mystery, self-help, healing, defeating your own demons and how people should not give up on love are all a reader will get from this book. The story is fast-paced, and I was finding it tough to keep this book away from me, even in my busy schedule. I think Netflix must make out some series from this book series.
The characters are portrayed well. Michelle and Royce are lead characters who are friends and have different paths in life, but destiny will play its own game. Do you know how two different place people will fall in love? How were they connected before being friends? Who wants to destroy their life? What murder mystery is the key finding of the book? Book Review (ARC Review) - I have read the first book of this series, and I am happy that I read it because some of the characters will appear again in this, but even if you have not read 1st book, you can read this, you will understand, and that is why I love the author's writing.
*** To feel is to never forget, and I'll never forget how loving you has changed me.*** - This quote from the book just touched my soul. I loved this one and many more.
Now, if I start with the cover and title of this book, then it gets total points as it is connected with the content.
Next, the storyline is not only about love and love-making sessions; this book is beyond that. The murder mystery, self-help, healing, defeating your own demons and how people should not give up on love are all a reader will get from this book. The story is fast-paced, and I was finding it tough to keep this book away from me, even in my busy schedule. I think Netflix must make out some series from this book series.
The characters are portrayed well. Michelle and Royce are lead characters who are friends and have different paths in life, but destiny will play its own game. Do you know how two different place people will fall in love? How were they connected before being friends? Who wants to destroy their life? What murder mystery is the key finding of the book? This author continues to impress me with The WaterFyre Rising Series. I enjoyed The Daredevil more than book 1. And I can’t wait for it to continue, knowing there’s 5 guys who have been friends and creating a video game since they were teens. The best part is so far both books work extremely well as standalone novels, but why after reading one would you jot want to read the others?
Book 2 is a friends to lovers romance. Royce and Michelle are part of the same group of friends. Royce being one of the guys and Michelle being really good friends with Audri(Remi’s girl and Grayson’s sister) brought her into the group.
Michelle is continuously fighting the demands of her past. Eating disorders and body dysmorphia that she developed as a child growing up in the pageant world, where everyone has to be perfect. These things about her are not accepted easily in past relationships, she’s viewed as tainted. It wasn’t till some guy saved her life that she decided to fight back against her demons.
Royce doesn’t believe in love. In his eyes all it leads to is broken hearts and abandonment. Since that’s the life he lived. His dad left and his mom suffered, despite his aunt showing him all the love in the world. It wasn’t till he saved a girl's life on his property that he decided to change his path and just keep a distance.
These two are broken souls and the author does a phenomenal job showing the growth and healing they experience. These two characters were written to need each other, more than they realize. And it turned out beautifully.

Another terrific romance from Nadia Han. This is book two of the WaterFyre Rising series. Royce and Michelle's journey is a great read, especially over a long break where you just want to relax and enjoy a great read.
I love Michelle's story. And having a blogger as a main character is a clever idea to give the reader a fun trip to learn about another country. I really wanted to see these views as described. Michelle is dealing with bullying and her own personal demons. I like to positive fight by her to become a success. Add in Royce, who is a great character full of determination and a need to please and a need to help. What I got most out of reading about Royce was his need to be seen. (And who doesn't love a sexy but nice, rich guy!) A friends to lovers story is one that I have a soft spot for. I really appreciated the warnings on content and wish more books/publishers would do this. Michelle is a terrific character. There are all sorts of monsters in this story and they topics are deftly handled by Nadia Han. The tension builds well and the action is a little surprising, which adds to the reader experience.
Once again Nadia Han gives these characters a depth and grounding in reality that makes for a really speedy but entertaining (and sexy) read. A must have on the beach or lying beside a pool... or sitting next to a warm fire with a blanket and a hot chocolate. You can read book one and enjoy the start of the series, or start with this one. Daredevil does stand alone if you get to this one first.

This is the second book in the author’s WaterFyre Rising Series. I have not read the first book. Reading the first book may have given me a little more background on many of the characters.
This book focuses on Royce Viktorsson and Michelle Yates. They are acquaintances who have several mutual friends. They become closer after running into each other while working in Iceland. Royce is a business owner, billionaire, and a volcanologist. Michelle is a travel blogger. As a child she participated in beauty pageants. Both have childhood traumas that are still affecting their everyday lives and their abilities to commit to another person. Both characters face death threats and violence targeted at them.
There are several subplots intertwined in this story. They do neatly get resolved by the conclusion.
This book has suspense, a friends to lovers trope, fake dating, forced proximity, and a billionaire hero.
I did learn more about volcanoes while reading this book. Royce is researching the possibility of using lava as a new energy resource. Interesting!

This turned out to be a wonderful story! At first I was concerned about that is moving along at a slow pace with all the inter-speculation. That did bother me throughout the whole story but eventually I was able to get past it and get immersed into the story. The actual action and suspense throughout the story is attention grabbing. I loved that part of the story as well as the romance between Michelle and Royce. The connection between these two is cosmic and it is shown numerous times throughout the story. One of my favorite things is Royce’s job because of all the neat things I learned and I don't think I have run across another one in my years of reading.
This story is filled with lovely sayings and thoughts. I loved that Royce is a volcanologist because that leads to a lot of cool and sweet sayings. One of my favorite…okay there is the T-shirt sayings (so cute!) but also:
“Love flows through all of us like magma flowing through the earth. Sometimes it takes an eruption for you to understand its beauty, its power, its essence—the love that is seeped within nature.”
Just makes me go Awe! See what I mean? Just filled with wonderful sentiment.
I really enjoy all the work this author puts into these stories. So many connections, fun filled times perfectly woven through the story. I get pulled into their lives and come to care about the characters and what is going to happen. I look forward to more from this series and this author.

Absolutely loving this series so far. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store for us with the rest of the characters. This book is about Royce and Michelle. It may be one of my favorites because finally, there’s a character with my name!!! Royce and Michelle are friends from the same group so they have seen eachother and hung out as a group before but never had any time alone until, Michelle is on her way to the place she will be staying while out of the country and the car see ice breaks down. Royce is there to the rescue and takes her to her home away from home for a few weeks. They both have had an insane attraction to eachother but Michelle is the average girl and Royce is millionaire who couldn’t possibly be interested in her.
Royce and Michelle spend plenty of time together. Getting to know one another one on one. Both have baggage and could be a recipe for disaster but they help eachother navigate things in their lives. They become close. Royce has come to Michelle’s rescue more than once during the book and he’s just the total package. Someone is after Michelle for a 20 year vendetta they have against her and they go to far. Royce will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of it. Royce also has someone out there who is looking to destroy him too. This book is like an emotional rollercoaster with so many unexpected things happening and it was great from beginning to end. Cannot wait to see what other books this author will release!

I really enjoyed Michelle and Royce's story it was adventurous, emotional and mysterious all at the same time.
I loved all of the nuisances and the events that were determined to be "fate". This was a slower paced story than The Mastermind, but I feel like it was spicier? That being said, there were parts that were of graphic nature, not in description, so if you are sensitive to reading about Eating disorders, Human Trafficking (child), Suicide attempts, Body shaming, Slavery, Toxic relationships, The death of a child or Terminal illness I would go forth with caution.
Royce had a complicated past, but everything right now with his adventure business was starting to experience a series of unfortunate events. Which had him wondering if his past was catching up to him or if this was a business acquaintance that was out for blood.
Michelle who is a travel blogger who has been making her own way through recovering as a childhood beauty pageant winner and overcoming her monsters from that. Her trip to Iceland was supposed to help her get away for a bit and focus on a new client. But she never expected to see someone she knew there.
This story does capture you with beautiful analogies and I really like how deep Royce was in that aspect. Michelle was fun and witty and balanced it was a nice change of pace from what I have been reading.
So that being said if you like these tropes, I think you will enjoy this book too:

Royce is a volcanist and very much like the volcanoes he studies he’s unpredictable and volatile but there’s a healing balm out there and she’ll see the man that is hiding behind the facade ….
Michelle is a traveller and blogger and emotionally detached due to the demons that haunt her ,that gnaw away at her self confidence and self worth , she needs a man stronger than her demons ….
We met Michelle and Royce briefly in “ The Mastermind “ and I was eager to see how their story unfolded and date I say it but this book was more enjoyable than the first and that says alot !
It was fun travelling through Michelle’s eyes and it makes you itch to travel . I just want to thank NadiaHan for broaching the subject of ED , so many folks think it’s a “ teen thing” , Michelle is fortunate to have Royce on her side and his support and the way he build her just makes me love him even more ….
