Things in Locklore just keep getting more complicated! Kanata meets a dragon-girl on the run from mysterious enemies, and he and his friends agree to help her out. But soon she leads them into dangerous, uncharted territory—the homeland of dragons! Meanwhile, Kanata may have eked out a win and saved the city of Manaloch, but his actions have also drawn attention from the beings he wants to avoid the gods who sent him to the world of Locklore in the first place! What lies in store once they find the level 1 character who escaped the inescapable labyrinth?
The author thinks it's okay to have blood and gore, death and comedy at the same time...This light novel series uses misunderstandings and contradictions everywhere. Kanata, main character is a traveler from Earth that is foolish, non-committed and at the same time immature, basket-case magnet and easily manipulated by anyone he and his basket-case retinue come across. Kanata, Pomera and Phyllia travel to the Dragon Kingdom to make fools of their traditions and rules and to help the Ruler of the Skyes to take over the Dragon Kingdom... This book four felt like a filler volume. Lunaére did not really come up, so the main plot arc was not really covered. I will not continue to read this light novel series, I do not recommend this light novel series.
The story progress in this volume. We see Kanata facing new trials and challenges with his OP status. Which makes some fun moments, but at the end the story is just boring as there are not real challenges. A couple of new antagonist are introduce, but as usual they are way weaker than our main characters. The rest of the characters are not developed in this story, which is a shame. Hopefully the story and challenges will pick up in next volumes.
This book was a little harder for me to get through. It was slower paced compared to the first 3 books, which was different. There was a character who was super underutilized, and others were just over the top. A lot of miscommunication and info dumping in some areas
As all previous books the book was fantastic especially now that things are getting serious its seems now the story is gearing up for epic battles and I am loving it
