I used to loathe Crawford Cross. He was the most infuriating, cocky guy at Lake City high. And now? Now he’s the guy I’m hopelessly in love with. Even after he broke my heart. He’s still cocky, but he’s also sweet, funny, and loving. My mom says time will heal my wound. I’ll move on. But there’s no getting over Ford. This year is unlike any other. It’s my senior year, and I’m going to make every moment matter, and that includes being with Ford.
There are two things I love more than anything, football and Hannah Clark. I’m a five-star rated high school quarterback with my pick to play at almost any college in the country. I just need to pick one. But if I had to choose between football and Hannah, I’d pick Hannah without a second thought. Hannah is the most sarcastic person I’ve ever met. She’s also the kindest, sweetest, and most determined person I know. And I’m madly in love with her. Senior year is going to be a roller coaster ride, and I want Hannah next to me the entire way.
Buckle up and get ready as Hannah and Ford get excited about their senior year, football, dance, and being a couple. But they need to watch out, a fan website dedicated to Ford is about to cause all sorts of problems for Lake City High’s most popular lovebirds.
Like the first book in this series, it’s a good story that’s ruined by glaring basic grammar mistakes. I’m not talking a misplaced comma here and there - these are mistakes that make you have to stop and think about what the sentence means. Mistakes that could be fixed in a basic autocorrect review in Word. So disappointing.
1. Less crying but still too much. 2. He didn't call her baby almost the whole way through!! yayy 3. Still too much sex had to skip 4. Still a cliff hanger 5. Its like watching a train wreck in slow motion you wanna look away but you cant lol 6. These teenagers are so frickin dramatic gah get over it
I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good love story. It's a bit mature in some parts, so I would not recommend it to young readers. However, it is a tasteful book with a good story.
The love continues. The school year starts and Hannah and Ford aren’t technically together. But they still love each other. They’re better about who they’re hanging out with. The guys stay away from the drama girls and they learn about the website.
Ford and Jack decide to tell Hannah’s dad about it so he can get it taken down. They have a good beginning to school and are back together. All is well. And then they figure out who’s been driving the truck and taking pictures outside of Fords house.
Ford knows something’s going on with the help of Jack between Hannah’s parents and his. He decides to commit to play football for the university that Hannah wants to go to. And Ford proposes! The next morning their parents make them break up (mostly hannnahs) because they don’t want her to end up pregnant, and the website to ruin fords football career. And they find out that the website has been taken down
Hannah realized that Ford knew what they were trying to do. So they just have to bide their time and make it through this obstacle. We end on Jack and Hannah in the treehouse. They talk about how grateful they are that they could be real siblings in the last month, and he tells her that him and Tyler have also committed to the same university that Ford did. And then she tells him about the promise ring, to which he responds with “I know”.
I loved this story so much, so cute and such an easy read. I’m so excited for part three. To figure out more about the bergeson kid that’s stalking them and about the anonymous number.

The book was all over the place and quite a bit dramatic at times. It’s a bit of chaos. There’s a lot of sneaking and sleeping together quite a bit of language. And bullying. I can’t remember if it’s the first book or this book but talks about how the MMC knows what sex does to a girl yet he slept with at least six people. There’s a lot of sneaking around and it’s another reason why my teenage children will not be having sleepovers with opposite genders.
Oh gosh what a book. So much happening but Hannah and Ford never lose the love they have for each other even if they spend time apart. My only critique is that the ending felt a little rushed but there is another book after this one so it could be setting up for the events in the next book. Overall, another book I could not put down.

I love Ford and Hannah, and I’ve been waiting for this book to come out! They’re story is just too cute. I can’t wait for the next book to come out to see how their story ends.
First love and heartbreak and growing up…this book is so good and I’m about to start the final installment, The Forever Bet, and I think I’ll be really sad once I leave the world of Hannah and Ford. I’m invested…
I really enjoyed this book so much!! There nothing like a young love and getting into the University you want!!! I can’t wait to read the next book in the Lake City High
It is good, but it just goes back and forth of the characters being in a relationship. I’m invested in the story and have to know if they end up together or not. Can’t wait to read books 3-5 of this series!
Poorly written— so many grammatical errors. The ending really just doesn’t make sense. Also, the whole proposal thing really ruined the entire book for me.

Really enjoyed the first book but this one was even better. Their relationship is goals and Ford is absolutely amazing. A dream guy. Can’t wait to read the rest of their story.
I rated the second book in the trilogy 4 stars because even though I enjoyed the story, the grammar mistakes were annoying. Nearly every page had something that would affect the flow of the narrative. I will probably read the next book, only because I've invested time in the story so far.
