Waking up with no memories of who I was only to realize I had lost everything, was almost more than I could bare. I didn't even know if Alexander and Tristan survived or if the others made it out of that church alive.
I was a tool that the Secret Society and the Council wanted to use for their dirty work. They thought they could brainwash and drug me to use as they pleased. But I was done being an instrument in their war. Embracing my reaper abilities was my only way out. My only focus became making it back to my men and taking down the corrupt figures in power.
Could I help my guys remember me? Or would I be fighting the war alone? How deep did the corruption go?
One thing was for certain, they were all going to hell and I would be the one to deliver them. They would regret the day they took my whole world from me.
I loved this book, and I’m so sad that the series is over (though AJ promises more from this universe, so it isn’t goodbye forever! There is a great teaser at the end of the book.)
Juliana has been taken by corrupt members of the Council. They place her in a compound where they attempt to drug and brainwash her, then train her to fulfill some master plan. She out-maneuvers them and gets released back to Brookview Academy with her memories and faculties intact, but her bondmates do not remember her. All memory of her has been erased by a memory spell. I loved the level of angst as Juliana navigated the memory loss.
There is never a dull moment in this final book of the series. Juliana must fight to get her soulmates’ and heartmate’s memories back before she can fight the corrupted Council and the secret society to fulfill Hecate’s task to cleanse the witch ranks. She must pretend to act the part to learn enough of the plan to intervene. And she must keep everyone alive. One of her bondmates must make a sacrifice to fulfill their task. Is it worth the cost? Can they survive the cost?
There are lots of great steamy moments to be found – obviously, you have to drown the bad memories with good (or even great) memories. That calls for lots and lots of s3x to make hot, sweaty, sticky memories. In all sorts of combinations. There are single scenes, group scenes, and multiple scenes that include MM. Even a twin sandwich, so I hope you’re hungry.
This has been a great PNR series. I cannot wait to see what else the universe offers.
Ahh I was trying to savor the pages as I finished up the last installment of this series! I didn’t want to see it end 😭
After the cliffhanger from Unbreakable , and Beatrix revealing her true nature, this book starts out with us finding out what happened to Juliana! They have taken her memories (or so they believe) hoping to return her to the academy, of just a shell of a reaper, so they can have her do their bidding! But our girl Juliana is too smart an has too much love in her heart to let anyone over power her an take her mates from her! When she is returned to the school, I was on pins an needles, I didn’t know what was going to happen, I knew I would be distraught if her mates didn’t recognize her! Juliana is on a mission, get her family back together, and take out the bad guys, the ones on top orchestrating everything!
AJ has wrapped this series up fabulously! It is definitely one of my favorite academy an RH series now! We get to see Tristin added to the quad of guys, an while it was an iffy situation at first, an he wasn’t what the others were “a true mate” he fits in perfectly, an they can see something was always missing before he joined! Just as much spice and suspense, Fractured keeps you on the edge of your seat and breathing heavy! And Jacob (my favorite mate) a GOD 🥰 yes daddy🤪 I would gladly worship him!
I received an arc of this book in exchange for my honest review, these opinions are all my own
I freaking loved this book. This series is one of my favorite reads of the year! This is RH done so right. We have a tough fmc and hot, possessive men who are 100% in her corner.
After the cliffhanger ending we are taken right into the action in this one. Juliana and her men don't have it easy. She must once again fight for her guys and their enemies haven't made it easy. Held captive and their memories altered there is no love between them when they meet again. Initially some believe she's an enemy. A heartbreaking sacrifice must be made.
Seriously this book was a fantastic end to this series. We get action, romance, and so many 🌶 scenes. I loved the characters rediscovering their relationships. I'm sad to see the end of their story but I'm so glad they get their HEA.
I'm so freaking excited to read the stories of some of the characters introduced. I'm actually hoping we get so many books in this universe. Literally give everyone a book I'll read them.
This one broke my heart in so many ways but eventually put it back together by the end. Got me teary quite a few times. I loved how this series ended, I truly thought it was perfect. There is a lot of unexpected twists and turns that left me wanting to read more to see what happens. Evil Beatrix finally got what was coming to her and it was so satisfying. I am going to miss Julianna and her men so much.
Good Golly Miss Molly Fractured is intense. Juliana gets kidnapped and the takers want to brainwash her but it doesn't work she escapes back to the Academy but her Men don't remember her. This causes a lot of emotions and tension and fun also IMO. I love Juliana taunting Gage hehe. I also enjoyed that even though the guys have lost their memories they are drawn to her. This book was amazing and a definite reread one of the best trilogies I've read to date.
I Didn't Want It To End Very few books have evoked the emotions this did. I fussed and definitely cried. I had my own point I wanted the book to stop but beyond happy I pushed through! We finally see Jules & our guys take on their mission for Hecate! All I can say is have a stress ball & tissues and prepare to not want to put the book down! A wonderful journey! Such growth & love among our characters.
The finale to an amazing series, while introduction to new characters for future tales? Two are confirmed at the end while I am holding my breath in regards to another pairing. The sparks that fly… but I am getting sidetracked here. Grab your tissues and get ready to binge because this emotional rollercoaster has no brakes. A surprising twist at the end, I can say the HEA is one not expected.
I absolutely loved this trilogy and this book was even better than the other two. This book made my cry and I don’t mean just get tears although that happened as well. I love Jules and her men, while I’m sad their story has come to an end and what an amazing end at that I look forward to learning more about some of the others I have met along the way.
We pick up in this book right where the last book left off. Juliana is still or bad 🍑 FMC who is trying to build her powers and find her place in her world and with her mates. All the while, trying to weed out the corruption within the school and society and untangle the riddles that the goddesses to make sure they win the battles that is coming.
I loved this trilogy and how the whole storyline came together. The different personalities between Juliana and her mates could pose problems for some but work so well with each other.
The story is definitely handled the best here than in the rest of the series—though it's still full of...not even gratuitous, but just outright unnecessary sex scenes. It was at the point where I started skimming because I was far more interested in the imminent destruction of the magic society than homegirl getting eaten out for the umpteenth time. Anyway, her powers were cool and I enjoyed the worldbuilding, but overall the book and the series all sits firmly at "okay".
A good ending to a series that I really enjoyed. There was never a dull moment in this book and it definitely kept me on my toes. I’m looking forward to checking out more in this world.
