🍷This is the second book in the Maybe series and I was super excited to see what happens in this one. In the first book we came across different characters and Harley was a complete different person in that book, it was mostly about her battles and Jay but this book is completely different. . . I wasn't sure of what to expect when I began but you truly meet the same characters with complete different persona and characteristics. It's a very thrilling read that's totally unpredictable and I was literally praying for the characters to not make any wrong decisions.
The world builds are no too fast or not too slow, I enjoyed the fact the author really wanted her readers to understand the enthralling world created by her and still to me it felt so quick and fast paced. . . My heart goes to those characters who didn't got everything they deserve. The second half has to be my most favourite, I wish it never ending, it was a complete escape and I definitely think it was truly worth the wait. The book is a rollercoaster and a blend of a lot of elements, I actually visualised while reading it and I definitely recommend it everyone. . . Go for it. Rating: 4.25⭐
I'd like to thank the author for giving me an ARC of this book to review

It felt good to be back in this world again after reading book one. This one was a quick read, which is awesome. Carrying on from the events of book one there was a lot to unpack with lots of shock moments sprinkled throughout. That ending was heart wrenching.
I really liked Harley's character growth in this book, she was more fierce and not as timid and was coming into her own. Then there was Grayson, I loved seeing more of him and his intetnal struggles. I found Jay an a-hole but there was some redeeming qualities about him.
However, this didn't grip me like book one did. With the introduction of a playlist, I kept being torn out of the story during high impact moments with song titles and personally felt these could have been better utilised as a footnote instead of mid-scene commentary. Some parts were a little confusing too.
It was a good addition to the series, aside from the negatives. And I do recommend people check this series out if you love werewolves.
