Redemption
The killer felt the overwhelming urge to kill again. It crept in like a silent lover, warm tendrils setting in until the need surpassed reason. The next depraved victim who slipped from the shadows would soon feel the wrath of a sharp blade.
The search continued for one particular person, but ridding the world of the dregs of society eased the rage. Lurking undetected in the shadows until now.
Now a detective had connected the murders, and the hunt was on. One hunting to catch a serial killer, the other hunting the one person responsible for the bloodshed. Who will succeed?

After reading and loving author J.E., Friend's debut novel "Design of Deception" I was thrilled to read "Redemption" the 1st book in a trilogy!
Edge of your seat, page-turning suspense as we follow a killer along the Trans-Canada Highway who is murdering truckers that don't deserve to live.
Highly Recommended and I can hardly wait for the next book in the trilogy!

If you like serial killers this one's for you! Someone is on a rampage stalking truckers along the Trans-Canada Highway. This novel has quite a few characters and we get small glimpses into the lives, loves and tribulations of a trucker's life. I suspected early on who the serial killer was but it didn't spoil the story. Looking forward to what's next in this series and finding out a bit more about the characters, particularly Ryan.

Outstanding characters and a mystery that kept me guessing
What impressed me most was how well the author balanced character depth with suspense. Maggie, Colby, Ryan, Noelle, Frank, and Audrey all bring something unique to the story, and the way their lives intersect feels natural and meaningful. I kept suspecting everyone at different points, which made the reveal even more satisfying.
