Jonas has been lusting/crushing over Jamie since the first time he's met her. Which is a no no since she's enemy number one. A sports gossip who writes stories about his team Mates who don't trust her. And he is smack dab in one. If she runs it. Him in a sex club. But he doesn't care since she's there and it's not for a story. He helps her out and has a moment of weakness and pushes her away.
As for Jamie she never wanted to do gossip stuff she wanted to do real sports talks. But her boss is a sexist jerk. Wanting those stories and she won't give up the names or Jonas at a sex club because she cares to much even if he doesn't care for her.
Now Jonas is going after his girl he doesn't care about no code and knows he made a mistake when he pushed her away. Now it's Jamie who's hesitant because she doesn't want a pitty anything.

this is still good but a bit more serious than the first 3 books in this series. jonas (31) and jamie (23/24) have been in love with each other for almost a year.
jamie's a sports reporter, but her dick boss wanted her to focus on all gossip instead of the actual sport. wanting to prove herself and hoping to actually be able to do what she always wanted, she accepted the job even though she hates it. but she got tired of doing that and she's been in love with jonas, she doesn't want him to think of her any less because of her job.
jonas has been in love with jamie since he first saw her, but she always avoid him every time they were in close proximity. despite him thinking that she's the enemy (he didn't know that jamie hated her job he can't stop his feelings for her.
then one night they met is a smex club, jonas was looking for her sister in there and jamie was out looking for a potential scoop. she was harassed by someone and jonas saved her. then something snaps and they decide that it's time to acknowledge what has been brewing for the past months between them.
this is still good but something was missing between this novella. probably it's the tension build up between them, idk. nonetheless, i still like the story and will still recommend it.

Short, sweet, and sexy.
I loved that Jonas supported Jamie in her career so much.
The plot was super simple, of course. Basically zero drama.
The sex was hot with just a hint of a power exchange. Jonas had that soft Dom, commanding thing going on that was super hot.
It was exactly what I wanted it to be.
I can wait to finally see Kris and Kelsey get together though. They’ve been dancing around each other since the beginning of this series.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Jonas and Jamie have known each other for a year, but never thought the other was interested. When Jonas goes to a BDSM club looking for his sister, Parker Ice Storm he runs into Jamie. Jonas finds another man trying to manhandle her, so he steps in. Even though they are both wearing mask they know who each other is. Jonas escorts Jamie out and tells her to go home. Jamie report gossip for the hockey stars, but it's not what she wants to do. Jamie went to Harvard to become a sports reporter, but her boss has her reporting the gossip. The next day Jonas knows he has to give Kelsey Cold as Ice a heads up about where he was last night, before it's in the news. Jonas finds out about Jamie's job, how her boss is so he sends her flowers when he finds out no one knows where he was last nigh. When Jamie receives the flowers she can't believe Jonas sent them, he included his number so she message him a thanks. Jonas ends up asking Jamie if she'll have dinner with him, but because of her job they end up at Jonas's ranch. When Jamie tells him he doesn't have to pretend he's interested in her, Jonas takes her into his home and shows her. Jonas show Jamie his DVR and all the recordings he has of her in them. Jonas tells her she's not the only one that been watching, he's been watching her too. Jonas kisses Jamie, and she tells him she wants them both naked. Jonas carries Jamie to his bedroom where he pleasures her and then they make love. A while later they eat dinner and they talk. A few hours later Jamie tells Jonas she should go, but he tells her to stay with him. The next morning Jonas asks Jamie what time she gets off work, she has filming to do today so it could be late. Jonas finds more out about Jamie's boss and doesn't like him to much. When Jamie gets to work she has a package that was left in her office, she finds one of Jonas's jerseys, and a note asking her to come to his game. When she calls him she lets him know she'll be at the game. A few hours later, Jamie's boss barges into her office. He wants to know if she got the name of one the players girlfriends, Theo Ice Prince girlfriends. Jamie tells her boss she know her name but she's not giving it, it's their right to have some privacy. Jamie's boss threatens her, if she doesn't give the name up he's going to put a video of her and Jonas making out in the parking lot. Jamie tells her boss she quits, she's been wanted to do it for a year. Jamie tells him if he airs the video she going to tell the whole world about how he sexual harassed her, the gender discrimination, and the bullying he's done to her. Jamie gathers her things and walks out of her office. Jonas's is at practice, one more game for them to be in the playoffs. Jonas's captain is working them hard. I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was a phenomenal enemies to lovers romance. It was the first book in the series that I have read and I hadn’t even finished it before I went online and bought the rest of the series. Jonas and Jamie had such amazing chemistry and I loved the way they brought out the best in each other. I can’t wait to go back and read the other books in the series.
I have now also listened to the audiobook version and I still love this so much. The narrators did a fantastic job.

Jonas has just been caught by the local sports gossip reporter, Jamie in a BDSM sex club! He’s there looking for his sister and sees Jamie getting harassed by a member, he steps in to save her. Jamie is awe struck that Jonas is here at a sex club, she was talked into coming with a friend who ditched her for a hook up. Jamie is walking around looking at everyone imagining it’s her and her crush hockey star Jonas doing scenes when the real life man steps in to help her. He hustles her outside and they share a kiss but he knows he has to stop so he send her home. The next day he sends flowers and asks her out. She thinks it‘s so she won’t out him for being at the club but he tells her that’s not it, he wants to be with her. Jamie finds that hard to believe, she reports on team gossip they all have to hate her. It’s not what she set out to do she has a Harvard degree and her father was a hall of fame sports reporter. She learned everything about sports from him. But her boss has her running stupid fluff pieces. She hates her job and finds the courage to quit when her boss threatens to expose her and Jonas. He saw them on the security footage, Jonas had stopped by her office later that day and they get close and personal in the parking lot before heading to his house. Jamie’s still not sure about Jonas until he shows her his file of every broadcast she has ever done, he is in love with her and is not going to let her go. They have their first time together that night and it’s hot. She comes by the stadium after she quits and Jonas comforts her and gets their team publicist to help get her boss fired. The team accept her as one of the family and also offer her a job as a reporter of the broadcasting team. She accepts the offer for the job and Jonas’s proposal. Epilogue seven years later with three kids and Jamie getting offered an anchor spot on the broadcast team.
I loved how sweet Jonas was to her, a little demanding with a touch of dominance, very hot. Jamie had honor even though her job was to expose players secrets. She stood up for what she believed in and Jonas had her back.

Jonas Michaud is the wild child of the Nashville Predators Hockey team. He is also the largest player, on the team. The book opens up with him and Kellen walking masked through a sex club looking for, Jonas’, twenty-one years old sister, Parker. Who by the way was never there in the first place, but instead at a wine festival. A festival called, Dionysus.
How was he supposed, to know Gone to Dionysus, ‘don't wait up’ was for the festival? He had never heard of that festival, however, the BDSM club, Kellan talks about. All. The. Time. And it has the same name so he was there to pull his baby sister out of that place. Instead, he runs into someone he never, ever thought he would find in a place like that. Not only that if she sees him she could ruin his career.
Now, that would be a real shame. Because he has wanted her, since the day he saw her at the arena. Jamie Knight is a gossip sports reporter. Despite her job overall she is a nice person. So, seeing her at the club, saving her from an uncomfortable situation, and kissing her. This left him nervous that he would be front-page fodder. Yet, after twelve hours, Kelsey doesn't bust his balls.
Kelsey feels there may be a mutual attraction, between Jamie and, Jonas. She says Jamie’s boss is a royal ass so, for her not, to run with it says a lot. Because what he doesn't know, is her boss is looking for, Theo’s girlfriend’s name, she knows it, but not giving it up. The flowers, Jonas sends her are beautiful, but she feels like he’s trying, to smooth things over. For her seeing him at the club.
A dinner invite is exciting, but she wants it because of, the way she feels about him. She feels he wants it, to stay out of trouble. He meets her at her car after work, to personally invite her, to dinner, again. His kiss by her car changes her mind and starts their romance. I so enjoyed this story. I think it's the way the team, as a whole rallied on behalf of, Jamie and the women, as an entirety.

Kelsey feels there may be a mutual attraction, between Jamie and, Jonas. She says Jamie’s boss is a royal ass so, for her not, to run with it says a lot. Because what he doesn't know, is her boss is looking for, Theo’s girlfriend’s name, she knows it, but not giving it up. The flowers, Jonas sends her are beautiful, but she feels like he’s trying, to smooth things over. For her seeing him at the club.
A dinner invite is exciting, but she wants it because of, the way she feels about him. She feels he wants it, to stay out of trouble. He meets her at her car after work, to personally invite her, to dinner, again. His kiss by her car changes her mind and starts their romance. I so enjoyed this story. I think it's the way the team, as a whole rallied on behalf of, Jamie and the women, as an entirety.

Achei que isso iria atrapalhar a minha leitura (ainda mais porque eu já havia lido o livro protagonizado pelo dono do tal clube e não curti muito a história), mas passado esse primeiro capítulo, o livro me surpreendeu e muito. Tanto que ele entrou para a minha lista de favoritos. Amei a Jamie e como ela mesma resolveu o problema com seu chefe, se impôs e não deixou ser intimidada. I’ve been waiting for this book since reading the first few books in the series and it did not disappoint. I was so excited to see a Canadian character and Jonas did us proud. He’s chaotic, crazy in the best of ways and oh so protective. You can’t start a book off by a misunderstanding in a sex club without adding a little kink and a whole lot of dominance, and our man’s got that and more. Jamie was the perfect mix of spine of steel and vulnerable woman. I loved watching her blossom into who she always wanted to be with the support she deserved. They were perfect together and I adored the fact she was the one to centre him and get his soft side. After ignoring their feelings for months, this story gave them the ultimate HEA. No cheating, no OM/OW drama, insta-love, virgin H and an epilogue 7 years later. I love how Nichole’s books can talk about serious topics or problems in society and yet still be so loving and safe. We see some old characters (and the banter is hilarious as always) and some newer ones that have books coming up. Cannot wait to read Kris and Kelsey’s story!

I have loved this series so far so wasn't surprised when this was just as good.
If you like sports romance, Alpha and possessive MC and a lot of sweet loving then this is your book. These books always make me feel good. Nichole is such a good writer for these kind of love story..

Jonas is a star hockey player and Jamie is a gossip reporter. They've both liked one another since they first met but neither one knows that. Until one night Jamie lets it slip that she hasn't been reporting on the shenanigans Jonas gets into to protect him. All bets are off for both of them now. The love, steam and connection between these two 🥰. They both enjoy a little kink. When Jonas and the team threaten a blackout to stick up for Jamie it made me love him even more. Even though I liked this book from beginning to the hea I had to take a star off for the amount of swearing. I know some swear words are inevitable in this genre of books but for me it was over the top.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a really good steamy, yet still sweet, sports romance. Jonas and Jamie had that chemistry and connection that was worth fighting for. Gossip isn't really Jamie's thing even though it's demanded of her. It wasn't what she imagined for her career but it does bring Jonas into her life. He's big in size and heart and suits her perfectly. He would give her the world if he could, in and out of the bedroom. I liked their story a lot. It wasn't too dramatic but they still had their obstacles. High heat, passion and the perfect amount of friendship and sports

I love, love, love hockey romance! And Nichole Rose's newest entry in her Playing for Keeps hockey series, Ice Giant, is just what the doctor ordered! Jonas Michaud was considered the crazy Canadian whose always good for a laugh. Who would have thought that he had a dominating side to him? I loved the heroine, Jamie, so much! She was so sweet and truly had a heart of gold. The two of them unknowingly loved one another from afar, but did not wait long to make it real once they finally met. Nichole Rose brought the heat as usual along with a great story and depth of characters. I highly recommend this book!

great read
I knew once I started reading this I wasn’t going to put it down. This was so good. Jonas and Jamie are so cute together. Jamie was raised and taught to respect others privacy, but her leech of a boss wanted the opposite. I am glad she stood her ground and Jonas made sure she didn’t stand a lone. I loved the epilogue where they get ready to go back where it all begin. I am so looking forward to Kris and Kelsey story. I most likely will cry like I did with this one. This series has you laughing, crying, and deep in thought. Great read.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED! I've been eagerly awaiting Jamie and Jonas's story, especially when they were hinted at in the last book, "Ice Prince." Since both had been introduced in the first book of the series, we received glimpses into their characters. Their story did not disappoint. I rate it 10 stars out of 5!! I loved it!! Where else can you read about a crazy, beloved goat along with visiting past characters and the rest of the zany team?? I hope Nichole Rose keeps going with this series. She's hinted at another couple: Kellan and Parker.

I LOVED Jonas and Jamie! They are my favorite couple in this hockey series. Her job feels like it would be incredibly draining and demoralizing. She shoulders it like any lady boss would but it keeps her from acting on her attraction to Jonas. Jonas is a prankster, a little reckless but not mean. He just enjoys his life. When he sees Jamie in a sex club, he can't help himself. He has to step in and help when a guy won't take no for an answer. He has been terribly attracted to her for a while but it would have seemed like he was sleeping with the enemy. I adored this story, it made my day!

Ice Giant is a hot and oh so melt in your seat read with Jonas, a hockey player, and Jaime, a determined journalist. Jonas had notice Jaime, but because of what she writes she is off limits. Jonas wants to be more than a gossip writer and has done her best to keep all Jonas's story on the down low.

Good book ... wished the fmc would have not gave in so quickly. I love Nichole Rose books but sometimes her fmcs never make the mmcs work for them ..the fmc always gives in. It's frustrating... I needed her to stand her ground. He called her his enemy n was a little rude to her. He wouldn't have gone for her if it wasn't for the chat with kelsey . So he never tended to go for her . He was willing to be a good little boy for his teammates bc they thought the worst of her. No cheating , hea ... fmc is always pure, lol.

I’ve been waiting for Jamie’s story. I was always weary of her since the first story but knew there was more than what meets the eye. I love that Kelsey slaps some sense into these men on the team.
Jonas, oh my goodness, he’s a dream come true in all the right ways. I love the guys of this team!

This is a continuation of a series but can be read as a standalone, but it does have references to other characters from earlier books. The main characters find themselves in a situation that is not the best for either of them, but it does bring their relationship to another level. The characters are great, there are funny moments and of course a happily ever after.

This is by far my favorite of the series so far. You got to see Jamie at work in the other stories but you got to see the real her in this story. She is so much more than a gossip reporter. Jonas was always the gruff one and now we know why. He was secretly in love with someone he though was the enemy essentially.
I loved the club scene and every moment that followed. They were super spicy, just the way I like it.

I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, this Curvy Girl Hockey Romance series is Nichole Rose at her finest. Read this somewhere not in public because it was hot af!🔥 Jonas and Jaime were steaming up my kindle while I reading their story. There was a little bit of resistance to the relationship by Jaime, but we quickly got to see these to being so deeply in love with one another. All I can say is this was a swoon fest, and I couldn’t get enough out it!

Such a great read. So glad to see another team member get his story. Jonas was just trying to fly under the radar and grab his sister from a gentleman's club. He runs into Jamie, who he has been in love with for a long time. Things get heated between these two but with Jamie being a reporter, Jonas doesn't let it escalate for fear of blow back with the team. Feelings are revealed and Jonas jumps all in with Jamie. Loved it! Can't wait to see who is next.
