Love in Autumn #5

Healing With You

Rate this book
Charlotte had been staring at her eviction notice when she got a call from an attorney, telling her she'd inherited a house from a great uncle she'd never known.

She jumped at the opportunity, and she didn't even care how run down it was. The house needed a lot of work, but it was paid off, the taxes were paid up, and the only other bill she had to worry about was the light bill. It was a Godsend.

What she hadn't expected to somewhat come with the house was Heeler Jessup. He apparently always came out to check on the old place after her uncle passed, and when he laid his eyes on Charlotte, it was game over.

The man was head over heels for her.

The only problem was, she was running from something dark, and she covered up her fear and abandonment issues with lots of snark and hatred.

But nothing scared Heeler away, and he was determined to make Charlotte his, no matter how long or how much work it took.

*This is the fifth and final book in the Love in Autumn series. This book can be read as a standalone, but if you want to know and understand the other characters, I suggest reading the other four books in the series first.*

If you’re looking for happily ever after, you’ll find it here.

T. Thomas is a sweet, clean romance author of emotionally gripping books that always end in love and happiness.

She has been writing since she was thirteen years old. She enjoys spending all of her spare time writing, but she absolutely detests editing and proofreading.

T. Thomas can normally be found in her little room of her own that she calls her "woman cave" writing her next book and putting off editing and proofreading for as long as possible.

The characters seemed so real I could imagine each of them, intrigued to find out more about Charlotte's life and how she would end up doing. This book was so nice to read as it was a clean, pure romance that just like in real life you could get to know someone(in this case, the characters) instead of just reading about the graphic nature many write about that happens in a bedroom before people get to know eachother or are serious about one another. I couldnt tell if the author was female or male, which is just a thing I sometimes have fun trying to figure out if I want more of a challenge. I am looking forward to reading more of this authors works!

Charlotte struggles through life, both financially and emotionally. She ends up evicted from her apartment because she is short on rent. She unexpectedly receives a phone call stating her uncle, which she never knew she had, left her a house and property. It’s pretty rundown, but then Heeler, a friend of her uncle’s, offers to help her. She’s not used to the small town or help they offer without strings.

This was a great story with engaging characters. I was so involved, I read it in one day!.

Charlotte’s life hasn’t been easy, in fact, it was a nightmare. When she is evicted from the flat she lives in, she got an inheritance. The house needs lots of work as it is nearly in ruins, but it is hers and nobody can evict her from it.
Heeler is a compassionate man. Raised up by Charlotte’s great uncle, he checks on the house and on her. Never again she is going to be alone.
A short, emotional story with all the elements to enjoy; good characters, caring neighbours, a good storyline, and lots of love.

Book 5 is a sweet, small town, friends to lovers, feel good romance. Great storyline with strong characters, great chemistry and best friends. Plenty of drama and romance in this one. The author continues to tie the book series together beautifully. I highly recommend this wonderful book.

This was a very interesting book. It had some serious issues in it and touched on them but focused on Charlotte and Heeler. I enjoyed this story.

Awww

Charlotte and Jessups story was amazing! T thomas really knows how to write good story lines and everything to keep you turning the page! I loved this story line between the 2 characters and how Charlotte was a bit tough to break through her shell after all the trauma she went through. The ending was perfect for this book!

Charlotte is one of those characters you love to hate and then you root for her because she’s so relatable she’s not happy go lucky she has real problems and a wall a mile high but she grows and it’s beautiful to watch
