Dark, Gritty and Oh, So Good!!

Shadow is one of the Devils Handmaidens you don’t want to know because she does all the unthinkable work for the club that most wouldn’t think of doing. There is a reason for her darkness which came from the time since she was a little girl. She’s only here now because she and the Devils Handmaidens MC Pres, Tink, found each other and Shadow was brought into Tink’s family.

Panther is a man beyond belief with the love and patience he shows Shadow especially as her past comes to light. I also loved what these two had in common with trying to rid the earth of despicable people who work in the skin trade even doing the unthinkable with little children.

If you want an underdog to root for Shadow is the woman for you. My heart broke with everything she had to endure and then finding out the truth could have destroyed most people but not Shadow since she figured she was already broken beyond repair. That’s what makes Panther so special in this book because he was there for her no matter what she needed.

Shadow

I know this is just a book, but I know people are truly evil. My hats off to Shadow, who is so badass, despite her trauma and Panther who made her feel cherished and beautiful all the time.

Shadow has a lot of ghosts and things that has happened to her. She keeps everything close to the vest and really doesn't let anyone all the way in. So when she meets Panther, a Navajo, he's hard to resist, but can she be what he needs? Plenty of action and a HEA.

With her creation of the Devil's Handmaidens MC, D.M. Earl has left an indelible mark within the genre as these women are larger than life and take no crap from anyone. They've all experienced trauma in their lives and have dealt with it in their own ways. For Shadow (Zoey), she's become the enforcer of her club, doling out pain when necessary and getting one bit of revenge at a time. She's not fully living though, determined to save others from the pain she experienced leaving her a shell of herself, keeping her emotions in check and showing only stoicism to the world. The day she's introduced to Panther is the day everything changes for her, shows her a new way to live, if she's willing to open herself up to another person again. Their journey is a powerful one, one that's both sweet and sensual, and their pairing kept me glued to the pages. Their journey put me through the emotional wringer, had me feeling everything they went through right alongside them and has me thinking of them still.

From the first page to the last this was a gritty read full of raw emotions and a backstory that was painful to read. Shadow's past was vividly depicted with her mental and physical scars more than obvious. With markings that are both a warning to others as well as a way to isolate herself from the world, Shadow's story becomes unforgettable with her being the perfect heroine. She's unconventional but she's someone you won't forget. She's a badass, a take no prisoners heroine, who wears her tough exterior like a piece of clothing...comfortable but with a way to change if she's willing to take a chance. On a whole this story let Shadow shine, took her to the lowest of emotional depths to the highest of highs as her story raced to a conclusion. Panther is her perfect pairing, a calming influence amidst the emotional and physical chaos of her life. He's a strong support to her, one of the few people who've accepted her as she is, never judging her or finding her lacking. With each turn of the page their connection becomes everything! Their encounters are sweet, sensual, and at times they're erotically-charged too. I do wish though that more about him would've been revealed. I wish that more about his background would've been shown so I could feel an even stronger connection to him.

On a whole this book had me on the edge of my seat from the first page to the last. It was emotional, raw and gritty, and suspenseful as the Devil's Handmaiden's MC once again dealt with those hurting others for their own personal gain. The perspective of an all-female MC was unique and it pulled me in wholeheartedly, giving readers a heroine who won't soon be forgotten. It's another winner from D.M. Earl, another well-crafted tale that has me ready for more and excitedly counting down the days until another book in this series is released!

3.75stars- SHADOW is the second instalment in DM Earl’s contemporary, adult DEVIL’S HANDMAIDENS MC dark, all-female MC series. This is SAA Zoey ‘Shadow’ Jeffries, and Navajo horse rancher Panther’s story line . SHADOW can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

MANY TRIGGERS

Told from several first person perspectives (Zoey and Panther) SHADOW focuses on the take down of a pedophile ring in Timber Ghost, Montana. Panther and his ‘brother’ Avalanche, both former US Navy SEALs, hunt those who prey on children and teens but Panther is unaware of just how close he is to discovering the truth about the woman he loves, a woman who has suffered at the hands of a psychotic monster. A call to exchange victims for money finds the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, the Intruders MC, as well as Panther and Avalanche, walking into an ambush, an ambush that pulls Zoey back into the past, where she and Panther will come face to face with our heroine’s nightmare. As Panther and Zoey find themselves unwilling victims of a serial predator, their family and friends set into motion a plan to take down of the people at the top.

The relationship between Zoey and Panther is one of mutual attraction but Zoey’s past has rendered our heroine a shell; a woman on a mission but a woman broken and destroyed by torture and abuse. Panther has loved Zoey ‘Shadow’ Jeffries for as long as he can remember but Panther must bide his time in an effort to gain Zoey’s trust, and prove she is worthy of his love. The $ex scenes are passionate but unconventional in the wake of past trauma and abuse.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and determined secondary and supporting characters many of whom we met in the previous story line. We are reintroduced to Tink and Noodles, Glory, Raven, Rebel, Peanut, Hearbreaker, Hannah, Stud and Freak, among a few; several members of the Intruders MC, including their president Tank Rivers, and his wife Diane; and the introduction of Sheriff George. The requisite evil has many faces.

SHADOW is a dark, gritty, dramatic, intense and traumatic story of terror and abuse; power and control; addiction and obsession; acceptance and love. The premise is tragic, disquieting, heart breaking and may be difficult for some readers; the romance is passionate but atypical; the characters are broken, struggling, and determined.

Heed my warning about triggers-they are unnecessarily relentless and graphic

This is the second book in the series. They can be read as standalone books, but I think they are better read in order. Shadow has been through an incredible amount of things. Things that would make the average person give up a long time ago. Instead Shadow it has made Shadow want to take down those like the people who hurt her. Now her bestie has found her long lost daughter and met the man of her dreams. Where does Zoey/Shadow fit into her life now. Not to mention Zoey has met a man of her own, Panther. Zoey and Panther don’t have a normal relationship. But it works for them. Panther is also working to take down the same type of people as Zoey and her club. Things are getting interesting when the group Panther has been trying to take down beings asking for Zoey to be at the meet up. How do they even know about her? It seems that Zoey’s past is coming back for her. Everyone is going to do their best to figure out who wants Zoey and why. I loved getting to learn more about Zoey. The things she has been through is horrific. She is strong and a force of nature. However, when it comes to Panther there is another side of her. I am pulling for Zoey and Panther. He is so patient with her. He never pushes her for more than she is comfortable with. I love these characters. Tink and Zoey have an incredible bond. I can’t wait to read more books in this series. D.M. Earl has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I can’t recommend her books enough. Fantastic job D.M. Earl.

Shadow/Zoey & Panther

Finding Shadow's story explains a lot. While Panther and Shadow don't seem to be your normal couple they understand each other in a way many would not. Seeing them find … well read to find out what they find.

The book is filled with amazing characters who accomplish amazing things. Plenty of steam, friends who are club brothers and sisters as well as blood relatives. Never a dull moment. One more story to keep you waiting for the next in the series.

I had been looking forward to this story and it did not disappoint.
So much so that it very nearly was a top read for me. The only reason it wasn't was because for me a few things seemed like inconsistencies, but that could just be me over thinking things while I devoured every word.
This book is not an easy read so be warned.
It is dark, raw and gritty and I couldn't get enough.
It's a journey that will hurt but needs to be taken to be told right and for the characters to hopefully heal.
This book was mainly focused around the female bada**, I would of loved to know more about the male main characters story but hoping that his side kick may tell it if he gets a book in the future.
As it is your head and heart will be spinning with everything we uncover within the pages and this story will stick with you for a long time to come.
Definitely recommend and can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.

This is the second book in D.M. Earl's Devil's Handmaiden's MC series. This book focus is on our Enforcer Shadow/Zoey and it is an crazy wild adventure of finding the truth about her past, with a famiy she never thought she would have by her side to help her through.

Shadow has lived a life that nobody should even experience as a nightmare let alone in person. The people who should have been protecting her only used her to their advantage. Learning to trust people to have your best interst at heart after that is a very big challenge but she has managed with a select few and her sisters of the club. As she slowly treads the waters of this new friendship/relationship she is forming with Panther, she finds herself feeling things she never thought she deserved. Wondering if she is truly worthy of the normal things of love and family.

Panther sees Shadow for so much more than the tattoos she uses to hide the proofs of her unforgiving upbringing. He has more than his share of demons he as deals with to keep his life as normal as possible. In his ability to understand what Shadow needs before she does, willing to let her work through her head and wait while her heart understands he truly wants her for who she is no matter the horrible things of her past.

Be ready for a roller coaster of emotions, many parts that are so hard to even fathom, but the joy of watching Shadow find her family. The one that loves her for who she is and not what she can do for them.

I am excited to see where the series takes us next.

HOLY WOWZA HELL! D.M. Earl just keeps getting better and better which blows my mind because I've been in love with her writing since the first book I've experienced. Shadow has gone through hell in her life, and I mean hell, which should have her rocking in some corner sucking her thumb, and yet, this strong woman reinvents herself by starting this all women's MC with her best friend, so finally life has settled some of her demons. They're never far away though, so it's understandable that she has some trust issues, but life puts a man in her path that just may get past her big strong walls. Panther is a Navajo horse rancher, and there's something calming about him so I fell hard & fast, and Shadow finds herself contemplating something more for the first time in her life since everything went down. This story really destroyed my heart with the raw & gritty emotional tone that surrounded me throughout the story. There are twists, and the heat is on point, plus you know, that whole #GIRLPOWER ROCKS! I'll never get enough of this author, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Shadow has lived a difficult life one that has shaped the woman that she has become. She is the enforcer of an all-girl MC tasked with protecting young victims from sex predators and trafficking. She meets Panther who has all the patience in the world that he provides with Shadow. This emotionally charges story drew me in and had me connecting with Shadow while empathizing with all that she has experienced in her life.
This story has triggers that may set some off, but it is a great read that will have you thinking about this book long after you have read it.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An emotional story not for the faint of heart. This one speaks to the heart and soul and turned me inside out page by page. Shadow is fierce and brave. Tormented by demons she can’t chain you will feel for her in all ways. Meeting Panther is a welcome
Change although he has suffered as immensely as she. They however are kindred spirits and this is a journey that is just beginning. It’s no slow ride.

Powerful strong emotional

Shadow has many demons racing around her head. Keeping secrets that she doesn’t think anyone should or want to know. She is stronger than she was many years ago and she proves it when faced with her past. Finding her heart among the shadows bring her love from many different people and places.

This author's storytelling has me hooked. The character development and banter are unmatched. Here, we dive into Zoey/Shadow's story, and it is dark. What's amazing and consistent is those she is surrounded by and their love and concern for her. How she learns to navigate that and grow by the end is wonderful. I would read 100 more stories about Zoey.

Shadow is the Enforcer for the Devil's Handmaidens MC and she is as badass as they come, but as a child, Zoey went through more suffering, abuse and pain than any child should and that is what brought her to where she is now, thanks to Maggie and her family taking her in and showing her what safety and family should look like, but all those experiences also made her into the icy hearted woman she is today. Panther is a Navajo Indian with look as dark as sin and muscles to boot, he is also a horse rancher and from the minute he saw Shadow, he knew he needed to know more about her, including why she was getting a full skull tattooed onto her face and looking like it was nothing, but fate would lead them apart for a while, but when they reconnect it is more business than pleasure.

To the outside, she has no fear and instead puts the fear of God into anyone who gets on her bad side, including the members of the MC which she founded with the Prez, the sisters who she now protects and their families with fierce passion, but when she sees Panther again, she is not ready for the emotions which would come along with it. It turns out that he has a similar mission to them and when the opportunity arises for her to help save some innocents from experiencing what she did, she is all in, however, what she doesn’t expects is how close to her past the mission really is, that is until it comes back around and the danger lurks around every corner.

As they work more closely together, Shadow cannot help but be drawn to Panther and his mysterious past which has created his present, it both calms, enrages, frustrates and illicit emotions she tried to bury to keep herself safe, but he is persistent and passionate, but more understanding that she believes she deserves and when things go south trying to help these innocent youths, she knows that she cannot hide any longer, but will she be able to take that leap of faith and find something good in the evil surrounding them, or will she be drawn into a darkness which she won’t be able to escape from? This is another great MC romance with one hell of a bite where lines blur and past, present and future collide to bring a journey which will leave your heart racing and stopping all at once as this actin packed, emotional rollercoaster plays out in front of you.

Shadow is the second book in the Devil's Handmaidens MC which is an all-female MC thriller series. I really love the cover on this book and I loved the story. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to Shadow’s story. This is my favourite.
It is raw, dark and gritty and not an easy read but it is a captivating read. It is jam packed with danger, action, suspense and tension.
Shadow has lived in a nightmare. A life that no one should have ever be a part of. A young girl caught in the clutches of evil. Forced into a life in the shadows. She was born into the shadows. Now she has become the Shadow. She the Enforcer of the club she is someone to be feared, someone who gets things done others won’t. Revenge can be sweet……….
It’s a wonder that Shadow and Panther have found their way to one another.
I look forward to reading so much more from this series.

I was all in on the Devil’s Handmaidens after Tink but I wanna learn to ride and move to Montana after Shadow. This book wrecked me. The emotions that were evoked from me by this book were completely unfair. It wasn’t just one emotion, there were mixed emotions in bunches. As Shadow’s history was discussed, I felt anger at the b@sterds that hurt her but compassion for her and those that care about Shadow. I felt Shadow’s pain. The author made it so easy to feel with Shadow as her emotions dripped from the page and soaked your fingers as you read.

Zoey/Shadow has always tried to blend into the background. It was a defense mechanism. If no one could see her, no one could hurt her. Shadow was used to being hurt. She doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t being hurt. When Zoey was about 12, she was found by Tink, who forced Zoey to be her friend by never giving up on her. Tink has stuck by her ever since. Now someone else is trying to break through Shadow’s carefully crafted walls, well actually two somebodies. Hannah has attached herself to Shadow and isn’t letting go. But the real problem isn’t the annoying little sister, it is him.

Panther has been chasing Zoey for a while now. There is a connection between them he can’t explain. Maybe it is the work, breaking up trafficking rings, that they do together. It could be that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Panther got a glimpse of that beauty as he watched her face tattoos being applied. Panther thinks that her tattoos only enhance her natural beauty. Panther has asked Shadow to help him out on a big job. This is a ring that he has been tracking for years. When the time comes, the ring leader only wants to deal with Shadow, putting her in danger.

When Shadow is taken, Panther’s team, the Devil’s Handmaidens, Tink’s father’s MC, and a few friends help track Shadow’s whereabouts in attempts to save her. As they search, they discover secrets about Shadow’s past. Will they be able to save her in time? Will all the secrets still left to be discovered be what finally breaks Shadow? You have to read to find out!!

OMFG!!!!! What an emotional ride. I don’t know how you love a book that tortures your soul, but I do. I am deep with this series. No matter how much it hurts, I will read each and every book. These women are more than survivors. They are heroines just trying to give back, even if they have to crack a few heads to do it. I luv all the characters. I luv the over-protective alphas that get put in their place by the pixie-esque women. The realness of this series, of these women, is almost too much. But since they lived it, we can do them (the real women in the world facing these issues everyday) the honor by reading about it, getting angry about it, and doing something to stop trafficking in all forms!! Give me a kutte and the ink, I am in (minus the whole knowing how to ride thingy)!!!!!

Zoey was sold into a life of slavery as a child and had unspeakable things done to her. After being left for dead she finds the courage to get free and in doing so meets Tink. Together they start an all-women’s motorcycle club where Zoey starts her new life under the name Shadow and becomes the club’s enforcer. Like Shadow, Tink, and all of the other female members have had traumatic pasts they have overcome and because of this they have made the club’s mission to save others from being sold into lives of slavery and exploitation.

When Shadow meets Panther things change for her and she feels an emotional connection to him. Although she is sexually attracted to him, she cannot bring herself to overcome the demons of her past and sleep with him. Shadow and Panther both feel a special connection to one another and find that they have a common bond in trying to save the lives of women and children being sold into the sex trade. The two of them try to navigate their feelings and desires as they both struggle to overcome the demons that haunt Shadow’s thoughts and memories.

This was exquisitely written, and I loved the characters of Shadow and Panther. Having read about Shadow in past books I could not help but wonder what her story was. Once I read about the absolute horrors that Shadow had experienced as a child I was repulsed. I felt my heart breaking for her and was sickened at the abuse she had suffered at the hands of so many. Shadow was a woman who could have easily let her past abuse and trauma break her but instead chose it to help others in similar situations which is truly admirable. I was happy to see that she found Panther and that he was so patient with her. He never pushed her for her story or tried to make her do things that she was uncomfortable doing. Panther was patient, gentle, kind, and understanding even without knowing Shadow’s story.

Another amazing book with take charge, no holds barred, strong women who do not let their past demons stop them. They take their demons and channel them into helping other women and children. This book was full of action, violence, mayhem, bloodshed, romance, lust, love, emotional highs and lows, strength, hope, and courage. I highly recommend!

Shadow is the 2nd book in D.M. Earl's Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber Ghost, Montana series and it was even better than the first. This book is dark, darker than some I've read. Shadow's story is heartwrenching but explains why she is exactly like she is. That girl is the epitome of what a survivor is and how it affects your entire life. I'm definitely taking Shadow from Tink to be my new bestie!
We learned in the 1st book that Shadow is ruthless and bloodthirsty. She has no problem killing who she needs to or hurting the ones she's told to. She scares everyone that doesn't know her because she is covered with tattoos and has a skull on her face. Since Tink saved her life she has been helping her rescue trafficking victims like she was. I never thought Shadow would let her walls down but she has for Panther. He is a Navajo veteran who runs a horse ranch on the outside. Behind the scenes, his team and him help take down trafficking circuits. He felt connected to Shadow since the first time he saw her in the tattoo parlor. And Shadow has been keeping her relationship with him a secret for years until she can't anymore because her 2 worlds collide to try and take out a circuit they've been after for years. Shadow is in their sights and no one will let her go down. This book had a lot of twists and turns. Especially when we learn about Shadow's history and who she actually is.
I gave this a 5-star rating and a 3-spicy rating because of how it got to me. This is not a book I would forget anytime soon. To learn what a person has gone through to finally get somewhere good and accepting pulled at my heartstrings. This book wasn't supposed to be spicy or funny. It was a dark story about a survivor's journey and it was beautiful and courageous. D.M. Earl has a winner on her hands with this one I'm not sure she'd be able to top but we'll have to see. Taz's book is next and I can't wait to read it.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Zoey "Shadow" Jeffries is no stranger to pain and suffering. Sold into slavery as a child, Shadow was left for dead until she fought back, got her freedom and then meets her best friend. Together, they started an all-woman's motorcycle club. As the club's enforcer, Shadow's strength and courage are paramount in keeping the club in the business of saving people. Meeting a sexy Navajo horse rancher catapults, Shadow to the next emotional level for the first time. Shadow and Panther will do anything to protect the young, trafficked victims from the sexual predators threatening them. While Shadow and Panther navigate uncertain waters to save the women, can they find passion and pleasure admist their pain?

Shadow is a girl who has been through things that nightmares are made of. She carries around things that haunt her and keeps everything she feels closed off from everyone and doesn't really let anyone in emotionally. However she has fought back from all she has been through and she and her best friends create an all female MC and she is the enforcer and she is really good at it. Her main mission in life is to save as many girls as she can. She never wants anyone to go through what she has gone through. However she is not fully living and just on a mission and going through the motions when she is not. However when she is introduced to Panther things begin to change. If she is willing to open herself up to him he has the ability to show her a new way to live. These two have quit the journey and it is one that you will not be able to stop reading. I loved them together. It's like they were perfectly made just for each other. You will however, go through an emotional roller coaster with these two. This is a great book and one that you do not want to miss.

This is the second book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC and once again D.M. Earl delivers. The continuation of learning more about Shadow is seamless in a way. In Tink, book one, we get glimpses of the fierce enforcer but in this book everything is laid out at our feet breaking our hearts and lighting our torches again. Similar to the first book this book gives us multiple perspectives including more from Tink.
Shadow’s story is finally revealed, the reason for her face tattoo, the reason for her indestructible walls that she hides herself behind, everything. After years of praying Tink finally believes in God when he not only heard her prayers but answered them in the form of Panther. In her words anyone with eyes could see he was in love with and only has eyes for Zoey (Shadow). He sees her true beauty, feels the tattoo on her face only enhances it, everything about her has him entranced. Panther has been tracking a pedophile ring for years and finally has a chance to take them down, calling Shadow for assistance everything suddenly goes belly up when the ring leader only wants Shadow. All hands-on deck as the search for Shadow begins.
Can they find Shadow in time? Will Panther succeed in getting through her walls? Shadow has found someone that loves her and everything about her, but can it survive all that is thrown at them? This series has a way of hooking into your soul and dragging you back for more no matter how much your head tells you to walk away for a moment to breath. These women are more than heroines they are everything and more to the survivors they rescue, because they are survivors themselves. They understand the pain and the demons each victim has survived and shows them they can fight those demons and win. I can’t wait for book three, Taz, May 18th, 2023, to learn more about these incredible women.

This is the second book in the Devil's Handmadien MC. As with the first book in the series this is a really dark gritty story. If follow Shadow who is one strong woman. She comes across as scary especially being the MC's enforcer, however like with most members we've met in the MC groups she is this way for a reason and her story is a heartbreaking one. The author does an amazing job of telling Shadows story in a way that is respectful but allows the reader to experience the pain and sorrow she went through.
Now along with her friend Panther they are trying to uncover and stop the trafficking rings. Shadow wants to help other girls falling victim like she did. Shadow is one very broken individual who is trying everything in her power to heal herself from the physical and mental scars left behind and she does this with the help of her new family.
Panther is shadows other half even if she won't see or admit it. He knew from the moment he met her that he wanted her and no matter what she throws at him he never gives up. Together they work on stopping the trafficking rings but Shadow isn't the only one holding on to past mental and physical scars.
Can Shadow and Panther learn to work through their demons and help to heal each other? Or are some scars just incapable of healing?

This story is action packed, full of danger and at times a heartbreaking read. You can't help but feel for both Shadow and Panther as they struggle with not only the dangers around them but also the demons they are still left to fight.
It's another amazing read in this series and I hope they keep on coming.

Shadow is the second book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter series by D.M Earl. After reading the first book, “Tink”, I was expecting this book to be harrowing, but Ms. Earl didn’t mess around- she went for straight for the jugular with this story, masterfully shredding my emotions along the way…..
This is another thrilling MC romance- a romantic suspense with triggers, dark themes, heart-wrenching emotion, drama, damaged characters, friendship, family, chemistry, tension, intensity, and finding love unexpectedly.
Shadow, OMG- what a survivor she is- what a story she has to tell! She’s Tink's best friend (whom we met back in book one), and the Enforcer of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC. She’s a tough cookie, but she has endured so much in her life, survived against the odds. She has a mission to protect the vulnerable and to prevent the innocent from being abused by depraved predators. She has her best friend, and the MC- and her quest. Meeting a hunky horse rancher brings unexpected complications, of the emotional kind. What happens makes for a compelling read!
I can always count Ms. Earl to deliver a heart-pounding, emotional, and tense read- and Shadow’s story takes things up a few notches. I was so engrossed in the story, invested in Shadow (and Panther) right from the outset, that I read the whole book in one sitting.
Can’t wait for ‘Tas’ (Book #3)!
Happy Reading…

Thank you, D.M. Earl!

Wow, did Zoey aka Shadow’s story ever take a twist and turn. Ms. Earl gave us readers a magnificent storyline with Shadow. The book takes us on a winding road, from the bits of humor, to the anguish she suffers, to learning her truths. My emotions ran the gamut with the characters, from happy to sad, pain to pleasure, thrilled to scared and so much more.

Zoey/Shadow is the enforcer for the Devil’s Handmaidens MC. Her past was one horrid event after another. She wears the scars both inside and out. In fact it’s why she has the face of skull tattooed over the majority of her face. While it might scare some, her real image just might have been worse. We also met Panther, a Najvo rancher who, like Zoey’s club, searches and helps trafficked victims. Zoey and Panther have a special kind of relationship, maining due to her troubled.past Watching these two together, the love and patience he has for Zoey is heartwarming and so precious to see.

This is an outstanding read that is packed with lots of MC action as well as emotional turmoils as two best friends, families and lovers learn what is real and acceptance.

I highly recommend grabbing up Shadow, Book 2 in the Ms. Earl’s Devil’s Handmaidens MC. While it can be read as a standalone - I Strongly suggest reading book 1, Tink, first. It will make for a much better reading experience.
