Another wave of rather forgettable villains for the guild to defeat. Again, some interesting ideas, but there are also plot points and characters that are running rather thin and tired. Fairy Tail fans who love these characters will more than likely enjoy this and the series overall, however, the longer it progresses, the more I start to wonder whether newbies who jumped on at the start of 100 Years Quest will be as invested. Anyway, the biggest R.I.P is Erza's hair. You shall be missed 🙏

Deadly Showdown in a Labyrinth

Continuing after the quick and not very impressive defeat of the former guild leader of Diabolos Selene is up to her tricks having taken on the mantle of guild leader of the dragon eating guild and setting the strongest of them loose where they cannot be ignored. However the present team is not quite enough for the task of amusing the dragon moon god so she is going to even the odds as Gajeel and Laxus are summoned to liven things up in this battle where winner takes all and loser faces the consequences.

As usual Wendy is one of my favorite characters being not only adorable but being different from many of her guild mates in her personality so I was happy to see her get to flex her magical muscles (even if Irene is assisting) against the young but troublesome master of plushies in Diabolos. Then of course there are the other fights (and occasional non-fights) we get to see as Fairy Tail faces off against the strongest amongst the dragon eating guild that has been messing with them as they try to fulfil this mighty quest. Onward to volume 12 to see how bad things will be when Erza reaches her limit against her present opponent. :)

Our next arc is set up as our favorite gang (plus Gajeel and Laxus) is thrown into a labyrinth where they’ll have to defeat all the Dark Dragon Slayer Knights. Each of the fight is set up as we slowly realize just how strong the enemy is, and our heroes will fight forces that they haven't seen before. And it's always so interesting! I love genuinely original the powers are and each fight gets so unique because of it. And the labyrinth they’re in always changes aspect, so you’re always on your toes as to what fight they’re going to be in.

One of the main fights told in this volume belongs to Wendy, and I’m always so happy to se how genuinely strong she grew. She developed so much raw power compared to the beginning and she’s slowly learning how to use it more and more. I love her partnership with Irene, as she’s definitely the kind of mentor our fierce girl needed.

Now I’m excited to see how the rest of the fight will go!

That was a twist and then some!!

I think Selene being a puppet master villain is cool, I like that it makes so much more happen. Especially now that she's got her hands on a guild.

Anyways, it's nice to have a few more Fairy Tail members involved in the shenanigans, aside from full group fights it's felt pretty lacking for characters.

These Diablos guys are really cool though. Very unlike any other villains. Also I'm making plushies like the plush boy makes. I'm gonna make so many. I'm madly inspired.

But also ERZA. THE END. OH I AM BOTH PUMPED AND TERRIFIED.

this was an epic volume. so much action, and IGNIA!!!

i've found chapter 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105. and i'm no okay, hoy am i supposed to life whithout nowing what the heck happend next???????? what a cliffhanger! like the worst ive ever experienced, and what do i do with my life now? i need more, pleaseeee.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Je pense que je sais pourquoi je suis particulièrement attachée à Natsu DRAGNEEL et Ryo SAEBA, les deux ne se prennent pas au sérieux mais ils savent tout les deux l'être lorsque la situation le demande et ils sont les meilleurs dans leur domaine mais cherchent constamment à se dépasser. On peut remercier Lucie et Kaori de leur apporter le soutien qu'ils méritent. Aussi, tout ces personnages ont beaucoup soufferts mais ils continuent de se battre et d'avancer. Ca ne les empêchent pas de vivre de bons moments.

I haven't read Fairy Tail in over a year and this was a perfect volume to pick up as it was quite easy to follow the story from here. Can't wait for all the battles in the next volume!
