An absolute must-read for lovers of Italian genre films. The authors have packed this full of photos and, more importantly, interviews. There are some notables missing from the interview stable, but what you get will more than quench your thirst. There is also an extensive film log at the back of the book, which helped me find a film I was starting to think only existed in my head!

Interviews with the standing Italian horror greats- actors, directors, producers and crew. Daria Nicolodi's interview is the most memorable and gives some real insight into Argento's work
The appendix was a great resource for me (pre internet)in trying to track down these films (ditto). The film titles are all in the original Italian, with NO English title listed.

Mostly a collection of interviews with auteurs, actors, producers, other talented people, and Lamberto Bava. Also includes a pretty substantial filmography of Italian fantastic cinema. Worth having, but not worth an extravagant price.
