A reel from the author on Facebook made me purchase this one. She made it sound like a fun time and I was already binging on billionaire shorts so I thought this would fit right in. I thought wrong.
I loved the premise but what a let down it was for me. I'm well aware about the limits imposed by novellas but I thought this truly lacked character and relationship development compared to the many sex scenes given. Those were nice and playful but I guess I needed more emotional attachment to truly enjoy them. This was very fast paced too—I know, I know, NOVELLA— but I couldn't let myself fall for this story although Simone sounded like an interesting character and I would have like seeing more of her tormenting Steele.
I had not read this author in a while, sadly this novella didn't make me feel like I've missed much though it's entirely possible I would have enjoyed this more if I had read the series it relates to.
I loved the premise but what a let down it was for me. Sometimes a novella is exactly what I'm in the mood for. Something quick and fun without having to read an entire novel.
Steele and Simone are a quick, hot and fun novella that left me wanting more of their story...but at the same time it felt like a perfect little tease of them.
It's a standalone of you haven't read other titles and it's a fun glimpse into this world if you have.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Well, this was afternoon delightful! From author Laurelin Paige, and 1001 dark nights comes a dirty filthy novella that shows you what happens when the boss is away and his assistant has time to play. A filthy, sexy romp that's sure to please releases May 16th!

Why oh why is this just a novella? I want, no need more! I loved this story, flew through to, actually. It was fun, flirty, sexy and engaging. So fun. This author always delivers.

Short and not so sweet. ;) This can be read as part of the Dirty Filthy world, but it's more like a spin-off, featuring another group of billionaires. (Though if you are familiar with Donovan Kincaid and crew, then you will enjoy the small glimpses we get from a couple of those folks.) There is a scene that took place in Kincaid, that replays here from a different POV, since the Heroine is Donovans PA. Having said that, this can be read as a stand alone without trouble. It's sexy and dirty (talking.) It's also somewhat of a insta-love. Since it is a novella, the story/love moves quickly. No slow burn here, though the Hero does like to tease the Heroine, so she may be suffering from the lack of instant gratification. lol (You'll totally see what I mean when you read this.) While the Hero is a bit of a dirty talker (and the Heroine is right up there with him,) and there is all the sexiness, there is also some humor that gives this story a good lighthearted feel. We don't get too in depth with the characters background, but we get enough to understand them. If you are at all familiar with this author, then you probably already know, but this book is intended for mature readers. It is strictly from one POV.

Dirty Filthy Billionaire by Laurelin Paige is a Dirty Universe Novella (with a touch of the Sebastian world) from 1001 Dark Nights and I loved it. What I love about these stories is they are a great introduction to new readers of the author and for long time readers, they are a great treat! Simone works for Donovan Kinkaid and sometimes enjoys taking his discarded event invitations for some great meals. When she finds herself in a predicament, Steele Sebastian, steps in to help, or does he? But he wants something in return. So begins the shenanigans of the best kind.
Steele is one hot, sexy, and arrogant man that comes from a powerful family. He is a man who knows what he wants and is not afraid to go after it. Simone is smart, beautiful, and also enjoys getting what she wants when she wants. I loved these two together. They have steamy chemistry they enjoy and just loved their interactions. This was such a fun and spicy read!

This quick, witty, steamy novella brings all the feels and had me riveted, flipping the pages and at times laughing out loud. The Sebastians are growing on me more and more as I read their stories. I wasn’t sure they’d even come close to rivaling the Dirty Universe but so far so good! *heart eyes* Of course, it doesn’t hurt that my favorite of favorite alphaholes of all time is embedded in this story *wink*
I loved this little jaunt of sorts that Steele and Simone got as a story. It was a perfect story for an afternoon read. Do I wish they were explored more? Sure, but they don’t really need it. Did I grab the audiobook just this afternoon for a treat tonight? Yes, yes I did! :) This was perfect for their personalities, and it put a huge smile on my face. 4.5 but not quite 5 STARS!!

WHEW BOY! Talk about hot! This book is very steamy and the title is a correct one! *Fans self* Simone is Donovan Kincaid’s personal assistant and she is a stellar employee. She is efficient and keeps her mouth shut. She has one little vice; she attends various charity dinners! This cracked me up but I liked Simone’s style. Steele is a Sebastian. Enough said! Now, if you aren’t familiar with the Sebastians, these men tend to get what they want. One night and an unexpected meeting brings these two together. And Steele brings the heat! He is drawn to Simone and she can’t resist him either. This book was fast paced and I was here for it! I couldn’t put it down and I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this short novella! If you are looking for a super spicy short read, this book is for you! It has billionaires. It has "deals/bets" This book was very well written, and I am excited to read more by this author after reading this book. All my spicy contemporary romance lover friends, add this one to your TBR because it's very good, especially if you are looking for a quick read.
And my only complaint is that I thought the epilogue was a little too long. But other than that, I absolutely loved this one.

Kinky sexy read… but not romantic
This author did a solid job of providing a story of one couple’s sexual escapades which was entertaining. It was what it was but didn’t resonate with me as a love story. Lust, Kinky sex … yes. A love story, a hard no.
The entire story was about this couples lust/chemistry and sex; not romance but good old sex. Nothing wrong with that but definitely not a love story.

Perfect dose of reading pleasure in the Dirty Universe! Since meeting Simone as Donovan Kincaid assistant, seeing her in this light, with Steele Sebastian no less,
was a delightful and spicy delight! I loved the banter and explosive chemistry between these characters. Steeler’s fascination with Simone was another powerful man coming to his knees in a way only Laurelin Paige can write!

I've been craving this story ever since I read the party scene in Kincaid. Simone has always been an interesting character--a little odd--but they always make for the best stories.
Steele is the perfect counterpart for her oddness! I loved their banter back and forth. Their chemistry is just pure fire! I couldn't get enough! Honestly, I want them to have their own full-length book!
This is just a great novella. It has drama, romance, solid characters--everything you want. And it serves as a great bridging novella from the Dirty Universe and into the Sebastian Saga of the Brutal Billionaires.
Give me more!

Simone dislikes just about everyone. Especially men in well fitted suits who make her miss the banquet dinner she wasn’t invited to. After a stranger rescues her from an awkward situation, she definitely owes him one. This stranger however is Steele Sebastian, a billionaire with a reputation.
This novella was a fun little read! The banter between the
characters was *chef’s kiss* and I enjoyed the deals and the lists, that never really got finished! wink wink 😉 I suggest you skip the soaps and daytime tv and enjoy this smart and sassy read instead!

❣︎Nawet nie wiedziałam, że ta książka ma u nas wyjść. Przez co początkowo nie zwróciłam na nią uwagi. Jednak gdy przeczytałam nazwisko autorki, to wiedziałam, że muszę się na nią skusić.
Twórczość autorki jest mi bardzo dobrze znana i bardzo lubię książki wychodzące spod jej pióra.
Poprawka — kiedyś mi się podobały.
Najwyraźniej, książki, które czytałam kiedyś i oceniłam na dużą ilość gwiazdek, teraz nie koniecznie przypadłyby mi do gustu.
Najwyraźniej z biegiem lat, mój gust czytelniczy troszkę się zmienił.
Przyznam szczerze, gdybym teraz przeczytała książki Lauren Paige, na pewno ich ocena drastycznie by się zmieniła.
❣︎„Nieprzyzwoity miliarder” sam w sobie nie jest jakoś bardzo rozbudowaną książką, ma tylko ponad 100 stron, więc jest taką idealną pozycją na jeden wieczór.
Jednak daleko jej do ideału, powiedziałabym wręcz, że daleko jej do bycia dobrą.
Fabuła w tej książce leży i kwiczy. Po prostu jej brak. Dialogi były raczej dosyć proste i bez większego sensu.
Ogólnie historia jest bardzo płytka, można było to jakoś lepiej rozwinąć, na pewno wpłynęłoby to na korzyść książki.
Trochę za bardzo nie rozumiałam postępowania głównej bohaterki. Wiedziała, że szef nic jej nie zrobi, gdy tylko dowie się, że to ona chodziła na przyjęcia w jego imieniu a mimo to i tak dała się „zaszantażować” głównemu bohaterowi. Samo wytłumaczenie się ciekawością jakoś do mnie nie przemawiało.
Jedna z bardziej płytkich historii, jakie czytałam. Gdyby ktoś dałby mi do przeczytania tę książkę w ciemno, nigdy nie powiedziałabym, że jest ona napisana przez tę autorkę.
❣︎Nie wiem, co tutaj się podziało i dlaczego Laurelin napisała coś takiego, przecież inne jej książki były bardzo dobre (przynajmniej kiedyś), a to? Kompletnie nie mam na temat tej książki pozytywnego zdania.
Mimo że książka jest krótka, to moim zdaniem to tylko stracony czas.
Nie polecam.

Trochę za bardzo nie rozumiałam postępowania głównej bohaterki. Wiedziała, że szef nic jej nie zrobi, gdy tylko dowie się, że to ona chodziła na przyjęcia w jego imieniu a mimo to i tak dała się „zaszantażować” głównemu bohaterowi. Samo wytłumaczenie się ciekawością jakoś do mnie nie przemawiało.
Jedna z bardziej płytkich historii, jakie czytałam. Gdyby ktoś dałby mi do przeczytania tę książkę w ciemno, nigdy nie powiedziałabym, że jest ona napisana przez tę autorkę.
❣︎Nie wiem, co tutaj się podziało i dlaczego Laurelin napisała coś takiego, przecież inne jej książki były bardzo dobre (przynajmniej kiedyś), a to? Kompletnie nie mam na temat tej książki pozytywnego zdania.
Mimo że książka jest krótka, to moim zdaniem to tylko stracony czas.

"Fuck, Simone. The dirty, filthy things I want to do to you..."
One chapter in, and I knew I was reading my new all-time favourite novella of Laurelin Paige.
Heck, this just might be my new all-time favourite read of hers, period. Which I didn't think would happen since Simone - our heroine, and a character who's been a part of the Dirty Universe since the very first book as she's the PA of Donovan Kincaid - wasn't a character I all that much cared for. She seemed rude and annoying and like she was above everyone around her, and so I just didn't care to have more of her. However my curiosity piqued about her after reading Kincaid and getting a little sneak peek into her and Steele's dynamic, because what did he mean when he said she owed him?!
And I kid you not, but I wasn't even five pages into this story when any kind of dislike I'd previously felt for Simone vanished. And two pages after that is when I knew I'd be rereading this book as soon as I finished it for the first time. And I did just that. I reread this book... three times... before even sitting down to write this review. And I honestly regret nothing.
Because look, as far as first interactions go, Steele Sebastian and Simone Lima win, hands down, for the most memorable. They also win for the most epic of banter delivered between them as is proven by the fact that they'd barely exchanged ten sentences together before I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Their chemistry was instant and fierce, and their back-and-forth jabs were so fun to read that I had the biggest smile plastered on my face as I devoured this novella in near enough one sitting; a novella that's told entirely in Simone's perspective as she finds herself becoming infatuated with a man she absolutely should not be infatuated with. And she shouldn't for two reasons:
Firstly, he's the brother of a man who's desperately trying to get a hold of Simone's boss, Donovan.
And secondly... he let her choke.
...I'm really going to hate this prick if he ends up making me not hate him at all.
Steele and Simone served hate-at-first-sight. They also served hate-I-can't-get-enough-of-you too, and thanks to both their stubbornness and unique showing of affection, it meant that there was never a dull moment between them whenever they were in close proximity. They met each other blow for blow, banter for banter, and blackmail for blackmail, and I swear it's such a shame that they only got this novella - that's ten chapters + an epilogue long and starts at 18% only to then finish at 88% - rather than the full-length novel they deserved. And it wasn't because there were things left unsaid by the time the final word was delivered; it's because this book was so good and so flawless - with so many highlight worthy quotes, unforgettable laugh out loud moments, and a whole lot of dirty, filthy smut - that I just did not want it to end whatsoever.
I just wanted so much more of Simone and Steele, because I could not get enough of them. Steele was everything I hoped he'd be - a Sebastian through and through who had me wanting to both swoon for him and slap him at the same time - and Simone... well, I think I've already said how I feel about her. I love her, and I related to her so much when it came to her love of food and her hatred of people that come to think of it, how could I hate her when I saw so much of myself in her?!
Now, I do wish we got to see more of Simone's interactions with Donovan, as I've always been curious about their friendship and dynamic overall, since it takes one hell of a person to put up with a man like Donovan for as long as Simone has. And Dirty Filthy Billionaire really showed a side of them that we never got to see before; it showed that Simone is the sister Donovan not only never had but certainly never wanted, yet he has her anyway and their back-and-forth jabs were just as funny as Simone's were with Steele. And like I wanted more with Simone and Steele, I wanted more of Simone and Donovan too. More of them just... interacting together. Because Simone may hate everyone, and Donovan may only love Sabrina, but they have this friendship that no one can match nor top, and I just absolutely loved it.
I loved everything about this book. It's a standalone through and through - though the first two chapters do overlap a scene from Kincaid, however you really do not need to read that book to enjoy this one - that delivered everything I love in a Laurelin Paige story. And it was truly so funny that I know if I ever need a book to get me out of a reading slump, or just a life slump in general, this'll be the one that I'd revisit to do just that. It's a story that exceeded all my expectations, I know I won't forget it anytime soon, and I truly cannot recommend it highly enough!

When the jerk who irritated her earlier saves her from a sort of awkward explanation to her boss, Simone decides she’ll go along with his little “blackmail” scheme, and have some fun. But, did Steele save her and proposition her because he has a secret agenda, something to do with her boss? Or is he actually just as attracted to her as she is to him?
Whew, these billionaires of Laurelin’s are DIRTY! Dirty in the bedroom and out, but when they actually catch feelings, that’s when they become their best. Though this is a novella, it’s a complete story that really only just makes me want many, many more stories about quirky Simone and her delicious billionaire Steele.

I liked this book. I read it all in one sitting after it dropped on my Kindle at 11 pm, the night before release day. I stayed up reading it and finished it before my preorder on Audible for the audiobook came in the next morning. I really liked the characters and I thought it was fun that we see Holt from Brutal Billionaires and even Donovan from the Dirty Filthy Rich Men book drop in and make an appearance. There was even a mention of Hudson from the Fixed series in this book.
This novella is surprisingly (or maybe not surprisingly considering it’s part of the 1001 Dark Nights series) full of sexytimes and still made time for some heartwarming moments.
Content notes include mentions of a minor character having cancer, weirdly casual throwaway line of statutory rape, ableism, and homomisia.
I know authors who write novellas hate to hear this, but this book should’ve been longer. What was keeping Steele from getting a full length book? Is he not a Sebastian? He is. I just feel like there was too much info dumping about his family and too much of a word vomit confession from Simone at the end of this to wrap things up. It was just too much, too fast for such a prickly MC (Simone). And I LOVE Simone and would’ve liked to see more about how Steele wins her over. He did a good time in the time he had, but we got 500 pages of Holt/Brystin and only a fifth of that time for a story with Steele/Simone? I WANTED MORE.
This book does kind of spoil a thing that was kept a ~mystery~ in the Brutal Billionaire book, but it’s not a HUGE spoiler I suppose since they didn’t name any names. But I would still recommend reading Brutal Billionaire first for that one moment alone.
I actually liked Simone and I found it fun that she’s a switch and not just a submissive. There’s nothing wrong with that of course. But we just so rarely see the author’s other female characters be a switch or a dom when you have all these alpha male characters in her books and I would’ve LOVED to have seen that one scene of Simone dominating Steele in the bedroom. But no the story cuts off and we don’t get to see that.
Simone is described to be a mix of “Brazilian Swiss” and “Afro Japanese.” But you’d literally never know she’s a BIPOC MC without this one mention at the beginning where she’s describing her looks, and I don’t know. It’s very surface level writing at best. I like reading Laurelin Paige, but I’m not sure she’s the best person to try to write BIPOC characters? At least there wasn’t really anything offensive directed towards Simone in this book. So, small wins, I guess.
Most surprising thing about this book is how much I like Donovan here. That’s something I’d never thought I’d say. Like, if we forget his whole deal and how he orchestrated getting together with Sabrina, he’s actually very likable as a secondary character. He treats Simone well. Simone is his personal assistant (really, his administrative assistant if anything because she doesn’t really work with him much outside the office) and he’s respectful of her and they work well together as boss and employee who are just that and nothing more. I do question where this story falls into the Dirty universe because what was happening with Sabrina and that whole subplot? I guess I will never know. Unless someone who has read the books lets me know.
I do question why Simone doesn’t like Weston at all, because isn’t he supposed to be the least worst guy out of the Dirty universe of heroes or did I miss something? I probably missed something. But I thought it was interesting that Weston is the only guy who Simone seems to have beef with.
Overall, this was an enjoyable and sexy novella. I need to know when we’re getting more books in the Brutal Billionaires series though because I want to read more about the Sebastians!

DIRTY FILTHY BILLIONAIRE Novella is a short story that is HAWT, dirty, and sexy. Laurelin Paige did it again—her stories are always scintillating, steamy, addictive but splendidly good! I really enjoyed reading this book and the momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more that you can’t put it down. I love those Sebastian men, and this is Steele Sebastian and Simone Lima’s story. Simone is the PA for the infamous billionaire, Donovan Kincaid. Simone is very smart, independent, business savvy, and good at what she does; but she can be unabashed, and she is not afraid to tell you what she thinks. Since Simone’s boss doesn’t like to attend events, she has a tendency of swiping his invitations from time to time to eat the meals that she would never be able to afford. When Donovan shows up at one of the events, Simone feels she is caught until the sexy, arrogant, billionaire appears by her side, she is flabbergasted when she finds out who he is. Now, Steele wants Simone to owe him for rescuing her. “Let’s just say that Steele Sebastian has a reputation as a dirty filthy billionaire, and I’m about to find out why.” Steele is smitten with the sassy, feisty, witty, and obstinate beautiful woman. Once again, I love being back in the Dirty Universe world. The only thing is that it’s with Donovan’s assistant, Simone. We find that Simone has taken it upon herself to attend an event that Donovan has not RSVP’s for. It’s a chance for Simone to go out for a fun evening, have a great meal and drinks. Why should she let such go to waste. It’s here that she will meet Steele Sebastian, who is sitting with Simone at her table, and you get the picture… two attractive people, eyeing each other, with some serious sparks and innuendos flying between them!
It’s when Donovan runs into Simone on the way to the ladies room that he questions her about why she is attending the dinner. Needless to say, Steele steps up and tells Donovan that she is his guest. What could have been a disaster for Simone quickly vanishes. When an emergency with Sabrina arises for Donovan, the whole thing is no longer significant, he leaves. Afterwards Steele is quick to make Simone aware that she is indebted to him via an IOU… of which he will definitely collect on!
I really like the matchup of Steele and Simone. The banter was deliciously fun. The chemistry is undeniable. The sexy times is seriously hot, hot, hot!! Believe me when I tell you that not only is Steele in for a surprise with Simone, but you will be too!

OMG! This was soo good and I want more! I think Laurelin should write a full story with this couple. In which, I'd like to read a few chapters in Steel's POV. ;)
I loved the writing style as always. I devoured this book in record time. This story was hot and I really needed this right now. It's only a novella, it wasshort. But I hooked on the story so I'd love to read more about them.

Simone Lima is Donovan Kincaid's personal assistant and she's very good at her job. Not many people can go toe-to-toe with Donovan but she always does. On occasions when Donovan doesn't attend the many charity events he's invited to, Simone goes in his stead and gets to eat five star meals. On this particular night, as she's sitting waiting for the meal, a very arrogant man sits next to her. Simone thinks of great banter as foreplay and this man was giving just as good as she was. Irritated by this stranger, she leaves and as she's leaving she comes face to face with Donovan. While Donovan recognizes the man as a Sebastian, one of the richest families in New York, Simone is mortified she didn't recognize him herself. What ensues for the next several days is this game between Simone and Steele Sebastian of them owing each other and getting sex out of it. I liked their banter and how they seemed to know and understand one another. I enjoyed this novella, Steele wasn't a pretentious rich asshole and he respected and cared for Simone. Simone was prickly most of the time and Steele made want more for the first time in a really long time.
