A great book to start in the cryptocurrency world. I highly recommend it especially for someone who knows nothing about cryptocurrencies. Authors start from explaining the basics of cryptocurrencies, their mechanism, and the concept of mining to establish a strong understanding of the topic, which is essential to mine. Then, they move on to the practical steps of mining. In addition, they provide tons of sources, websites, and recommendations. The writing is great and straight to the point, although it tends to be a lot repetitive by the last third of the book.
For such a potentially mundane and technical topic, the authors do a fine job of adding humor and levity to entertain. The primer content in the first part of the book is worth reading, even if you don’t want to mine cryptocurrency. This is a great book to understand the field and helps you make the decision as to whether to participate or not.
Good For What It Delivers The book is good for what it delivers. While it may be more accurate to gain this information from the web, this gives you a solid background and foundation for which to do that up-to-date needed research.
