A shameful past, an orchard camp, and a kindling romance…not exactly Little Men, but Bronson Martin never liked being compared to the March family anyhow.

Grossly outnumbered by the women in the Martin family clan, Bronson fights tooth and nail to be taken seriously among his mother and sisters who still, in many ways, think of him as a young boy. As the man of the house, all Bronson wants is to take care of his family and to work toward something of lasting value. But as his dream of an orchard camp and apple-picking venture take root, an unexpected woman shows up, threatening to distract him from all he’s worked toward.

Eight years ago, an irresponsible decision led to the death of Morgan Dalton’s best friend. Now, she’s returned home, hoping to make amends. When she obtains a job at the Orchard House Summer Camp, Morgan wonders if a new life is possible…until events at the camp cause her to relive her past in an all-too frightening way.

Can Morgan bury the demons of her past before Bronson’s Orchard House camp dreams disintegrate?

Book 5 in The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast Series is a contemporary twist on the well-loved classic, Little Women. Readers will fall in love with the Martin family—Maggie, Josie, Lizzie, Bronson, Amie, and their mother Hannah—each trying to find their own way in the world and each discovering that love, home, and hope are closer than they appear.

I love the Martin family! Spending time at The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast in Maine was a treat. The series is inspired by Louisa May Alcott's Little Women.

In this fifth novel of the series, readers get Bronson's story. With his father deceased and being the only male in his family, Bronson has a lot of self-given weight on his shoulders. He likes to fix things. His heart is in the right place, but sometimes only God can amend what's broken.

Morgan returns to Camden after leaving the town in shame eight years prior. The weight of guilt is more than she can handle.

Loved the chemistry between the two of them as they each worked through difficulties and successes. The nod to It's a Wonderful Life toward the end made my heart sing.

I'll be sad to see the series end, yet look forward to youngest Amie's story.

My gratitude to the author for a complimentary copy of the novel. I was not required to post a review and all opinions expressed are my own.

I'm so happy to FINALLY introduce readers to the fifth book in The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast Series! This is Bronson's story. He's a guy surrounded by a house of women, a guy who is NOT a fan of his family being compared to the Little Women March family. He has big dreams to open up a summer camp and apple-picking venture. But when an unexpected woman arrives at Orchard House, she ends up threatening to distract him from all he's worked toward.

I hope you enjoy!

Readers that are eager to see the Martin family again are in for a treat! This time the story focuses on the lone man in a family of women. Bronson’s story is fun because it focuses on the orchard, not just the bed and breakfast. While willing to put his dreams on hold for his family, he’s finally branching out and trying to get the orchard up and running again to be a vital part of the community. He comes up with the brilliant yet tricky idea of running a camp and needing extra help to do that.

Insert Morgan, a woman estranged from her family and her hometown due to a terrible mistake she made years ago. And, of course, insert chemistry, nosy siblings, and adolescent campers who need a lot of guidance. All of these moving parts make for a wonderful story, as Bronson figures out that he can’t control everything and make everyone happy. Morgan is an empathetic character as well as she grapples with forgiving herself for her past mistakes. I love the reminder that our mistakes don’t make us who we are – what we choose to do with the pieces of our life after it has fallen apart, therein lies the core of who we are.

The next book is about Amie, and while I don’t feel strong camaraderie with her so far, I know in Chiavaroli’s capable hands her character will come to life.

I received a complimentary copy of this novel; a positive review was not required, and these are my honest thoughts and opinions.

Heidi Chiavaroli pens another story in her Orchard House Bed and Breakfast series that had me shedding some tears and seeing God's Grace. This is book 5 in the series, and while the story itself stands alone, I think this series is best read in order for the sake of character development. However, you won't be lost if you pick this one up on its own. This series is a modern-day play on the classic Little Women. Though I haven't read that book, I've still thoroughly enjoyed this series - but I anticipate fans of Alcott's classic novel will probably enjoy them even more. This book follows Bronson Martin, the only boy in the family since his father's death. That death was really worked through in book 1 as it was fresh then. But it comes up again a bit in this book because it impacted Bronson very differently than it did the girls. Since the family opened the bed and breakfast, Bronson has been helping with the grounds keeping and has taken great strides with the surrounding orchard. He plans to open up a summer camp to teach local kids about apple harvesting and to enjoy the things that Maine has to offer. But he needs help in this endeavor. Here enters leading lady Morgan Dalton. She has some skeletons in her closet that she has come "home" to face, but ends up being the perfect person to help Bronson get his camp off the ground.

This book had quite a bit going for it. The main characters were likable and relatable, but definitely spent the duration of the story growing. Fans of the series are able to see how the other Martins' stories are playing out. There's a slew of camp kids that will burrow their way into your heart (much as they did for Morgan and Bronson). There are solid themes of grace, forgiveness and letting go, making the faith thread in this one completely solid. There is conflict and conflict resolution. And, of course, a bit of a romance. I also enjoy the author's method of bringing the next book's main character into the light a little at a time in the book prior. It was also good to see a little more of Amie in this book than we 've seen in the previous ones. I really enjoyed all that this tale had to offer. The story had me turning pages and the message had me wiping my eyes. I really enjoyed this addition to this series, and I can't wait to see what's coming next!

This series has been so fun to read, and I was anxious to see how Chiavaroli would write out Bronson's story. She did not disappoint. Morgan was the perfect match! With themes of forgiveness, family, consequences to actions, and more, this is a beautiful addition to The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast Series!

Bronson and Morgan have great chemistry - perhaps the best chemistry of all the couples in the series thus far! But more than that, Chiavaroli didn't shy away from tough topics and things they both had to confront and deal with. I appreciate that so much about her writing. It keeps it realistic, relatable, and fresh.

Although you could read this installment as a stand alone, I recommend reading the entire if you have not done so yet. You will enjoy it!

I loved taking another trip to The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast with the Martin family! I'm so happy to finally be able to read Bronson's story. I enjoyed the chemistry between him and Morgan. I think that while this story was enjoyable, it also had a great message to it. I'm sad that there's only one book left, but I really can't wait to read Amie's story and spend a little bit of time with the Martin family.

I love this series! Another wonderful story in The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast Series, so happy to read Bronson's story. These books can be read as stand alones, but the story itself and the character development make so much sense when read in order. Such a fun modern twist on the classic book Little Women.

Author Heidi Chiavaroli once again beautifully weaves another story in this delightful series!

"We are all one choice away from altering out futures. Be it for the good or the bad. Still, the woman in front of him had been irresponsible and reckless. Now, she had to live the rest of her life with the consequences of her decisions."

"He had big plans, big goals. He would not allow a beautiful woman to distract him."

"This venture-carrying on the legacy of his father, growing young minds, and producing something that would bring joy, memories, and good old tangible food-was his dream."

I really enjoyed this story of family dynamics, dreams, poor choices, forgiveness, (can Morgan ever forgive herself?), and shaping young minds in positive ways; hard work, fun, and faith. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I highly recommend this story and this series. Thank you to the author for allowing me to read an early copy, all opinions are my own.

This is book 5 in The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast series. It can be read as a standalone since much of the backstory is told so the reader has some sense of the previous stories. I highly recommend however, to read the other books and get to know these lovable, delightful characters.

This is a heartfelt story of forgiveness and second chances.

BEAUTIFUL STORY OF REDEMPTION!

“Those before us made mistakes. We’ve made mistakes. But we don’t have to be chained by them. We must acknowledge them, yes—own up to them even, repent of them, but then we must step aside and make way for God to do a new thing.”

Heidi Chiavaroli has written one of the most beautiful books illustrating redemption that I have ever had the honor and privilege to read. Chiavarolia presents readers with the character of a young woman named Morgan who cannot forgive herself for making the choice to drink and drive one night while she was in high school. That choice led to eternal consequences as she had a wreck and her best friend was killed. She cannot forgive herself because she believes serving a short sentence in juvie was not enough in exchange for the life of her friend.

Chiavaroli brings her in contact with the Martin family whose members have had their share of mistakes and grief but also have experienced the priceless and life-changing gift of redemption. Bronson is running a Summer Camp at the Orchard and Morgan is working with them. They are helping the children at camp learn the business of an Orchard from the ground up, culminating with an end-of-the-season Harvest Sale. Branson and Morgan have every opportunity to be together but she cannot allow herself to enjoy a moment of happiness. When a crisis of epic proportions strikes, everyone takes a step back, lessons are learned, and Morgan finally realizes her need for stepping aside and allowing God to do a new thing. She is finally free from her guilt after all the long years! This is such a beautiful story!

Where Dreams Reside is the fifth book in Heidi Chiavaroli’s contemporary romance series The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast.

Bronson is the lone male in a house of females and his mom loves Little Women, going so far as to name her girls after the March sisters. In this book, the author gives a nod to Little Men, Louisa May Alcott’s sequel to Little Women.

Morgan has returned to Camden, renting the apartment above the Bed and Breakfast’s bookstore. She’s not sure she can start over, but then again, maybe she has a chance to do so after making a high school mistake that had horrible consequences. Is this a new beginning? Does she have a chance with the handsome Bronson?

As Bronson’s dream of a summer camp unfolds, challenges sweep their way. I was rooting for both of them the whole story and hoping Bronson could see his dream come true and Morgan find the peace she needs. The author does not shy away from difficult situations, instead she confronts them head on and offers a solution in God.

If you’ve enjoyed the series so far, then don’t miss Bronson’s story. If you haven’t yet read The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast series, you can pick up the series here. The book stands alone, but you won’t want to miss the stories of Bronson’s older siblings, and his aunt!

Where Dreams Reside is part of The Orchard House Bed & Breakfast Series, and it features the one Martin brother, Bronson. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series, and I have been anxiously awaiting to hear Bronson’s story! He has such a different perspective from all the ladies in the family, and it was a treat to see him chase his dreams while also being a leader in the family and in the community.
Morgan and Bronson are so perfectly matched for each other. I loved the confident, gentleman-like masculinity of Bronson paired with the wounded, uncertain heart of Morgan. I enjoyed watching Bronson build her up, speaking truth to her both in the physical things (like her beauty or skill with teaching) and with the spiritual. As usual, the author does a fabulous job tackling difficult and heartbreaking issues, winding the hope of faith through it all.
If you’re looking for hope amid all the troubles in the world, let yourself wander into this story. It reminds us how simple callings, like extending a hand to a friend, giving a person a chance to prove their worth, and forgiving past wrongs can make a huge difference in the lives around us.
Overall, I highly recommend this book (and the entire series). Bronson’s story is probably one of my favorites so far, but I’m looking forward to seeing how the flighty and passionate Amie turns out in the next book!
I was given a copy of this book by the author with no expectations of a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Where Dreams Reside is the fifth book in The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast series and is Bronson's story. While this book can be read on its own, I highly recommend reading the first four to get a fuller, more in depth story. I have loved getting to know the Martin family. Each and every one of them. In this book, we get a chance to learn more about Bronson. As the only son, he's piled a tremendous weight on his own shoulders since his father's death. He wants to protect his mom and sister, as well as fixing their problems, but sometimes we must allow God to what He knows we need.

Morgan returns to her hometown after leaving 8 years ago, after her life was turned upside down. She's hoping she can gain forgiveness and make amends for decisions she made in her past.

These two have great chemistry! Their ability to help each another was lovely and heartwarming. Heidi Chiavaroli does a fantastic job keeping the story flowing and your attention rapt!

Once again, spending time with the Martin family in the The Orchard House series is like coming home - so enjoyable to spend time with this family again!

This story is Bronson's story - #5 in the series. As the only male in the family, following his dad's death a few years earlier, Bronson takes responsibility for the success of The Orchard House Bed & Breakfast seriously, and sometimes his dreams must be put on the back burner for the sake of the business.

When a former class mate moves back into town, following a scandal in High School, Bronson must face his challenge of "fixing" everything and everyone, and turn the healing of Morgan over to God. The story has enough twists to be interesting and believable. Highly recommend for an inspirational story of love and redemption. Thanks to the author for an advance reader copy of this book, with no pressure to review or what to say in my review. All thoughts are my own.

Dreams Reborn

Another fabulous book by Heidi Chiavaroli! In this book dreams reside in The Orchard House Bed and Breakfast, but they also reside in the apple orchard behind the B&B. Bronson has planted, nurtured and loved the apple trees there and is now ready to open it for business and for a summer camp for kids. This has always been a dream of Bronson’s, and he is now seeing it come to fruition. Morgan has rented a room at the B&B and Bronson hires her to help with the camp. But things are not as they seem. Obstacles arise, disaster strikes. All seems lost—dreams have died. But God takes those ashes and rebirths dreams. A beautiful story of forgiveness, mercy, grace, and love, this is a book that you will want to read over and over again.

When a person has done something so injurious that they cannot forgive themselves, and believe they can never be truly happy, there needs to be a person or persons come alongside to show them a way out of that trap.

Morgan was that person and her sort of self-loathing can be so damaging that truth can be hard to find. Making up for that incident can be impossible.

Bronson, the only son in a houseful of women, is possibly one of the people to see her through to the necessary truth found in God's Word. But a number of people breathed life and forgiveness into this lost soul, not just Bronson. Good thing.

Wonderful book. Such amazing revelations and lessons not only that she learned, but the kids that came for the summer camp. So good.

I'm thrilled to add "Where Dreams Reside" to my collection of Heidi Chiavaroli's series.
When I read these books, I feel refreshed and look forward to my next reading time.

Forgiveness is freeing, wanting the best for someone else, and learning from failure (a lesson I am currently learning) are woven throughout this story. Heidi made me cry, a true sign of drawing me in and making me care for Bronson and Morgan. Bronson's story is a beautiful addition to the love story of the Martin family!

Heidi deals with difficult, real life situations in her books and she continues to come through with heartwarming, redeeming, realistic endings!

Warm Fuzzies

Heidi Chiavaroli’s books always leave me feeling warm and satisfied. Where Dreams Reside did not disappoint while dealing with some difficult-to-wrestle-with issues. Sure, there’s a love story, a great love story, but how, exactly, does one come to grips with killing their best friend? How do her parents come to grips? Then there is the question of how to include a child that doesn’t fit in with other children by any stretch of the imagination. Weave them together, add it a bed and breakfast and an apple orchard, and you get to read an awesome story! Enjoy!

redemption and romance

I really enjoyed this story of Bronson, the only man in the Martin household, and Morgan, a young lady trapped in guilt from the past. I had gotten to know Bronson in the previous books, but it was really good to see inside his heart. His dreams and hopes were realized and his desire for love fulfilled. I loved seeing Morgan’s past to redemption and freedom with God’s help. The Martin family is starting to feel like my family after 5 books :). I can’t wait to read the last 2. Highly recommend this book and the whole series!

I love this series!! Each book has me saying oh that was my favorite in the series. The fact is I think they are all my favorite. This one is Bronson's story. I've always had a soft spot for Bronson. Morgan is the female main character and her back story is a sad one. I found myself wanting to give her a big hug. There are some tough topics in this book, but also a strong faith component that shows where true hope comes from.

Another Martin family story, this time Bronson's story. He has taken on much responsibility for his mother and sisters and now with running a camp and try to start an apple orchard business, he has his hands full. This is such a charming family, with their share of ups and downs but they are always there for each other. I will be sorry to see this series end.

Where Dreams Reside is a lovely story of hope, love, forgiveness, and redemption. Bronson Martin is a fixer, the remaining male in a family of women. He takes on the role of helping his sisters and mother with their dreams. Now it's time for his own dream of re-opening the apple orchard and starting a summer camp there for teens. Morgan Dalton grew up in Camden but left eight years ago when her drunk driving killed her best friend. Though she was sentenced and did her time, she is filled with guilt, regret, and the feeling she doesn't deserve a happy life. As she becomes involved with the Martin family and Bronson's venture she has to face hard truths and discover who she really needs forgiveness from. I've enjoyed all of the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast series and look forward to Amie's story. I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.
