On the eve of leaving his pack for good, Damon finds himself in the company of a runaway omega and an ex-military beta. Stuck together by circumstance, it’s a recipe for disaster. Or is it?
Damon is a fighter at heart. He’s never truly felt at home in the Orchard, never felt like part of the pack. But on his way to break the news that he isn’t coming home, he finds a scared omega stowing away in his truck. Milo’s running from a bad situation, and Damon knows all too well what that’s like.
Conor isn't looking for much. Just a place to regroup, a chance to get his head on straight. Instead, he finds Milo and Damon. And somehow, he ends up right in the middle. A place he could never admit to wanting to be.
Milo’s world is black and white. Alphas are marks. Betas, unwanted distractions. And everything he does is for his little boy. But when a job gone wrong sees him trapped with Damon and Conor, his vow to never trust anyone starts to crumble. As his lies catch up with him, he has to get out before it’s too late. Conor and Damon were meant to be a means to an end. He was never supposed to fall for them.
Fighter is a m/m/m shifter romance and the fourth book of the Lone Pack series. It features a torn alpha, a lonely beta, a struggling omega, and lots of cute cubs. It contains mpreg, some mature and difficult themes, and scenes not suitable for readers under the age of eighteen.
Claire Cullen is an author and aspiring baker. Since she was a toddler, she has loved making up stories. Getting them down on paper proved a challenge in the early years when her preferred medium was finger puppets. She moved on to pen and paper, and later to keyboards, and hasn't looked back since, except for occasional bouts of nostalgia.
I can count on my hands how many MMM books I have read. I tend to stay away from them as I usually find the relationship unbalanced. Fighter, however, was perfectly balanced.
Three men. All flawed. All search for something. Alpha Damon doesn't feel like he belongs. He knows he's welcome into the Pack, but when he's there, he has the urge to leave. When he's not there, he has the urge to go back. Beta Conor is making his way to the Orchard, hoping he'll find a home with the Pack. Omega Milo is stuck in a situation he doesn't see a way out of.
With each other, Damon, Conor & Milo feel like they are home. But insecurity and circumstances rear its ugly head. And the men need to open their minds and their hearts for this unconventional relationship to work.
Fighter is a slow burn story, best read as part of the series. The MCs are perfect for each other. It's well written and a great conclusion to The Lone Pack series.
I received a free copy with no obligation to review.
This is a fantastic series. Damon, is a good guy, Milo, is used by Les to try to fleece the good guys. Milo, has a son, Jamie who Les held to keep Milo in line. Milo was the bait in the long con Les perpetuated to rob the mark of assets. Milo, walked a thin line, he was afraid of pack because what they traditionally did with Omegas and he avoided Alphas unless it was business. Conor, Beta, was looking for a new start and thought the Orchard would provide that. He had been delayed from his original arrival and hoped he was still welcome. Conor, Damon and Milo form a friendship while Milo is riddled with guilt. Can he complete the con and report the Orchards' assets back to Les? Do Conor and Damon let Milo go with no questions? Does Milo have any regrets? Can Milo keep Jamie safe? Great story.
The Lone Pack #4 was so worth the wait!! Damon has made plans to return to the Orchard. The place where his pack is settled. His life is about to go through a major shift when he meets Milo. Milo is a young man in a desperate situation. Conor is on his way to the Orchard when his unintended meeting with Damon and Milo happen. I enjoyed this Book so much. It was great to catch up with this wonderful pack of shifters. A happily ever after is had once all the smoke clears. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THE LONE PACK SERIES!!!!!!!!
Normally I do not read trio books because I am selfish and don't want to share, even the wonderful book characters. However, this book is too sweet to not read. Claire has written a beautiful story of brining three different men together to form the perfect throuple. If you are looking for a sweet and loveable group of men, this is it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I totally love this series! Be sure to read the previous books. This one is so good I didn't want to put it down. The characters come alive. The world is vibrant. You will fall in love with alpha wolf Damon, beta bear Conor, and omega cougar Milo. There is blackmail, a con, an evil boss, and abuse. There is also understanding, patience, pack and children, and HEA. You are gonna love this book!
I enjoyed this book. It was an easy read, and I fell in love with the characters. I will definitely read the other books in the series to better understand them and to see more of them!
However, the pacing was a little off in some parts, and I would have enjoyed a bit more of the actual relationship aspect, as it did feel slightly rushed.
This book was a great addition to the Lone Pack series. I love the story of Milo, Coner, and Damen. Emotion, drama, secrets, heat, sweetness. I was drawn into the story and enjoyed every page.
This is one of the best A/B/O shifter series, and this is my favorite of them, so far. The guys have their own fears and insecurities, they’re touched on and dealt with a minimum of fuss and angst. I enjoyed the story and the writing. I’m no writer, so I’ll leave the review at that!
It was great to be back into this world with a great hurt/comfort pack story from one of my favorite authors. There is a little angst in this book, but overall it’s a story about three people figuring out how they fit together, plus lots of kids.
Damon has always been on the run of from the pack. He picks up Milo when he hides out in his truck and Conor when he was hitching. The three are mates with big issues to overcome.
I only read the first one and this one. I thought the first one dragged on to long and kind of rambled (sorry) but this one was great. It was easy to fall in love with Damon, Milo, and Conor. Great job!!
Excedeu bastante as minhas expectativas, ainda mais se tratando de um trisal que não é algo que eu costumo ler. Senti que como final de livro foi muito bom, mas como final de saga ficou muito a desejar.
An absolute must read series. From start to finish they deliver. Great omega verse shifter books and babies. Each has a HEA ending too . Highly recommended series
Claire Cullen is a very hit and miss author for me. Unfortunately this one was a miss. The story was a bit thin and I just didn't care about the characters or their relationship.
This story completely destroyed me, and I loved and adored Damon, Conor, and Milo with all my heart. My heart was breaking over Damon not understanding why he never felt like he belonged with the pack he had helped build, but how whenever he left, he felt the pull to go back. Milo being sent after him to get as much money out of him as he could was killing me, because Damon was the first alpha who was actually kind to him and didn't want anything more from him than to provide a safe place for him. Conor just looking for a place to rest before he had to deal with what was chasing after him.
I died over these three colliding and being stuck together while the rest of the pack was recovering from an illness and getting to know one another. They were so great, and I died over how Damon and Conor both felt so protective over Milo, and how Milo was feeling terrible because he was about to betray them both. It killed me how a real connection formed between them all and how Milo didn't know what to do, because it couldn't be real for him because he had to go back to Jamie.
I loved the three of them figuring out how they slotted together. I died over Milo leaving and Damon and Conor going after him. I died over him being pregnant and how he didn't know what the other two would think. I died over his boss sending him to keep a visiting beta company and how it turned out to be Conor and how he and Damon were just there for him that night. I died over Milo explaining everything to them and how there was no hesitance in them to start making a plan to free Jamie.
Damon and Conor being so good with Jamie was the sweetest thing ever. I loved the little family the four of them made and how Milo gave birth to three babies, one for each of them. These three were just too cute, and I died over their story and how they found each other and came together <3
I felt like something was missing at one point. The pace of their lovestory wasn't quite right, the tempo going from slow to rushed in an unatural way. Maybe I was the one not quite in the right mood. I enjoyed the book but not quite enough.
