Being the only child of America’s wealthiest man is painful at times.
But it only gets worse when your name changes in the middle of the night thanks to a drunken lovefest turned marriage.
It started with a fight with a pretty pink cocktail and ended with a not-so-pretty pink plastic ring on my finger.
And he was a perfect stranger. A very hot stranger, but that’s quite irrelevant now.
Oddly enough, an annulment isn’t in the cards for us.
You see, in order for my drunken mistake not to affect the lives of thousands of innocent children, I need to convince my husband to stay married to me for at least six months.
But it’s never that easy, is it?
The poor boy has to deal with my dad and my ex who are working together to marry me off.
And not to my husband. But he’s a keeper.
Now to convince him that our love by accident is turning into a happy ever after.
Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.

What can I say,mi thoroughly enjoyed reading this feel good book. At first I thought been there, done that but no no - this isn’t just a fun story about two people being stupid, meet by happenstance and get drunk and end up married because they are in Vegas because in the morning they have to face that Constance is an heiress and Reece is a lawyer. Constance’s father has already chosen her husband for her so now what? Well, she falls in love. Terrific book, loved reading the story it makes you just smile,
Reese Walsh goes to Vegas for his friends wedding. But he receives a call from his ex-girlfriend. She tells him nasty things to get him going, and he leaves the reception to find the nearest bar. Constance Creed is tired of waiting for Nick Summers to propose. They have known each other since childhood. Their parents have had this planned out for them to get married and merge their wealth. They have a fight in their hotel room, and Constance walks out. Saying she had enough of waiting and being blackmailed by him. She leaves and heads down to the bar. She is getting drunk when Reece happens to see her crying into her drink. They talk, get more drunk, and the next morning, they wake up and find out they got married. She had been documenting every move she made while she was drunk, right down to the ceremony in front of an Elvis impersonator. Reece figures they would just get it annulled, but CeCe tells him she can't. Because it would affect her job. She never told him her last name. The Creed name was well known, and she was an heiress. She had to think fast for media control. She had her lawyers write up a contract to stay married for six months and then get divorced. She didn't want to lose the donors to her Foundations. Reece signed the contract but still doesn't know who he married. Now, they have to get away to get their stories straight on how they met and got married. They go away to her parents' villa in the Caribbean. While their, they have fun and share their lives with each other in between making love. Romantic island and beautiful beaches help. Once they get back home, reality set in, and her father demands an annulment. CeCe and Reece decide to do an interview on tv on how they met. They think it has gone over well until the next day. Nick tells lies to the media. He tells his version of how he's still in love with Constance Creed, and once she's done with Reece, he will gladly take her back. Everything is going against them, her father, Nick, and Reece's boss. His boss went behind his back to get Conrad Creed to bring his legal business to them, seeing Reece is married to his daughter. There are so many obstacles for these two to keep them together. The attraction to each other is there, but everyone is trying to pull them apart. Will their love keep them together and fight. Or this be it? Another great story by Weston Parker. Just loved this story.
“Love by Accident” is an accidental marriage story set in Las Vegas, the capital of impulsive decisions and drunken mistakes. This is a story in the ’Wedding Bells Alpha’ series by Weston Parker. Although it’s connected to the rest of the series, it can be read as a complete standalone.
Reece was left at the altar in a previous story and found out his fiancée had been cheating on him. In Vegas for wedding, he drowns his sorrows in too much liquor and marriage to a beautiful woman that he’s just met. Constance, also known as CeeCee, had been expecting her longtime boyfriend to propose … but he didn’t. Fed up with her father’s domineering control over her life, and her boyfriend’s calculated manipulations, she drowns her sorrows in too many pink cocktails and marriage to a handsome stranger. When they wake up after their passionate wedding night, they are both hung over and stunned at what they’ve done. Cue the complications! Constance is an heiress and the head of a major charity that helps children. In her drunken haze she made an additional bad decision and posted her nuptials on social media. If she and Reece get a quickie annulment to erase the quickie marriage, the damage to her reputation and that of the charity will be long-lasting. In their frantic efforts to minimize the problems swirling around them, Constance and Reece decide to lie, and then need to lie again and again as the tangled web gets more and more complicated. Interference from other people, particularly her father and her ex-boyfriend, make everything even worse.
I was glad to see Reece get his own story told and was an even bigger fan of his by the end of this book. Although sometimes Constance was a bit ridiculous, overall, she was an empathetic character. As a couple, they had hot chemistry, excellent dialogue, and witty banter. They really deserved their happy ever after. The secondary characters were great, and the villains were perfectly dastardly and despicable. I enjoyed getting caught up with many of the other secondary characters who had their own books earlier in the series. I also thought the ending was wonderfully done!
A great addition to the Wedding Bells Alpha series!!! Reece gets his story and it's A hum dinger. Recently split from his cheating fiance, Reece is in Vegas for yet another wedding. Little does he know, not only does be have the mother of all hangovers but he's no longer single. Constance is in Vegas with her long time boyfriend with the hopes of a marriage proposal, instead she dumps his arrogant self...and wakes up married to a stranger!!
Stay married for six months she says to protect her children's charity. No problem...wrong. Throw in a controlling father, a meek mother, a douche of an ex and some real feelings. Reece brings out the person she wants to be rather than what's expected. What happens when she believes the lies from her father??? Just when you think all hope is lost a ray of sunshine peeks through. Will CeeCee and Reece find the truth through the lies??
I highly recommend this MUST READ. The characters are real to life and you can feel the emotions they go through. His/her POV, no cliffhanger and a bumpy road go their HEA. Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Great job Weston!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection.
A drunken night in Vegas creates problems for everyone. Controlling family drama and finding your true love all on your own with nothing planned for public approval. OK. They did it. They got married. Drunken married. And because of CeeCee’s foundation, they’ve got to fabricate tons of lies to keep her foundation from suffering donations. What a great book. It starts off a little “oh, no“ but turns into the love of a lifetime for CeeCee and Reese. If they can make it past her father, Connor, who deliberately demeans her every chance he gets, and Nick, her ex-boyfriend, who never proposed and treated her flighty, they can survive anything. I guess in the upper crust of society they get used to being used by everyone for their own purposes. It’s not about love, it’s about what other people think and how it will affect them. But Reese and CeeCee don’t let that bother them. And I love the way the more they are together and the more they talk, the more they fall in love with each other. For once they can truly be themselves with another person. And their story is magnificent. A really, really great book.
I enjoyed going along on Constance aka CeeCee and Reece's journey, neither of them was expecting anything to come from their drunken union, but if they dissolve it too quickly irreparable damage will be done to the charity CeeCee is head of as well as her personal reputation.
In an attempt to minimize the problems caused by a marriage undertaken whilst too drunk to care, the only thing they can do is lie about their relationship but one lie leads to another and then still more as everything gets more complicated. Things might not have been so bad if not for her father and ex-boyfriend's interference which just makes everything even worse.
The chemistry between Reece and CeeCee is undeniable and even though they didn’t always agree about certain things I liked how they still supported each other and how Reece stood up for her and how she was able to be herself with him.
The story is told in first person POV so we get to know the thoughts of both Reece and CeeCee something which added greatly to this emotional story. The characters are well-drawn and likeable, Reece is a sweetheart who deserved to find happiness and CeeCee turns out to be perfect for him.
I've been enjoying the Wedding Bells Alpha series. In a previous story we were witness to Reece's devastation as his fiance left him at the alter, only to find out she'd been cheating on him. Needless to say he wasn't handling it well. When wedding took him to Vegas, his ex attempted to ruin the night for him with some cruel words. So what's a spurned ex to do? Get drunk and married. To someone who also is feeling spurned. Constance, CeeCee, has been living under her father's thumb her entire life, and thought she'd marry Nick one day. But when he keeps pulling her chain, she calls it quits and gets drunk. When in Vegas, seize the moment with a sexy guy and get hitched. This story is the aftermath of that drunken night. The question is how best to explain away their behavior, while protecting the foundation she has worked SO hard to build and grow. Plenty of drama for these two, but also some serious chemistry. Lots of ups and downs for these two as they discover what they are truly worth, and who they can really trust. An enjoyable story from start to finish.
Constance and Reese meet and get married after an alcohol filled night in Las Vegas. They may not have gotten married for the best reasons, but staying together may have been the best idea ever.
Constance is one of the wealthiest women in New York. Reese is a lawyer on his way up in his company. She needs to stay married to him in order to save face with the foundation she heads for her family. But can she lie to her family and friends? Can Reese?
The two of them finally see they are meant for each other without a silly fake marriage while on their fake honeymoon. The problem they have are the lies they tell each other and everyone else.
You always get a great romance when you read a Weston Parker book. This one makes you believe in true love, love at first sight, and that there is always someone out there made just for you!
This was a great book. It is told in first person POV and we get to delve into the thoughts and views of both the male and female Main Characters, which is a definite win in my book! This book will have you feeling all the emotions.
I loved the chemistry between Reece and Constance. I love how even though they didn’t see eye to eye on certain things, they still supported each other. I loved how Reece stood up for his CeeCee when no one else would. I loved how Constance was able to find her true self with Reece and help support him through everything.
This was a great book as well as the series. This book, along with the other books in this series will have you laughing out loud, getting mad and jumping with joy all while meeting some great people! I can’t wait to see what else Weston has in store for us!
This surprise wedding turned fake marriage romance was refreshing from start to finish. LOVE BY ACCIDENT did start out with a chance meeting between Constance and Reece both have just suffered the disappointing breakups that may come back to add drama to the story.
But the marriage gets off to a really rocky start with Constance’s family. She is so worried her impulsive behavior will reflect badly on her job and family, so they agree to pretend to really be married.
Reece was a such a doting husband and Constance a genuinely good person, so when all the drama descends on them, they can either get tighter and support one another, or run away to what feels safe.
I really enjoyed the book and felt that it broke away from the usual constraints of the trope in a good way.
I received an advance copy of the book from the author. After reading it, I wrote this sincere review.
5 Stars I received a free copy of the steamy Las Vegas to New York set novel Love by Accident: A Wedding Bells Alpha Novel: Book six: Reece and by Weston Parker and this review was given freely. An emotional and drama-packed instant attraction romance is combined with the dark theme of abuse and a nice update on the down-to-earth close-knit couples I fell in love with from the series. At first, I was sadly shaking my head as I learned that Manhattan lawyer Reece Walsh’s poor coping skills finally caught up with him in Las Vegas. But then, I watched his love grow as he not only verbally stood up for his new wife, Constance “CeeCee” Walsh nee Creed but also tenderly cared for her despite verbal abuse and interference from her caustic and self-entitled father and ex Nick.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Right? Wrong! That is not the case for Reece and Constance. Waking up with an aweful hangover and not remembering the nights events becomes a problem when you find out that you rae married to someone you know nothing about. Bigger problem is when you're the only daughter of America's wealthest man and he's pissed because you married someone other than who he had planned for you too! This book was a great read. I loved the fact that Reece agrres to stick it out with Constance for the six months that they agreed to, to keep up the image for her company even though he didn't really have to. He introduces her to amazing friends and they get to know one another better. You will have to read for yourself to get all the juicy details!
This is another series that I love to bits and pieces. At this point, I kind of feel like these characters are old friends, even though their lives look nothing like those of anyone I actually know. Reece and CeeCee could be the poster children for creating lemonade out of lemons with this story. A mistake that could have been completely terrible, turned out to be the most serendipitous thing in their lives. I loved seeing these two falling for one another, and it made my heart hurt every time they questioned the others’ feelings because, to me, it was so obvious how they felt about one another. I have no idea where this series might go next, but I desperately hope this wasn’t the last we’ve read from it. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Reece was left at the alter by his fiancé and did what any broken hearted man would do. Go to sin city and drown his sorrows and make bad decisions. Constance is trying to get over her boyfriends manipulative ways, when she thinks he’s finally going to propose and he doesn’t she jet sets off to Vegas and drowns her sorrows in delicious alcohol and bad decisions. When she posts her quickie marriage to Reece on social media and realizes how it could impact her charity that she runs she tries to fix it by getting an annulment. When Reece and CeeCee finally realize that they found love in the most unconventional way they have to figure out how to battle against her controlling father and embracing their true feelings. Absolutely loved this book.
A great story about accidentally meeting, getting drunk together and waking us married the next morning. Problem? That would be she (Constance) is an heiress and he (Reece) is a lawyer but not the beau her father picked for her. A story of the rich and famous not always the path Constance wants but doesn't know how to get out of until she falls in love with her Las Vegas one-night stand husband. Never before has she been surrounded by such great friends as Reece has introduced her to along with their wives. A whole new world filled with love and an HEA! Great job Weston - another wonderful book!
Constance (CeCe as he calls her) and Reece wake up extremely hungover in a Vegas hotel room with plastic rings on their3rd finger left hands and a marriage cert They don't know each other and don't remember the night before except when they started drinking CeCe is from the wealthiest family there is and Reece is an Attorney but had to work for everything he has ever achieved. The story goes on to unwrap all the mystery of what happened the night before and what they plan to do going forward. This book is very entertaining and I liked the bits of intrigue thrown in. The characters are strong and so is the storyline. This is a standalone easy read HEA
When Reese wakes up the day after his friend’s wedding in Vegas, he gets the shock of his life. He’s married! This after his ex broke it off with him because he was too busy for her, and she cheated. His first thought is to get an annulment. But his new wife has her reasons for them to stay married. And she’s willing to pay him for them. Can he do it?
Constance is as shocked as Reese that they’re married. She was tired of being strung along by her ex and goes on her first bender. She’s always had to be perfect to please her parents, especially her father. To him it’s all about the family legacy. With parents like hers, she doesn’t need enemies.
CeeCee and Reece meet when they both are drowning their lives in alcohol. CeeCee has had too many pink drinks and Reece has just had too many drinks. When they wake in the morning they are married. CeeCee’s father is not happy about this because he had plans of his own. This couple will face lots of obstacles and have no clue about one another. They soon will realize that they are meant to be but will they end up together? As always Weston delivers a great storyline with likeable characters. I love how Reece stood beside CeeCee through it all. I was honored to receive an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
These stories are ok. I enjoy the group of friends and how they are portrayed. I have a few issues in some of the stories about some impossible situations that happen. In this story, he goes in the water and comes out to have fun with the lady. I imagine he has swim trunks on. Then he grabs his shorts to get his wallet. Now most wallets do not go in the water. He did not take off shorts to get in the water so I imagine that he only has what he wore in the water on. So said wallet in a pair of swim shorts. Not something the men I know do. I just felt this action was not possible at this moment in the story. Ijs

Weston Parker has done it once again. Fake marriage to real marriage. Reese and CeeCee meet in vegas and after a night of drinking they wake up married...what could go wrong?? These two prove that love at first site does exist, but can they make it past the lies they have told everyone, or proove to her father and her ex that Reese is the one for her?? The characters in this book are awesome and I loved them. I highly recommend this book and series from this author!! I received a free ARC copy from the author and freely give my review
CeeCee and Reece along with the other couples in the series will have you invested in their stories as well as glued to each and every one of the books. I couldn’t put them down and read one after the other. The whole series is exceptional, fantastic really, and filled with epic love stories. I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them and I know you will too. I hope Weston Parker will give us even a short story to see where they are all at now. All HEA so no worries there. I can’t recommend it enough as it will not disappoint.
I loved the theme of this story. While it is focused highly on the Vegas wedding night and all the trouble it brought. I love that the one thing they were always set on were helping children. This love story is about who true family is and that’s not always found in your blood relatives. It’s often people you’ve met along the way. It’s friends that become family and this group has more love to give then most people encounter in a lifetime.
Love by Accident is A Delightful, wonderful, steamy and filled with drama..Having fun in Vegas, loosing up,getting drunk and met a gorgeous man and woken up married to a stranger that you've met is mind blowing and instead of annulling the marriage, they portray a loving and happy couple just to appease someone..This is Reese and Constance fake romance story turned real..loved it! well done! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book
Every interesting story starts “a drunken night in Las Vegas…” and this one was wonderful to dive into! It was intriguing to see the dynamic between opposites in characters: a rich, powerful woman and a hard-working lawyer. They find themselves married after one drunken night in Vegas and seeing them overcome obstacles together to realize it had been the best ‘worst’ decision they’d ever made. This was a beautiful story and I enjoyed the read!
Reese and Constance have one drunken night in Vegas resulting in them ending up married! She comes from a wealthy family and because of a foundation run by her family she and Reese remain married to save the foundation. There is a lot of family drama especially from her father that they endure but as they get to know each other their feelings build. Do they have what it takes to make it to a happily ever after? I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
This is a brilliant addition to this series. A drunken marriage in Vegas but what happens when they wake the next morning. Constance needs to stay married so her drunken mistake won't affect the foundation that she runs but Reese wanted an annulment but eventually gives in. They start to get closer but what happens when the truth comes out and her father and ex boyfriend pull them apart. Absolutely loved the ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is a well written book with strong characters in Constance a.k.a. Cee Cee and Reece. The author brings them together , finding them married after a drunken night together. Now they have to figure out how to make it work. It's a great addition to the Wedding Bells Alpha series! Loved and recommend this book.
