About the author

Oliver Napoleon Hill was an American self-help author and conman. He is best known for his book Think and Grow Rich (1937), which is among the best-selling self-help books of all time. Hill's works insisted that fervid expectations are essential to improving one's life. Most of his books were promoted as expounding principles to achieve "success".
Hill is a controversial figure. Accused of fraud, modern historians also doubt many of his claims, such as that he met Andrew Carnegie and that he was an attorney.

I didn't know this author, but I've often seen his books around and got engaged by the titles. Finally I had the chance to read one of his works and I have to say that I probably need more. What this book is is all in the title. A quick read to put your life on track and help you to start on the path to success. The examples may be old, but they serve to make you understand what the author is tryng to say and you can easily apply contemporary examples to it, they work on the same level. I recommend it to everyone who wants to make a change and strive for a better life.

The little in the little book is more in its name. However, the book is far more larger in terms of the knowledge it imparts.
The author covers a lot about ambition and how it drives your career and life. Another key aspect covered is the enthusiasm with which you are able to do any task or work. This book was probably written about hundred years ago and it still adds a lot of value in the current times.
