Kenya Wright wrote her first novel during her third year at UM Law school. She dropped out a month after the release and never looked back.

Words are power,
and Kenya wants to be the greatest wizard that ever lived.

It's an audacity to inspire
and teach the healing of love through arousal.

It's this crazy idea that love
can not only help a reader escape,
but the story can also teach the person
about being human,
while making them laugh,
cry,
and hot for more sex.

Beautiful

I love how at the end I was able to see how this story was connected to book one. The ending was amazing. I really wish we had learned about the vampire husband, but I'm assuming that is something to be brought up later.

Azar and Fatou are an amazing couple and I would love a short story about how they parent together.

I also love the drawings. I know many complained, but I don't read these books in public and as a visual person it helped me to see all the sexy things I was reading.

I can't wait for the rest of the story.

The book series that I've was patiently waiting for book 2...

Azar is a succubus who has become bored with the constant annoyance of the need to feed off humans. Fatou a Fey with a darkness inside of her light a parting gift from her ex...now has to pay off a debt that her ex left in her lap and now the sorcerer he owes demands payment. If she doesn't pay off the debt she could loose something that is more precious to her than air and now she has become a hunter of demons the children of the fallen angels Lilith and Lucifer turning them over to the sorcerer. The assignment is to capture Azar, but she didn't know Azar was this powerful and won't go down easily. Fatou is in for the most sexual ride that breaks a couple of the rules of engagement. The author gives a new meaning to the mile high club and being one with plants and nature. The illustrations were so good and erotic like bruh!! Azar has been added to my dream book husband list and the way he was able spilt ...nevermind... just know he was throwing that log down the meow meow train. This series is wild because I was like wait is this a standalone not tied to the first book, but she hits you with the okie doke... so well played ! Great book and the series has been amazing so far...So when does book 3 in the series come and can I be an ARC reader if you have them. I definitely volunteer...

Kenya Wright literally has become one of my top 5 favorite authors and I love her books as well as her illustrations. As I always say she is the Queen of Erotic Illustrations and I stand on that...argue with your wall not me!

Fatou is a fairy on a mission, trying to clear a debt with the wizard, Aday. She must capture and bring in the powerful and elusive incubus demon, Azar.

Just when she thinks she has him, Azar turns the tables. Her reputation has preceded her and he knows exactly who she is and what she’s up to before she sets her alluring trap and can get her needles and fangs into him.

Fatou is not what she appears and Azar is attracted to the exotic demon hunter with the venomous fangs. Something about her unusual blood calls to him; it’s different and more potent than that of a fairy. When Azar learns of Fatou’s predicament and why she’s hunting him, he makes a deal to help her complete her mission, even though the trust between them is yet tenuous.

However, these enemies will soon become so much more than lovers, especially after Azar tastes his sweet fairy; they become partners in crime on the way to settling Fatou’s debt and another undertaking, much more important.

Azar likes Fatou’s curiosity, and that she wants to learn more about the universe, especially his. Her inquisitiveness makes him willing to share and teach. He is the typical possessive, touch-her-and-cease-to-exist MMC and Fatou’s energy matches his in every way.

This story has interesting and visually impressive world-building detailed enough without being overwhelming. I loved the description of the scenery in the church and that particular love scene. Incubus and fairy couplings are so freaky and hot. I especially enjoyed Azar’s demon origin story and his magical powers. I like the way the author led the story back to Crystal Lake, the location of the first book, by the finale.

If you’re in the mood for an inter-species paranormal romance with lots of adventure, danger, intrigue, heat and spice, I highly recommend this read.

More Appropriate Title: Freaknik, Demonic Version

Great story with a lot a physical descriptions and detail, even becoming repetitive during the 1001 sex scenes.

There was a lot of sex; steamy, graphic, freaky, all participants involved kind of sessions.

I enjoyed the original plot and character types, especially the inclusion of African Fae.

However, there were several questions that were left unanswered..

Who was the husband and what was his motivation?

What was the original reason for holding Jade?

Why was Fatou's difference so important to the other supernaturals?

Things that didn't make sense.. It felt like the ML jealousy and intent to off Ferkos was unnecessary at first. He intended to get rid of him, someone he'd known for years, and the initial reason wasn't valid.

His attack of the Botou Brothers even after they advised they were innocent in the game Ferkos played.. was again, overplayed and unnecessary. He could've protected Fatou if he wasn't always thinking about sex, and thinking more about what she'd asked his help with.. like she accused him of.

Why couldn't Lil or Luc bring Ferkos back?

In the beginning when it was stated what was needed to hurt or k1ll a demon, the LI was very specific. But, he didn't do any of those things to get rid of Ferkos and the Botou Brothers.

It also said in the beginning he never had any children and that narrative changed too.

Other than those irregularities and Inconsistencies, I recommend the book.

My rating is 4.5, rounded up.

So good and well written!

Almost done…. If you guys haven’t got your hands and eyes on this you are seriously missing out on one of her greats! Have you ever had an author write something you can use all your senses and experience…yeah that is the Queen-effect that Kenya Wright flavors all her words with! Amazing…once again…(gonna copy and paste this to my review of course) Love you Queen…and love me some Azar and Fatou❤️❤️❤️
Descriptively written to the point I wanted to know how a first love smelled or how a friend’s hug could trigger a flavor! Kenya really made me feel like I was there in the moment when she described the welcome home feast! The culture and tradition was something I wanted to know as well as Zoe!
Storyline amazing!
Characters uber amazing!
Scenes, especially the sex scene over the ocean with dolphins and atop the highest trees in the Amazon Rainforest…ooooo, I get chills reading about it!
I couldn’t put it down as with ALL her writings!
GREAT JOB QUEEN…on to the next!

One of the best books I have read in some time.

I love this book from the moment I started readifor sometime before I picked it up, and from the first page into the last, I thoroughly enjoyed every word. The characters were in depth, the humor was outrageous, and the sex was fabulous, and love won. Angels and Demons are always one of my favorite themes, and this one seemed to capture the depth of them, much better than most. I have loved reading kenya's books for some time, but this one just captured me, which surprise me like no book has in quite some time. I think anyone reading it will find it thoroughly enjoyable, zetangible.

There is some thing with this book that I can’t put my finger on, but it was a no for me. I just wish there was more of plot in this book and I wish that it was more world building. I feel like i read just a whole bunch of smut. Don’t get me wrong I love smut in my books but it got to the point where it was to much smut and not enough plot. I feel like everything in this book happened too fast and that is what threw me off. I hate when my books move to slow, but moving too fast is a no I as well. What I do like about this book is that it different because I’ve never read a book with succubus in it and I liked that aspect of the story.

Loving this series.

I enjoyed the series, but i was curious how the worlds and storyline would come together with book one. Kenya pulls this together beautifully and has opened my eyes to a much bigger creative world, a world I never saw coming which is even more "fantastical" to me. I can't wait for the next book! So loving this world and the characters. Let's not forget the illustrations. Fab!!

Beautiful Story

Such a beautiful story of Azar, finding love in Fatou after such a dark time in his life. Together they set out on a mission to save someone that Fatou, hold dear to her heart. Kenya Wright, wrote a sweet story that is full of action, adventure and spicy smex.😅I would recommend this book as it took me a day in half to finish reading. I am looking forward to the next story in this mystical series.

what a story

5 plus stars for this story. The Hero and Heroine were both fierce no nonsense beings. I love that.. it gets boring quickly when the heroine needs saving every 5 minutes, not Fatou, she is legit badass. I loved her and Azar’s love for each other and the journey they took to develop that love.
5 plus stars!

Waiting for the next book!!! I just had surgery so I can't move too much but these 2 books have taken me farther than my legs ever could. I love how this goes with the first book and I love the part about God. I'm not a super religious person but lately I've been feeling my faith in life growing. Yeahhh I definitely need the next book!!

Mythical creatures seeming so real!

This was A-MAZ-ING. I had no idea what to expect I got it because it's Kenya Wright and knew it would be good regardless. And now they'll be meeting up with Aiden, Imani and the rest of pack soon?! I know that's going to be awesome. Excellent read and highly recommended.

This book had me feeling like I was on a continuous roller-coaster ride. When I thought the ride was slowing down, you picked up speed and had my mouth wide open.
The illustrations and the sex scenes, OMG!!
All I have to say is, you will not be disappointed, and this book will leave you wanting Kenya to hurry up with book 3.

Mission

Fatou was on a mission yo get her daughter back from a sorcerer, that was holding her for a debt. Being a hunter, she had the power to bring down magical beings. The sorcerer wanted a incubus demon named Azar. Fatou set out to capture him and ended up befriending him. Azar fell first, then Fatou. Their journey was long and dangerous, but I loved it.

Too much sex!!!

Where was the story?? I'm all for a good sex scene but give me a break. All that porn just took away from what could have been a great read. I hope this is the end of this series if this is what's to follow.....

Book 2 of 2

This is labeled as book 2 of 2 but I hope there are more coming. I like to storyline so far and the pending battle. While there isn’t a cliffhanger in either book, there is a substantial thread that can continue.

Spicey and well written

Love this author who is new to me. Very spicey fantasy! Loving seeing how a Black woman takes it there. As a Black woman myself having read a lot of white fantasy and romance dark and not dark it is nice to see some other POVs.
