When I met him I didn't realize who he was. I still didn't when I let him take me back to his hotel for the night.
I never expected to see him again.
Until I found him on my father's couch, revealing him and I are connected in more ways than simply a one night stand.
To make it worse, he was a Saint, part of the ruling mafia family that owned the city of Redhill.

I should have stayed away at that point. I had a lot at risk and my own mess to deal with, but it wasn't that easy.
Not when he kept showing up, and that one night turned to two, and then three...
I was drawn to him as much as he was to me.

We should have stayed away from each other.
If we did, maybe there wouldn't be more than my heart on the line...

𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐬

She was a distraction I didn't see coming.
A light in the dark.

I was no good for her, not with my demons and my past. She deserved better.
And yet I kept taking, kept devouring all that she was willing to give.
My life was dangerous.
I was dangerous

But she didn't run from me and maybe if she did we wouldn't be in this mess.
But I'm a selfish man and the games I play are ones that only end in shattered pieces.
She'll learn soon enough that I'm no good.
But it'll be much too late by then.

I should have known how this would end.
How could someone so broken hope for a happy ending, after all?

All the Broken Pieces is a dark mafia romance and contains heavy content including explicit scenes, violence, a stepsibling romance, and abuse. It is intended for readers 18+

''Rare sunshine in my storm''

Safety warnings:
- Stepsiblings
- No cheating
- No OW drama
- OM drama (not the fun kind)
- Physical abuse
- Mention/Flashbacks of attempted rape/assault
- Loss of loved ones
- Abandonment
- Violence/d*ath
- HEA

If you have not read ''No Saint'' I suggest you do in order to really understand the plot and Atlas's struggle with his past and events that occurred in that book and it will obviously spoil everything, so go ahead and read that book first!

We are back into the Saint's world and this time the focus is all on Atlas. The events in the prior book really did a number on him and he seems adamant on living his life filled with pain and sorrow. He is unforgiving of himself over what happened, and he denies himself happiness.

We meet his love interest right away (this book starts off with spice) she's in charge of her mother’s legacy which is an animal shelter and is being forced to do a certain something in order to maintain it. These two don't know anything about each other prior to meeting, not even realising they are stepsiblings.

I have to say I was appalled by her father’s behavior and how easily he was being manipulated by a certain someone. It was just super disturbing how he threw his own daughter away.

OM drama: You’ll see what I mean when you read it. Jack can jump off a bridge 😊

Atlas reconnects with his estranged mother but yeah that's not a great reunion lol We get more insight on what led to the events in ''No Saint'' and it's an eye opener.

There is a lot of push and pull in this book, especially from Atlas but it doesn't mean it's a slow burn. These two have incredible chemistry and the spice is constant but plays a pivotal role in Atlas's coping mechanism.

Enzo's book is next and honestly, he is the most mysterious person, and I cannot wait to see what Ria has in store for us!

All I felt after reading this was frustration and being drained. I loved No Saint, but this one was so bad. Then again, this is my personal review, and other readers may feel differently.

Atlas was a broken and damaged MMC. Feeling so much guilt about killing his own twin brother. Although his twin deserved it, it was still a heartbreaking moment to end the life of your sibling. He also has abandonment issues stemming from the fact that their mother gave them away without a glance when they were six years old. He has so much baggage, and it was affecting him and the way he treated those people around him.

He thinks he always ruins the best things life can offer, and one of those good things is Emery. He thinks he doesn't deserve her, and she's too good for him. Which, honestly, I think is true, but that's my personal opinion. Because of this idea, he kept pushing Emery away and continuously hurt her. Then he will apologize and do it all over again. His hot and cold treatment of her was so goddamn annoying. Then again, it's probably because of his issues; he was toxic to her but couldn't stop himself from being with her.

As for Emery, I don't know how to feel about her character, honestly. I'm not sure if I should applaud her for her kindness, understanding, and never-ending patience with Atlas. Or, if I should be irked, that she let him walk all over her, used her, and hurt her. She was the one always running after him, even after his verbal lashing. She was the one who always sought him out whenever he pushed her away. I'm not sure if what she was doing was commendable or just pure masochism.

All throughout the book, it was Emery who always reached out to Atlas. Whenever he has an outburst, she will find him and comfort him, despite the fact that she is hurting. Now that I think about it, it seems to me that all her attempts were borderline pathetic and martyrlike. Why does she have to be the one who needs to be more understanding? Or why does she have to set aside her feelings just to cater to Atlas needs? She's her own person and not his personal punching bag.

Don't even get me started with her last attempt to talk to Atlas. Atlas kicked her out of his house when he realized she loved him. After a week of nothing, Emery went back to Atlas house to talk to him again, as per the advice of his sister-in-law not to give up on Atlas. But what did the jerk do? Atlas ripped her a new one, said another mean and hurtful word, then kicked her out again. I mean, how much kicking out can a person take for them to finally grow a backbone and gain some self-respect?

Then, after Emery walked away again, she received a distressed call from an employee. She went to the shelter to check on what was happening. Apparently her stepmother (Atlas' mom) and ex-fiancee were waiting for her. Then a lot of things happened, and even in the chaos, she was able to call Atlas and ask for his help. Atlas turned up, then some shooting occurred, and he took a bullet meant for Emery.

I guess grovelling won't be necessary because he saved her life. But it wasn't enough for me. I'm not saying what he did isn't heroic, but the author made it so easy for Emery to forgive Atlas for every pain he caused her just because he took a bullet for her. He freaking crushed her multiple times and really inflicted emotional pain, but she was supposed to forgive him because, at the end of the day, he became her knight in shining armor. That was utter bullshit, imo.

I'm already done with the book when Atlas kicked out Emery, because he was a fucking coward who needed a lot of psychological assistance. But then I pushed through because I wanted to know how this one would end. I thought kicking her out was bad, but the second time he did it, it was worse. I almost threw my kindle out of annoyance; I can't stand reading Emery's character being stomped on again and again. There's a limit to being pathetic that I can only handle, and she has already hit it.

(Thank you Peachy Keen and the author Ria Wilde for the eARC in exchange for a spoiler free review)

I’ve read No Saint from Ria and since it was a continuation I couldn’t not sign up for it. I recommend the books to be read in order because the first spoils this one.

Ria did a fantastic job of bringing Atlas' story to life. It was hot and brought out other sad emotions at the right points of the book. Emery’s bravery and perseverance went well with Atlas’s personality. Also, we all love a panty keeper right?

Although the forbidden, step sibling trope wasn’t as scandalous as I would have wanted it to be, it did give an edge to the book.

Overall, this was a book I enjoyed!

not bad not spectacular, it was enjoyable if you're up for a quick and easy read with not so much going on.
Such a pity even this one I felt like it lacked a more "strong" villain story, it was there, but it all felt rushed at the end and dismissed quickly and not thoroughly developed to its full potential.
thank god I did not have to suffer the misspelled italian phrases of the first one (No Saint).
overall, yeah, I'll be waiting the 3rd one about Enzo 👀 Pretty Reckless

5 stars for this arc! All the Broken Pieces follows right after No Saint, it is a complete stand alone although we first met Atlas (MMC) in No Saint; in which Gabriel stars as the MMC.

I was not prepared for the sadness in this book, Ria did an amazing job bringing Atlas' story to life. It was sexy and spicy in all the right places. But, also incredibly sad. My heart hurt for Atlas, his character had so much depth and torment to him. I felt his pain, struggles, and demons as they tried to take him under. He is in a relatable stage of life...where our guilt haunts and chains us. I loved his path that he walked, there were many times where he challenged me but, I understood why he did the things that he did. He is a morally grey, broken man that has to learn how to cope with such unimaginable circumstances. I loved his addition to the story and how this book sort of read as a Novella and tied up his loose ends.

Emery (FMC) brought so much to the table. I love an underdog, which Emery was, even though she comes from a background of wealth it isn't of her own making. She was born into a life that she didn't belong in and you could clearly see how much she struggled against her restraints. I loved seeing how she continued to fight with everything she had to protect what she cherished. She took a lot and took it with her head held high and persevered. She was kind, she was light, she was a little warrior with a heart of gold. Emery and Atlas' journey was really well thought out and delivered beautifully.

This story is rather fast paced, as I mentioned it read sort of like a Novella. But, I felt that this showed the skill in Ria's writing. It takes experience and confidence for an Author to display restraint when writing a story that is interconnected to prior books. All the Broken Pieces didn't need to be any longer than it was. It delivered exactly what I needed it to. And for this, I had an amazing time. This book was a great read for me and I can't wait to have it on my shelf next to No Saint.

“Love. She loved me. This pure, beautiful girl loved a monster. And that—that—was why I would let her go.”

Atlas & Emery’s story was very angsty. Atlas saves his stepsister from a bought arranged marriage that their parents set up…why you ask? Because if he can’t have her…no one can! 😈 Our bad boy wasn’t a villain but also not a hero & he thought he didn’t deserve her. But their ✨quality time✨ was SPICYYYY!! It was the perfect combination of pulling emotions & heating us up!

wow okay that opening y’all I just knew this book would be good. and you just knew they were definitely going to run into each other again and boy was that an interesting surprise.
Emery is being pawned off to an awful man in order to save her rescue shelter and Atlas is just jealous enough to make sure no one has her but him. I loved that they tried to fight their chemistry but ultimately the light in emery chased away the dark in Atlas. The epilogue was so freaking satisfying literally made everything they went through so much better. would have been a 5 star read for me but the third act confrontation was unnecessary he knew they needed to be together and still sent her away AGAIN

Out of spite, she wanted to have one night of a hell of a good time with a stranger, and she didn’t expect the next morning bish it was her stepbrother. Emery is about to get married, and she hates it so much. Their paths kept crossing, and then they couldn’t stay away from each other.

After Atlas spent a night with this vixen, who actually is his new obsession, and kept her panties as a souvenir. DAMN, sir. Okay! He resented his mother and is now married to a rich man. Little did he know that his daughter was the same woman he was obsessed with, and he would do anything to make him hers.

If you read No Saint you will know why Atlas has demons , if you didn’t read it I recommend you do as you will understand this book better . When Atlas meets Emery there are no names shared it’s only meant to be one night until Atlas finds his mother and realises Emery is his stepsister . Atlas & Emery’s relationship wasn’t easy as Atlas couldn’t allow himself to be happy but Emery was intent on breaking down his walls . I enjoyed Atlas & Emery’s story and getting answers into why Asher changed so much and what pushed him to betray his family was perfect and I can’t wait for Enzo’s story.

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Triggers: violence, almost rape, mutilation, kidnapping, verbal and emotional abuse, violence against women, murder, slightly taboo relationships, infidelity.

As you can see, a lot of dark triggering content. As always be warned.

This book sure was a heavy one, and I don't mean heavy as in heart. I mean heavy as in hardcore dark romance vibes.

I fell in love with these stepsiblings immediately, despite their taboo relationship. And how he manages to attain her forcefully in the name of a debt.

I love how the issues are explored between the two, the hero and the heroine, about their own pasts, one night stand, and what the future may hold.

I loved some action, not the gore though, and how he was like touch her and die vibes, haha loved it.

I loved the chemistry, the angst, the emotions, though more romance would've been appreciated.

Now I definitely look forward to the other books for sure.

Until the next read,

My Broken Man!

All the Broken Pieces was my second read of the author and oh my God. The story was whole another level. Getting to know Atlas story was heart-wrenching and god, I want to hug him and tell it's okay that he finally found his home with Emery. It was such a forbidden romance, age gap, step siblings, interconnected series. Atlas and Emery has such a intense chemistry/intense and with them together? Pure fire! Emery is sweet sunshine who Atlas wants badly but can't have because he thinks he's too dark and broken but Emery saw who he really is and did what she could to make him feel better and fight his demons. It was emotional ride and I would say it's darker than No Saint. I'm quite looking forward to silent and stoic Enzo's story!!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This book includes themes, tropes and content intended for readers 18+, please head the authors note.

A night with a handsome stranger, no strings attached, was what Emery needed, one of unbridled passion and pleasure, going their separate ways, never to see each other again, only fate has other plans for them both.

The one and only thing that means the world to Emery is the animal shelter, which belonged to her mother. But it's come to a point where she is going to need to find the means to keep it afloat, but there are those out there that want to utilize it for other purposes, and she will fight tooth and nail to see that what is left of her mother's legacy remains intact.

However, her hand is being forced by her father, blackmailing her with the funding he knows she needs for the animal shelter, to better his social standing for their family, so she acquiesces to his demands.

But a chance encounter puts them in the path of each other, and when recognition dawns on their faces, when they realize who they are to each other, they know that this is something that both of them cannot get into again, for it will have consequences for both.

For Atlas, consequences mean nothing, for Emery is his, only she doesn't know it yet. But Atlas has endured trauma in his life, it is what has made him the man that he is, it has affected him in many ways, using mechanisms to help him through, relying only on himself and his family.

Atlas is controlling, dominant and possessive. He draws Emery in, gives her pleasure like no other, taking her to new heights like never before, in the process keeping her at arm's length, no wanting her to get involved in his world, but for her, she has no choice, for there is no denying their chemistry, for it is a blazing inferno that neither can escape from, a connection they cannot separate themselves from.

But Emery's situation takes a turn for the worse, and she turns to Atlas, when he sees what was done to her, and by whom, he is livid. However, Emery finds herself in a precarious situation, Atlas comes to her rescue, lines are drawn in the sand, for he is her avenging angel, but it comes at a cost to both of them.

After the tumultuous events, unbeknownst to Emery, and with Atlas's help, her father's hand is forced, her mother's animal shelter is hers, and in doing so, Atlas makes a sacrifice that hurts them both, leaving them both hurting, but they both come to the realization that they need each other, for neither can do without the other, laying claim to each other in the most primal way possible.

This story is told from dual POV, we get to see the characters growth and development throughout the book, each bringing their own strengths and weaknesses, what we see and feel shapes these characters, giving readers insight to who they are flaws and all, that they are in fact humans who all feel but handle what happened to them differently.

Their story will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters. The author knows how to write, and I will be coming back for more.

This book has it all dark romance, possessive dominant alpha male, a fiery heroine who finds her place in the world and gives a good as she gets, touch her and die vibes, family and friend dynamics, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, truths and betrayal.

And those s*x scenes, including those BDSM elements were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect when Atlas show's Emery that he will be the only man that she will ever need, for he will always get what he wants, giving Emery the pain and pleasure, she deserves, their attraction undeniable, his possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, there foreplay it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

Highly recommend both book and author!

Arc review - comes out today

All the broken pieces - Ria Wilde
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This is a second book in a series of interconnected standalones. I would suggest reading No saint first as there is a storyline that is part of both books.

This book follows Emery and Atlas. Atlas is in the mafia and he hooks up with Emery one night only to realize that she is his stepsister.

Atlas is a very tourtured soul, he is dealing with a lot of trauma and really doesn’t feel like he deserves love. Seeing his character development throughout this book was really special and came off very authenic.

Emery is a sweet, kind and loving character that has been put in an unfortunate situation. The pull between her and atlas is just perfect, it is painful seeing her perspective of atlas as he is dealing with his trauma. She is more delicate than the other FMC I usually love but she was very lovable.

Ria Wilde is quickly becoming a must read author for me! Definitely a must read if you love,

• Mafia
• Touch her and die
• Broken boy

Also I cannot wait for Enzo’s book 😍😍😍

Emery and Atlas share a one night without sharing no names.

They met in a casino (love that, never read a book with casino meet).

Until Atlas finds his mom and realises the girl he slept with is his stepsister.

But she is stuck in a forced marriage with a real piece of work.

Atlas doesn't allow himself to be happy so their relationship was not that easy.

But Emery is set to break down his walls.

I have to say this book had me from the start, no way around it.

I really feel for Emery she is kind and so loving but she is in a very unfortunate situation.

Step brother, dark romance… yes!!

I freaking loved this!! Atlas is troubled, punishing himself for his past, unbelieving that he deserves anything good. Emery is this pure bit of sunshine in his dark world.

After a one night stand, they discover that their parents are married (Atlas is estranged from his mother). But these two simply cannot stay away from each other. Emery is promised to the son of the mayor (Jack can kick rocks), and Atlas vows to do anything he can to keep her safe, protected, and get her out of the arrangement.

Ria writes a freaking AMAZING story. Full of plot and spicy spice!! Atlas and Emery are HOT, and the plot is intriguing.

I’m excited for what’s next!!

Oh boy!!! Atlas, Atlas, Atlas, this man and his mouth, whether it was the words coming out of it or things he did with it, I was hot. The tension between the pair and how he was with Emery was demanding and possessive in EVERYWAY. Ria wrote this book perfectly. Atlas is my new book boyfriend. I'm keeping him.

I was kinda bored. Story was there, but could have been SO MUCH BETTER. This seemed very rushed. I know it's a smut book, but just a few more details or plot would have made it worth the read.

Gave it 3 stars instead of 2, bc I did love the characters and again, plot was actually ok.

Wow!
I was so excited for Atlas story once I got a peak into his character from No Saint.

Atlas didn’t disappoint. He was broken, filled with regret and not expecting to fall in love.

Emery and Altas souls just speak to one another regardless of how much they fight to ignore it. Their story was perfect and Altas got the ending he deserved.

All the broken pieces by Ria Wilde, it is a standalone but it is recommended that you read No Saint before since the characters are linked and you understand the history of Atlas a little better, this book is for people over 18 years of age and contains some warnings that you must take consider.
This is my first novel by this author and I'm sure it won't be the last, this is a roller coaster of emotions story but it's super worth it.
I really enjoyed the characters, Atlas is a dangerous and deadly man who carries within himself the weight of his demons and pain that serve as gasoline for his darkness, Emery is the complete opposite of Atlas and it is that light that attracts him the first time that they meet, she is a sweet girl but with an iron will and although the cards she has to deal with now are not the best, she sees herself doing the best she can, and when her path crosses with Atlas again, everything gets complicated a little more, although they know that the best thing would be to stay away from each other, it will not be easy, Atlas needs her to help him calm his demons and Emery wants to be that balm, but he will soon realize that if he doesn't you want to save yourself there's nothing anyone else can do.
Truly a heartbreaking but beautiful story at times, I highly recommend it, you will love it.
*Thanks to Ria Wilde and Peachy Keen PR for my ARC. I voluntarily leave my honest review*

Yesterday I was scrolling through Instagram and read a review that lead me to read this. This book is fantastic. The storyline and the characters were everything I needed in a book. Emery was a strong and beautiful character that didnt give up. Atlas is a broke morally grey character that has one hell of a dirty mouth. I mean that man can call me a dirty whore any day of the week. Heads up though there is a moment when you see just how broken he is. I got teary eyed This is standalone but there is a book for Atlas's brother that I will go back and read since they play a big role in this book. The next one will be out in Spring. I am now suffering from a book hangover.

He was never going to give me his heart, not the way I wanted it, and I was going to have to settle for all the broken pieces instead.

While you don’t have to read No Saint, I would recommend it. One night turned into one big mess! Though, I’m not really sure I’d consider it a mess. A beautiful mess really, and that’s the best kind. Emery saw Atlas’s darkness. Which didn’t surprise him, everyone saw it. It wasn’t hidden in the least. But she SAW it. And even more surprising to him, she didn’t run or cower away. His soul craved Emery just as much as his body did. Maybe even more so. Atlas is weighed down by his demons, by his guilt. But it was his grief that was eating him alive. Emery wanted to be Atlas’s escape, and she understood what that meant, and still never hesitated. Atlas feared her acceptance. But she was his. And he was willing to fight through whatever he needed to, so long as he was just as much hers as she was his. Everything said that they should stay apart, but their bodies and souls said otherwise. Atlas put all the broken pieces of my heart back together, too. That damn stubborn man.

All The Broken Pieces is another standalone book by Ria Wilde that interconnects with the events and characters from No Saint. All the Broken Pieces explores Atlas and the fallout of the events in No Saint. The events that irrevocably changed Atlas, broke him, and how he eventually is able to put all the broken pieces together....with the help of Emery..his new(to him) stepsister.

Ria always writes intriguing, hot af, possessive mafia-esque men that are absolutely morally grey but will do anything for their family and their girl.

Atlas is a very broken man. He has been groomed his whole to be who the family needed him to be, who his twin needed him to be, but he never got the chance to be...him. Because of the things he's been forced to do in the name of family, he believes he's broken and not worthy of much, and that belief is very much reinforced at the end of No Saint. Due to those events he eventually has to cross paths with the one person he hates most in the world, his mother.

After dropping in on her new life, Atlas is surprised to find that the hottest one night stand he's ever had...is now apparently his step sister. He knows he should keep away, but he can't. He was never that good at doing what he should anyways. As with all good things, entangling himself into Emery's life is both the worst and best thing he could do. She may not know it but she needed him. Needed him to shake things up, and protect her from those who want to use and hurt her. Not saying that he too won't hurt her, but he'll at least kiss it better.

All the Broken pieces was such a ride for me and I initially did not think I would enjoy it because of the "taboo step-sibling" trope, but the way Ria crafted it made it completely different from what I expected. Ria really stepped her game up with this one. The spice was extremely satisfying, and I believe it may be her spiciest book to date. Even though this book wasn't as obviously dark as her others, it was still plenty dark. ATBP deals with more internal demons, and evil hiding in plain sight than the over horrendous deeds that happens in her past works. I absolutely enjoyed every part of this book.

I enjoyed it. Didn’t love it. Something didn’t click with me. I think I wanted more. Idk what, but it was good enough. I’m excited to read other books by this author. So far No Saint was a fav!

Atlas and all of his broken pieces have stolen my heart!

I really could not put this book down! The relationship between Atlas and Emery started with a bang, quite literally, and had me reading page after page wanting to know what was going to happen next. Atlas's character has a tragic past that continues to haunt him and bleed into the relationships of present. Emery is a girl tied down by her family who is the light Atlas desperately needs to drag him out of the darkness.

The chemistry between these two is hot and the smut is definitely smutting in this book, let me tell ya! The taboo-ness of it all just adds the much more and had me wanting to read those scenes again and again.

This novel is a stand-alone and can be fully understood without reading any other books, however for better understanding of some of the side characters, I would recommend reading No Saint first.
