The stories of the people living in the Age of Earthdawn reflect their experiences at the mercy of the evil Horrors, a terrifying force that threatens their minds, lives, and souls, causing them to seal themselves underground. Original.
Eine nette Sammlung von miteinander verbundenen Kurzgeschichten, die über viele hundert Jahre die Zeit vor, während und nach der Heimsuchung als Hintergrund haben.
This is a very engaging sword and sorcery fantasy set in a fantasy world created for the Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game back in the late 80s and early 90s. It is a little bit retro and out-of-date. It is probably impossible to get ahold of any other Earthdawn books at this time. They are probably all like mine, in the libraries of D&D aficionados of decades past. But it is a collection of very good fantasy short stories.
It is what it intended to be, fantasy horror. One story of a magical talisman told by several authors via short stories. Some were better than others of course. It was an acceptable easy read. Wouldn't recommend it unless the person was interested in Earthdawn or was an avid fantasy horror reader that wouldn't mind something a bit different.
