Who am I to write a memoir? I’m nobody special; I’m just a guy who was lucky enough to fall into one of the finest community theaters in the country. I was immediately accepted and given an opportunity to perform, direct, help build sets and make a few lifelong friends.
Follow me on my personal adventure as I learned acting, directing and managing musicals, comedies and dramas
This book is a series of pleasant recollections of the author's glory days as an actor,. director, and active member of The Drama Group, a community theatre in the south suburbs of Chicago. As a an active member during the same period, I was mentioned many times (for which I am grateful.) I often found myself wondering what people and shows I would have included had I written such a book. Thomas is upbeat and complimentary, but unless you were a friend of his or a member of the group, this book would have limited appeal.
