Five Star Read!!!!
Miss Jazzie has done it again!!! I have read all her books and they all keep me wanting more. I get to fall in love with new characters but no one will ever take Magnolia's place cause that's hubby. I love Yhental and I love her alter ego even more. I think Big B made the right decision. Brazil betta pick her battles cause she barking up the wrong tree looking for Ye. I like Khaza but I'm afraid for him. Knowing what he's done and knowing it gonna come to light got me sweating and trembling for him. From the things that happened in his past and his manipulative snake azz mammy Khaya, there's no wonder he bat shyt crazy. Now here she comes bout to get her and her sons fked up. She better not be trying to get a spot for her favorite son (the one by Big B) or all hell really will break lose. I wonder how Kadafi, Symphonii, and Brazil gonna shake shyt up. I can't wait till part 3. 💟💟

Khaya is playing a dangerous game with her son. She is not going to be happy until he snaps and put some lead in her life.
I really hope when the truth comes out that Ye will forgive him. BJ is moving funny and I really don't trust him. Can't wait for book 3.

Khaya definitely has to go... she is way too sneaky for me and I can see her turning on Khaza and an all out war starts...Bakari and his jealousy is going to be a problem as well... come on book 3

This book was ok! I think it could have been summed up in this one! Nothing really happened! Everything moved quick. Quiet a few errors as though it missed the editing phase but hopeful in book three it will all come together.

Average Read
The first book was actually really good but this 2nd addition failed in the details following book 1. There were too many inconsistencies to me. First Yhental was so sheltered that the family followed her everywhere, limited her contact with society and treated her like she was 10 but you mean to tell me I’m going to believe that all this time she was some trained killer and her father is handing her over some large drug operation when her brother was already in the streets and running the operation, but yet they wouldn’t even let her drive through the hood or drive her own car without permission? No way I believe that. Then with Khaza in book 1 he killed his dad and had absolutely no idea why his mother put a hit on him but in book 2 the mom supposedly told him before the kill.? Again no. Then the mom hinted that Khaza may have sold his organs on the black market but we know that Khaza put it in a cooler and she had her men take it in book 1. Then Bakari already knew Munai was on birth control in book 1 but now book two he doesn’t know? Then Khaza said something about only knowing Yhental for 5 months but how is that the case when they met, took a week break and then reconnected the following week before the shooting? Now they are in the hospital and it’s been 5 months all of a sudden that they’ve known each other? The Nhairobe all of a sudden has a best friend relationship with Bakari’s right hand when in book one it didn’t even seem like they knew each other. Just too many details were inconsistent for me to really enjoy this second addition. Book 1 was great though.

There were quite a few grammatical errors but the book was great outside of that. Khaya is a damn snake. She's slithering around while having her son Khaza do her dirty work. For some strange reason. Something is telling me either Magnolia or Yhental knows Khaza was behind what happened to Big Bakari. However Bakari Jr is slipping. Although he's right about something not being right with Khaza. Bakari Jr. Is showing exactly why his father chose Yhental to take his place. Muni might have to end up picking side's. I know she love Bakari Jr but Khaza is her family. I hope Nhairobe don't turn out to be scandalous. I know she's putting Piper in the place he wants and deserves to be. However I feel that Bakari Sr leaving her with what he left. Has a deeper meaning. I'm wondering if he's her father. The way this ended. I don't see Bakari Jr accepting his little sister Yhental new position and I believe Khaya is going to cause more problems for Khaza.

Babyyyyy Miss Jazzie IKYFL! The cliffhanger and surprise guest. I love everything about this series. I love Khaza and Ye together. He is caught in an impossible situation. He cares about Ye so deeply that he is prepared to lose everything for her. When she finds out the truth, I hope she remains with him. Khaya is by far the worst, I hope she receives all the karma she deserves. I have a feeling Ye is pregnant. Muni was BJ puppet and so blinded by love that she was just putting herself in the middle of the sneaky mess he is doing. I hope she get a real backbone in the next book. BJ is surely going to cause issues in the next installment. I need part 3 ASAP!

Girl, Girl, Girllllll! How could you leave us hanging like that! Khaza and Ye are made for each and I hope that they can get through all that's getting ready to fall at their feet! I have a feeling that Bianca and Symphoni is going to be a problem but I know that Khaza and Ye are going to handle them accordingly! I believe Khaya deserves what is coming to her. Dangggg! Another banging read from Miss Jazzie! Babyyyy the skeletons that came out the closet was tooooo much! Man Khaya gatta go! Who don't want to see their kids happy just to wreak havoc?! Homegirl had a whole agenda because BIG B moved on?! Wow oh wow! I couldn't remember if Zeem or Zee was the oldest but that's crazy that one of them is linked in by blood. Ye been living a blissful life being groomed for an eventual takeover and the one time she let her heart lead, she falls head over heels in love. Now she pregnant and when the ish hits the fan, it's gonna be alot of chaos! Whew challe I don't even know if my nerves ready for part 3! Great read

Inconsistency overload
I was all in until chapter 2, then things got confusing. Yhental's whole character changed... i mean she went from a sheltered weak naive virgin girl that couldn't go anywhere without asking for permission...to a trained killer running a whole 💊 operation 🙄. Then Khaza whole character changed from a cold blooded hitman that "offed" his dad with no emotion to heartbroken over wounding Yhental's dad.... come on! And random Tasha must be Jamaican because she had 3 different jobs. I honestly think the author got confused. I gave it a 1 🌟 because I can't finish it due to poor plot, inconsistent character development, and spotty book flow!

Inconsistent
Believe me, I tried. The first book was riddled with inconsistencies and I thought maybe the second book will be better. In my mind, I believed the author was going to fix the errors that was made in the first book. Boy, I was so wrong! The fact that story has so much potential is upsetting me and my homegirls. I never give out 1 star reviews, I had to do it. It was extremely all over the place with no proper flow. Character development seemed made up on each page. By the end of the book I felt like the author didn’t even read the book. Honestly, you can tell she didn’t read her own book

Jazzie, Khaya, is really just a sick individual, she plays to many dangerous games and to have Khaza as her puppet has really made him get into this unsuspecting war that her dumb behind really gives less than 2 f###s. Yhental, is a boss in her own right but her heart has been broken, and now it may never be able to heal. All this over a deranged woman that can't be truthful with herself or anyone else. I'll be glad when someone gets at Khaya cause I'm so sick of her mess.

couldn’t do it
I am sorry. I loved the first book. I love reading urban novels. But this is one I couldn’t continue reading. Part 1 was terrific, but then you went somewhere else in part 2. I couldn’t follow it anymore. Maybe you should have reread part 1 to follow part 2. I wish the story had added up because I would have read the whole thing. I stopped pin paged 42, and I couldn't even read the other books. I would love to know what happened to the characters. Maybe if you do a relaunch and let the story flow and match up, I would come back and reread this book.

This series is off the chain and lit. My boy can't catch no break from his mom he really needs to take her out. My first sexy man finna turn up and I can't wait. My girl Ye is finna be lit to i can't wait to see her other side and my girl Nay. U did good on yet another book and im looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating p while waiting on the next book to read.

Whew Chile these blood feuds are about to begin.
SO, we all know Khya ain't SH$T but she could have the decency to have kellz back. Ye is playing in a grown man's game of what seems to be blood chess. I wish her and Bakari was on the same page but the shift is real. Magnolia and his tribe seem to be mafia but this is my first series by the author and I'm impressed enough to want to read about them all.

Eh, it was alright. Nothing big happened and it started to bore me after a while, so it took two weeks to finish.
I don't remember anything significant about it, other than the father being shipped to Italy to heal. I was, however, a bit disturbed that none of the ladies, especially Nobby (this is her name, correct?) sat Ye down and talk to her about her impending situation when all of the signs are there. And what is with all these dudes putting their hands on their women and yelling at them every time they open their mouth? That shit ain't cute!
The setup for the next installment literally presented itself on the LAST page so this was just a fluff piece to get to the climax of the storyline.
I will probably read the next installment just to see how it all ends. But I'm not excited about it.

I know the action has just begun, I'm hoping that khaza and Yhental can withstand the trouble that's brewing. I know that Nay will have her back and Piper will get the respect he deserve in the end.

This book was all over the place. And though it’s fiction, it was just not written well enough to be believable. Ye..the person who couldn’t even drive her own car or leave home is all of a sudden a thug and trained…ah no. Then, it was just a bunch of stuff happening that I’m not sure why. I don’t know this book didn’t work but I want to see how it plays out. I ended up skimming a lot because the story just didn’t mesh for me.

Part 2 was a bit contradictory and confusing. The details didn't match throughout the book.
It had potential but the details were off. And the song lyrics are played out. Every author has done this and frankly I'm over it.

Now I did like ending of this book because it's leading up to some drama. Hopefully part 3 won't disappoint.

very good story
I’m so enthralled in this book I didn’t notice I was at the end… and but is it good so man twist and so many characters are tied and don’t know it boy I just excited to get to the next part. Yhental has definitely switched up on us and is a totally different oersona she definitely not the damsel in distress who is t street smart like we were led to believe now let’s see how she finishes this saga.

Head B In Charge
I love how everyone plays a part in each story. Especially since I have read all of her books it brings me joy to somewhat catch up with other characters.
I have a feeling things like will somehow justify why certain people were shot or killed. I can’t wait for part 3 and also see what the story is about the new people.

Part 3 Me ASAP
When I say Jazzie is the truth with her pen, I mean it. Page Turner! I found myself slowing down so I wouldn't read it all in 1 sitting. Yhental and Khaza oh my, (holding onto my pearls).
My predictions:
Yhental is pregnant
Khazeem and Nay is deeper in than what we know so far
Khadafi is Khaza oldest brother
