He’s the most brutal assassin in the galaxy. And I’ve just ruined his hit.
Kaila He’s an alien, eight feet tall and as green as spring. He’s obviously from a predator species, all deadly fangs and furious determination. Now he drags me across the icy surface of the planet where his hit went wrong. Went wrong because of me. It wasn’t on purpose. I would be fine with him killing my owner, the bony orc-like alien that bought me at auction. I was his property, which is what Earth girls always are in space. But being this hitman’s hostage may not be much better than being his target. Because it looks like I might die. This snow planet is cold. And the way the guy looks at me with those burning red eyes, whatever he’ll do to me now, I can only hope it will be quick…
Kraxitan She is an absolute menace. I should kill her and get rid of all the problems she made for me. She ruined my most important hit ever. And worse, she saw my face. I’ve murdered for much less than that. This female is fighting me every step of the way. But killing females was never my thing. And killing Kaila… well, I’d prefer not to. She is quite shapely, with her round, soft features and exotic appearance. That fiery resistance of hers fires me up, too. Perhaps I can get my revenge in some other way…
Alien Hitman is the seventh book in the Alien Abductors series of science fiction romance novels. The books are complete stories, but should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.
Expect steamy scenes, mysterious aliens with features like adult toys, deadly planets and the love story between a girl from Earth and a sensationally hot alien with hidden talents!
I thought the premise for this book had so much potential. I mean, accidentally ruining a hit because she’s trying to escape is unique. But the MMC treated Kaila like crap. The entire book. And not in the “you’re mine and I control you” way, but the “your life has little value” way. The grovel was also pretty lackluster.
Spice: 4/5
Triggers: abduction, groping, attempted SA, captivity, slavery, suicidal ideation, murder, violence, gore
Kaila didn't ask to get kidnapped and definitely didn't ask to become an exhibit in some alien petting zoo! She had just wrangled enough courage to attempt an escape when she accidentally ruins a hit on the same guy she was trying to escape!
Now a huge green alien is a tad miffed at her and his avian sidekick has decided to lend Kaila a helping hand and helps her escape from the zoo.
Kraxitan is a predator. His entire race are superb hunters but he is not starting to enjoy the kills he makes. Yes, they are the scum of the universe but he really shouldn't be taking such joy from his kills. Now saddled with a tiny human, their ship crashed into a remote sector of the planet and they have to out-manoeuver Kaila's former owner and his henchmen.
OMW Kaila may be almost 2 1/2 feet shorter than him but she Kraxitan as good as she gets. She's determined, loyal and brave - even when completely out of his depth. Kraxitan hides a softish core under all the green grump. He and Kaila spark off each other and the playful banter/flirting is great.
Kraxitan and his ...ahem, will amaze you and make you wish you had your own alien hottie! I'm really enjoying this series and watching as the Earth resistance to the Bululg expands.
----------Summary---------- Kaila(h) has been abducted from earth into space. She is sold to an owner who places her into a petting zoo. On her first day she attempts to hurt her owner and flee from the zoo. But she actually breaks Kraxitan's(H) nose. A notorious hitman. Because of Kaila he failed to kill his target and has a bad impression of her. They're both chased by Kaila's owner and are forced to work together. This journey brings them closer.
----------Commentary---------- First I have to say that this author did a BRILLIANT job describing this world and their customs. This was such a great book. The book has a great balance between action and romance. I loved the chemistry between the MC's. I will certainly read a lot more books from this author.
This has been in my KU list for so long, but I keep running to the newest pretty thing I borrowed, and let this gem of a book stare at me expectantly. Now that I've read it all in one sitting, I can tell you that I absolute oh you get loved it! It had cool characters, the action was steady, Kaila was constantly in danger of being killed or abused, but she always taught back! Her alien was not described as some earth dude with a slight difference, he was a whole different kind of vibe. I loved Bransa, eventually. It took me a few chapters to adjust to her snark. I thought it was a fantastic exploration of the blindness of addiction, the allusion was on point! Don't wait like I did, start reading the books at the bottom of your KU list, you'll probably find this book there too. Calista Skye can really spin a fun to read adventure!
One of my fave sci-fi romance authors! She always writes such rich and interesting worlds, and her heroes are wild, weird and wonderful!! This one was no different, with a grumpy hero from a predator species which makes him perfect as an assassin. The heroine has been kidnapped from earth, which is still under the control of the Bululg and who harvest earth girls to be sold as slaves throughout the galaxy. The heroine has been sold to a particularly vile warlord and dumped in his petting zoo when the hero shows up to do his job. Unfortunately she gets in the way and thwarts his aims, and both have to run to save their lives. Thus commences a hunt in which her former captor tries to kill them both and while they’re busy fleeing and trying to stay alive, they find they just might be soulmate, but the journey to a HEA won’t be easy.
This is a slow burn and more story-heavy, than spice-heavy, but there’s a few steamy scenes between the MCs.
Safe. Dual virgins. Possible triggers are kidnapping, slavery, intended sexual assault against h (which never happens due to heroine escaping.) and lots of violence. No cheating or sharing or abuse between MCs. HEA with epilogue
So, so good! What a strange set of circumstances! The deadly predator becomes the prey in a mad chase across a frozen world. I adore Kaila! She’s got ingenuity (although her aim may be a tad off), plenty of sass, and the inner strength to persevere. Grouchy Kraxitan turns out to be exceptional; I love him, but he seriously needs to get his priorities straight. Typical male, Kraxitan doesn’t want to ask for directions! I love it when the two of them play games. They’re delightful! And a special nod to those ever so cute corgibats - adorable!
After reading the other books in this series I wasn't sure about this one. I mean a hitman? Screams mafia and godfather to me lol. But I do love this author style of writing. It's always blended well with humor and angst And like all her other books this one quickly won me over. Bransa was so drywitted and made an excellent sidekick. Not to give anything away but I totally didn't see her being who she turned out to be! Well done! Can't wait for the next one!
Dealing with life changing events for Kraxitan, the green giant of a hit man, usually meant he ended the life of an evil murderer, like Muruks, the proud owner of Kaila, a young female fresh from Earth. Kraxitan’s unexpected encounter with and reaction to Kaila, begins a change for better or worse. But first, they must escape and survive a snowy wasteland among the mountains. What or who waits for them beneath all that snow? Enjoy!!!
Kaila was taken from Earth and is put in a "petting zoo". As she is trying to escape she accidentally stops the hitman who is there to get rid of the alien who bought her. He takes her hostage but let's her go when he gets to his ship. After take off he discovers his partner let her into the shop. Then they crash. Nite they are on the run from the orc in a cold snowy land. Will they survive? Fantastic story with an endearing and unexpected adventures.
I loved it. The idea of an alien bounty hunter falling for the female that ruined his kill hooked me from the blurb. But this book was so much more than that. I loved the extra characters, Bransa and Luna were both adorable in their own ways. I would love to revisit the MFC and her big green man in the future .
I enjoyed the plot. I liked both the hero and the heroine.
My problem is that the author uses the weirdest language during love scenes. At one point, the heroine says it feels like a woodpecker is touching her. A woodpecker bird with golden silk in its beak? Something like that. It is just so...weird.
I enjoyed this story. Kaila is a strong heroine who fights back against the master who enslaved her Kraxitan is a predator who hunts evil beings. Bransa is snarky, and there is a surprise in the plot about her. Corgibats are adorable. I want one. Lots of action. There are steamy scenes.
I am so in love with this series! This book was a beautifully written addition. There was so much I enjoyed about this book but I refuse to leave any kind of spoilers. Two thumbs up. 👍 👍
Tough to fear a guy with a rose head. I kept picturing Groot with a head like a rose. Probably not accurate, but funny as heck. Lots of emotional growth and a unusual way to address addiction. Still a great read with lots of action. Love Bransa.
Book seven in the Alien Abductors series. A well written story that kept me turning pages. Kaila and grouchy Kraxitan's story was a fun story to read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It's a special story that can be sweet and light-hearted yet deal with some deep issues in a meaningful way. We also get to meet the adorable corgibat species! I want my own flying puppy.
It’s not one of my favs. I mean what kind of assassin is he? I was expecting a bit more than this after reading hornet, but this one was pretty boring so I skipped when they were having conversations(between the hitman, the girl and owl/elder).
Great read plenty of action, romance and adventure. I love the character and the story line. Looking forward to the next installment of this adventure.
